    How big is baby? The size of a pumpkin or a shorthaired cat.

    Appointment updates? Last OB appointment tomorrow! Baby boy has received his eviction notice and will be here sometime on Thursday if he doesn't decide to come sooner.

    Any new symptoms or changes?  The SPD has gotten much, much worse in the past week.

    Rants/Raves/Questions? When I read/hear SPD in relation to pregnancy, all I can think of is Sensory Processing Disorder. Result of almost a decade of working in special ed. 

    GTKY: How long have you known your best friend, and how did you meet? I have known my best friend for 23 years, and we met at church when we were four. Our moms clicked right away and started setting up playdates (it took us a little longer to warm up!). They both had three kids at the time, and my little brother and I were exactly same age as my best friend and her little brother.
    Our little brothers are still best friends as well.

    How far along are you? 37 weeks, full-term, baby!

    How big is baby? Head of romaine lettuce

    Appointment updates? Just had my routine prenatal and GBS swab yesterday and the OB, who I don't normally see, was going on and on about my weight gain. I just stared at him blank faced and said, "Well, I'm going for 50, so..." He didn't know what to say! It kills me how female providers don't seem to obsess as much about weight gain in women with low-risk pregnancies, but the male providers obsess over every ounce. So annoying.

    Any new symptoms or changes? Just worsening of everything! So uncomfortable in every sense of the word. Backaches, pelvic discomfort, lightening crotch, and I can't correct this pregnancy waddle to save my life! I'm also getting close to needing to go up a bra size and I pregnancy rhinitis is rearing it's ugly head. Upside is my sciatica hasn't made an appearance in the last week. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions? My rant is that I don't want to be pregnant anymore because of all of the discomfort, but I'd really like to go sometime after 39 weeks; "ay, there's the rub!"

    GTKY: How long have you known your best friend, and how did you meet? Met my bestie when we played basketball in the 6th grade (18 years ago?). Never thought I'd see her again after the season was over, but I was switched to a different school district and came in the first day of health class to find her assigned seat right across from mine! We really bonded watching awkward 70s videos of a girl's first menstruation and a cartoon boy's first pubic hair. Anyone else miss 7th grade sex ed? :D

    How's your waddle @ladylolly89 ? :) This SPD is no joke. I'm pretty sure my husband is rolling his eyes every time I get up from a long sit on the couch or out of bed. I can hardly take myself seriously sometimes, but it is legit uncomfortable!

    @MrsCaliRN It's not so bad when I've been up and moving, so I can usually walk normally, but sometimes when I get out of bed or off the couch, it's a full five minutes before I can even attempt to walk (erm, waddle) to the bathroom!

    How far along are you? Baby Girl is 2 weeks old

    How big is baby? She weighs almost 7 lbs. She gained 10 ounces in a week, which is awesome!

    Appointment updates? She doesn't go back until 2 months now. That seems crazy!

    Any new symptoms or changes?  I'm starting to feel more like myself physically, but the hormones are still raging. I'm driving my poor husband crazy.

    GBS swan was negative. I didn't think I was worried about it, but I'm relieved to get those results!
    Any new symptoms or changes?  
    Anemia is being a jerk.
    Rants/Raves/Questions? 
    DD is working on her 2 year molars and is having a hard ton be sleeping/napping and her normal sweet self is in hiding. Combine that with and anemia and I am so tired. In the bright side, I'm getting lots of snuggles out of my wiggler who normally won't sit still.
    GTKY: How long have you known your best friend, and how did you meet? 
    I meet one in kindergarten, and the other was my college roommate, so 26 and 12ish years. Those two are basically human gold. 

    @MrsCaliRN , I'm so glad my mw hasn't been like that. I don't think I could handle it right now.
