This is my second to last Saturday with my husband at home - and only DH! So we have to finish the baby's room - hang stuff on the walls, attach the changing pad to dresser, repaper the closet shelves, organize the closet... Last night I washed the baby's clothes and blankets for the hospital, so we can pack his bag. (I did mine last weekend, although I may have to switch out for more dresses now that my CS is booked) We just sold the old rug from the baby's room, and now we are going to a registry event at BRU. We def need to grocery shop today, too!
Tomorrow DH works, and I missed a deadline yesterday so I should probably put some hours in too. Monday I get to call HR about leave/short term disability, since I will be within 30 days of the original EDD I told them!
Highly monitored internet and no cell service in the office, so I'm postin' and ghostin' while I'm workin'

Today we have a food contest at a friends house theme:chili. We are entering the cornbread and pie categories. Thank God I can wear maternity pants! I made a silk pie (which technically I shouldn't eat because raw eggs, but I went and got fresh eggs this am) and we are making jalapeño corn muffins here in a few minutes. I will need a mid day nap after all this eating!
My husband is fasting and ... I need him to do stuff so I can later spend some last alone moments with him.(wishful thinking?) Parents coming soon and and the fasts are really long but oh well. I.need.things.done!!!
I'm trying to convince my husband to clean the carpet in the living room (the only place on the main floor we have carpet so it won't take long at all!) Otherwise just the usual, grocery shopping and meal prep today. Tomorrow our church small group is throwing us a sprinkle and I'm hoping to get everything put away and organized in the baby's room.
Just errands and playing with dd - still haven't done anything for this baby. I hope they give me one of those boxes I've been reading about so she has somewhere to sleep when she's born.
Just kidding. We have a cosleeper... somewhere around here.
I've been organizing up a storm! Got 4 giant tubs of baby and toddler clothes sorted and stored. Moved a bunch of crap to the basement. We cleaned out DS's loft, and are making it his play/reading area.
My baby boy turns 2 on Tuesday - I can't believe it!!! Monday is a holiday here, so we are having a small, casual park party that day.
Today, DS and I took a two hour nap together. Then I let him have a somewhat rare hour of screentime in bed, while I kept sleeping. We were both pretty pleased with the arrangement! I'm feeling a little sad that he will have to share my attention soon (though I know that's silly and normal).
I've got sizes 0-3 to 6m washed and the rest sorted into boxes and put in the top of the closet. I felt a little weird today like my blood sugar dropped but it was fine. My blood pressure was also fine, so I'm not sure exactly what was going on.
I have felt so lazy this past week. And there's still a lot to get done! I have had freshly washed baby clothes hanging all around the house drying that would be so simple to just fold and sort into sizes and put away in the dresser that's been assembled in baby's room SINCE FEBRUARY. but instead I'm laying on the couch mobile bumping.
Im running out of Saturdays!! I need someone to come kick me in the butt. Untreated ADD is not helping me.

Same here and there's only so much time in between iftar and when he leaves for the mosque. It's been exhausting running after my 10 month old without much help but there's only 3 weeks left. I'm working tomorrow so he's on his own fasting for 18 hours and running around with the baby. Yikes
I washed all the things today. Sheets, washcloths, towels, mattress protectors, changing table covers and protectors, pillow covers, blankets, swaddles, our boba wrap, and of course, a bunch of clothes. I'm exhausted, except I realized I forgot to wash the ikea mattress cover that comes with the mattress, so now I have to take the additional protector and fitted sheet off to do that. I feel like this is 100% unnecessary, but I can't stop myself at this point.
It was really nice out today, so I went to the pool! It was wonderful! Otherwise, I've been organizing and cleaning. Tomorrow will most likely be more of the same. Jus trying to get things done and enjoy some time alone, while I still can!
H had his last day with students on Friday, so today we celebrated with dinner and a movie. We saw Wonder Woman and I cried like five times.... Thanks, hormones!
Husband is playing softball for his company and had practice today. I went and we both got crazy sunburns so we went and got slushies after. His first game is Monday night and im very jealous since I used to play softball and feel so left out. Tomorrow we're going to get him a new glove since he's been borrowing a coworkers.
Other than the new glove, not sure what other plans we have tomorrow. I thought it was supposed to be hot and nice all weekend but around 5pm it started to pour like crazy. At least it cooled it down from 93 degrees.
pregancy dreams still weird me out, even though Im nearing the end. Last night I dreamed that the mob was going to kill me if I didnt make a sex tape with this russian lady who had a penis growing off her elbow. I ran away and hid in a ditch where they couldnt find me instead... thanks pregnancy brain.

My mom is watching my son this weekend so we went to the casino last night, left up $400 from the three card poker table!! Yay! DH was called into work today and of course I woke up just before 7 even though DS isnt here to wake me up but I'm so bored. I can't bring myself to do anything productive- all I want to do is go pick him up!!! I was dying for some alone time and now all I want is to be with him!
This weekend was super busy over here - I invited my parents to come with DD and I downtown Friday evening for a stroll around the shops and ice cream. Saturday DH picked up our nursery furniture and we had our maternity pics. The photographer posted some teasers yesterday....I can't wait to see them all!
Sunday DH had to meet with 2 potential customers for work, then we headed to the mall to try and buy new running shoes for us both. Ended up with a pair of baby size 1 Nike running shoes for the baby (we bought baby Pumas for DD before she was born). Then off to a home decor store to buy decor for the newly renovated bathroom. Then back home to set up the crib, hang up lights, and work on stuff.
It was a chaotic weekend....now back to work for another chaotic week. YAY!

I have a feeling the same thing will happen tomorrow. I work 9-7 and at our vet clinic we need to see at least 23 pets a day to break even and pay salaries. We have 9 on the books.... we're usually crazy busy, I have no idea what's going on... graduation season maybe???

At my clinic, pets usually hit the back burner for appointments in summer. We normally do more boarding then anything. At the end of summer, right before school we have a big rush then nothing when school starts and another rush before the holidays.

We went to WV last night!
