I'm a first time mom in North Jersey and I was wondering if there was a way for me to find babysitters without spending $35/month on Sittercity or care.com
I thought I could find a local mom group to ask but I'm having trouble finding one of those. Literally the only local group I found on FB was for kids with severe allergies. I also looked on meetup.com and found a couple things but not an event I actually want to go to. I'd rather start by talking with a group online rather than going out. Where are all the moms???

If you want a group to talk to, what about your BMB? Otherwise I'd recommend finding storytime at the library or going to a Meetup.
