27w2d; due 9/1

Friday I have an OB appt and glucose test.

3) how are you feeling? Any raves, concerns, or gripes?
I had another bleeding episode on Friday and had to have an ultrasound to make sure everything was ok. Fortunately my cervical length is staying stable and the placenta has moved further away from the cervix. Unfortunately there really isn't an explanation for my bleeding, so I just have to be on watch for it happening again or any other concerning symptoms like cramping or contractions. Aside from that, I've been feeling pretty well.

4) GTKY: Favorite type of dessert?
I have a major sweet tooth and love to bake so I have sooo many favorites! At the top of the list: rhubarb pie, pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting, molasses cookies.

2) any appointments this week? I'm doing my glucose test hopefully tomorrow, and my rhogam shot (ugh!) on friday. OB has already prepped me for the high possibility of failing the 1hr (and 3hr). (twins increases your chances of GD) I passed the 1hr with all of my pgs, so I'm hopeful there'll be no issues.

3) how are you feeling? Any raves, concerns, or gripes? I had an ultrasound & OB appt last Fri. Ultrasound went great and babies were measuring one day apart. They looked perfect and I'm feeling really blessed that we haven't had any concerns about them this whole pregnancy. I also measured 33 weeks. I seriously feel like my skin can't stretch anymore. For my part, I am just so tired. All. The. Time. DH and our two oldest went camping for the weekend so I was home with our 3 yr old and bedtime with her has become brutal. She will not go to sleep and it's driving me crazy (and further wearing me out) b/c she's so tired. We really need to get this straightened out before these babies come.

4) GTKY: Favorite type of dessert? There are so many I love, but right now I'm feeling for a warm, gooey brownie with vanilla ice cream on top. I've been trying really hard to be good sweets-wise this pregnancy so I don't end up any bigger than I already will be with two in there as I'm not nearly as active as previous pgs.

Heartburn is getting worse everyday. I made need to switch from tums to Zantac. Having trouble sleeping - partially due to pregnancy insomnia, partially due to my husband's snoring.

4) GTKY: Favorite type of dessert?
Anything with chocolate and/or frosting

@mamaofthegarden I've had major heartburn issues this pregnancy and I'm on prescription pepcid - but it's the same stuff you can purchase otc. Maximum strength, the kind you swallow, not chew. It's stronger than zantac if you need something stronger. Zantac didn't work for me. I need to take the pepcid 2x a day plus tums to keep the heartburn at bay.

@daisy62103 thanks for the tip....extra strength Zantac worked for me my last 2 pregnancies so I'm going to give that a try first!

1) how far along are you? 23 weeks and 5 days
EDD? 9/27

2) any appointments this week? Friday: Glucose Screening 1 hour, Monthly Dr Appointment, and a Vet visit for my dog too (just doing a well dog visit)

3) how are you feeling? Any raves, concerns, or gripes? Still working to get over a cold. I also seem to have taken on gagging/puking in the AM based on too much freaking mucas going on in my head and throat. Also a fair share of heartburn. Could use a nap

4) GTKY: Favorite type of dessert? Pretty much all kinds are my favorite...is it sweet? Then I probably like it. I also like things that add fruit...even if its just on the side of a dessert.
