odds of NOT having a miscarriage

I don't know about y'all, but PGAL brain keeps pushing anxious thoughts and I find this slightly reassuring. I've seen this on other BMB's so figured I'd share it here!

I love this! It's so reassuring to see that a week from now, the chances will go down another 10%. Thank you for posting this!

With only minor symptoms going on, the fear of getting to our first appointment and not hearing a heartbeat has been my worst fear, this helps relax those fears some!

I wish that I could calm my nerves but I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks in February.

Same here @sammiev24 -- missed miscarriage at 10 weeks in October. I don't know if I'll be able to shake the anxiety this go around. Just know you're not alone

Its nice to see that, but a mmc is what terrifies me. The only thing that sort of keeps that thought calm-ish is that our IF troubles were getting pg (my eggs/ovulation), not staying pg.

but thanks for posting that!

...I know some people think it makes it worse, but my at home doppler was a god send for me and reassuring my fears re: MMC. Obviously this early, it is of no use, but around 9-10 weeks it worked so well! It took a while to get used to it, but OH MY was that a god send. **TW** My biggest fear is a blighted ovum... I just can't shake it and wasn't able to with DD either. That you'll go in for the first scan and see an empty sac. I think about it ALL THE TIME. **

@EmilyLove25 my Doppler gives me peace too! I need to find it in the next few weeks or so.

@EmilyLove25, I wanted an at-home doppler with DD, but DH put the nix on that! He kept telling me, "It's a great idea...but I know you. If there's ever a time when you can't find the heartbeat, you would lose your freaking mind." He's most definitely right. If we didn't have so many expenses with Baby #1, I probably would have gotten one anyways. Now that we're good on baby gear, I'll probably buy one this time around!

@Eags @EmilyLove25 Hi Ladies- What brand of doppler do you have? I have had a couple of miscarriages where we saw the heartbeat, and then at a few weeks later at a follow up ultrasound, we no longer saw it. I think it would totally ease my mind to have one so I could monitor it on my own!

@dani4est it's the one that everyone recommended when I was on the J13 board. I think it's the Sonoline B.

I bought a Doppler with my 1st, I would buy it 100 more times if I had to, it was such a lifesaver
• Options

@dani4est it is the Sonoline B and I would say for you and @cyanope be warned that it takes a while to figure out and if you are prone to anxiety know that you may not reliably find it every time until 12+ weeks. Rest assured I'll be driving myself mad trying at 9 weeks. And also make sure you have time when you use it. If you are rushed it will stress you out! I love mine!

I needed this today. Yesterday we got to see our LO's heartbeat and I cried tears of joy. Then today I got a call from our midwife that my progesterone was low and I just lost it. PGAL brain set in strong. Midwife called in a script. I'm 6 weeks today. Just praying.

@CANTW82BMOM - T&P coming your way.  FX it's just a false alarm and nothing's wrong.

This lines up perfectly with what my RE told me.  She's religiously stated that ones you hear that heartbeat that 90% of pregnancies continue normally

How much did everyone pay for there's? This says on sale for \$40?! Originally \$250? Is this right?

I haven't ordered one yet but, from my understanding, \$40 is the regular price for the sonoline b.

I really hope this does help many of you feel better / relaxed.  But I'm afraid I'll worry about this pregnancy probably right up until I deliver... my last pregnancy was perfectly normal and healthy, we had a strong heart beat at 6 weeks, at 10 weeks I miscarried with no explanation of why... it's sadly very common something too many of us have to go through.  I wish you all well and healthy safe pregnancies and births ! I'm due in December, but lingering around because our boards are not very active with information I feel to be useful. I like seeing the link, but I am in the same boat as a few others, and had a MMC @ 11 weeks in April of 2016. We still haven't told me our families that we are expecting.

Thanks for posting this!  I'm still a hesitant to breathe and relax with this pregnancy since my last pregnancy in January was a MMC.  I found out I had a blighted ovum at 12 weeks.  It took me awhile to see a doctor due to switching health insurance.  ~**TW**~ It was very traumatizing to go in and see an empty sac and told that I had a nonviable pregnancy.  At the time, I had ALL the pregnancy symptoms: nausea and vomitting, sore boobs, fatigue, you name it so it was a sad surprise for me. ~**TW- END**~

This time around, I saw baby at 6 weeks and 7 weeks and both times, I saw my little guppy's heart beating.  It's much better seeing something this time, but I'm still always anxious and nervous about another loss.  I'm praying for a healthy pregnancy.

My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage around 9 weeks. Then I had my beautiful little girl. This pregnancy, I had what my doctor called a "threatened miscarriage". Now I'm walking on eggshells, but trying to stay hopeful and optimistic that this little one will make it. I'm 9 weeks now, and this post was exactly what I needed to see. Thank you!

@jjvanwagner25 I got the Sonoline B directly from their website (want to say roughly \$50?) and it has a 1 year warranty. Was delivered very quickly too!

I hope you recovered from this.
I wonder what happened after this? Did you use any doppler? If yes, which model/brand did you use?
Did anyone use Neeva Baby
