4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why? Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love buying gifts for people and seeing their faces when they get something they really wanted/needed or just unexpected. Love all the family time.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why? Groundhog Day! I make cookies and everything. I love it. Plus it's fairly unique to my family and area.

Man I've missed you girls!!! I try not to Bump on the weekends, but I'm thinking three days away was too much

2. Status? TWW, but not much hope for this cycle.

3. R/R? Rave - DD went ALL WEEKEND without having a potty accident!!! We sent her to school in big girl panties today. I'm probably more nervous than I should be...
Rant - On Saturday DH and I pulled up some plants that didn't make it, and went to the store to get some new ones to plant on Sunday. Sunday and Monday it rained. I'm pretty sure mother nature does not want us to ever finish our landscaping. At least I got my porch plants re-potted in fresh soil in the garage, so they look nice again.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why? Christmas is my absolute favorite, for the obvious reason of spending so much time with family. But Independence Day is a close second. I've spent July 4th with the same best friend and his family every year since I was four years old. Sometimes we're in the mountains, sometimes we're at the lake, and sometimes we're just at his grandparent's pool, but we're always together.

3. Rant: my nurse wanted me to take burth control after af up until my surgery to keep my lining thin. I can't take bc as I will vomit all day every day. I told her this and she mentioned a work around. I don't not want to wait another cycle to have this surgery. I have already waited about 6 weeks. DH and I have both taken time off work/rearranged our schedules etc. I'm worried about what she is going to say. Any others been in this situation?

4. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I just love it. I love decorating, baking, and watching Christmas movies. But I also love the summer and really look forward to camping and swimming. I soooo wish I had summers off!

4th cycle AL, TWW, AF Due this weekend and I'm thinking I'm already out. I know the drill now. Spotting will start probably Friday and AF will come full swing Sunday.

I'm tired from the weekend. Friday we spent an entire day at an amusement park, Saturday we went out for my bday, Sunday DD had a play date over, Monday we saw Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm feeling it today but I need to clean and catch up on things while DD is at my moms all day. Must detox and go to yoga tonight.

my favorite holiday is my birthday. I'd say I love xmas but it's always so stressfull for me trying to decorate, shop, and bake all in a short amount of time. Thinking I may do my xmas shopping in October of this year just to lighten the load.

3. R/R? My periods since the mc have been weird. They'll start and be normal for 2-3 days then stop for a day and start up again, and it's annoying me so I made an appt for Thursday to see the ob and find out wtf is happening.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why? It's always been Christmas. I love the decorations, the music and the feeling of happiness in the air. Unfortunately my mc happened Christmas morning last year, so we'll see how it goes this year.

@pumpkin0913 thanks for the bday wishes. My AF is different this time too. I have never spotted before but had a day of spotting then two heavy days. I have nothing today. We will see what tomorrow brings.

Thanks @pumpkin0913 - my loss happened the week of new years or actually that's when I found out about it but the bleeding was the week after even though I was spotting for a good couple weeks prior. I remember christmas morning we were all happy because my numbers had doubled. blah! Hopefully I'll be expecting by this christmas.

@Mack2342 - I just started saving $25 a week for our christmas shopping. we rely on everyone doing a list so it makes shopping much easier. Thinking I will request lists this year in October.

2. Status - TWW - I'm guessing 5dpo

3. R/R - I don't even know. Feeling like I'm on a treadmill lately. Last week was tough with daughter's surgery. Today I'm EXHAUSTED! Have so much to do to finish up this quarter. Is it June 12 yet?

4. GTKY - we have a made up holiday with DH's side of the family called Turducken Fest - it falls on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Its a blast! It has evolved over the past 10 years as DH's siblings and cousins have all had kids. I think we are up to 10 kids now. So fun.

@dpjennifer - My BIL is from Puxatawney! So Groundhog Day is big with us too - SIL makes cookies every year too

@Mack2342 - sorry you are WTO again. Are you doing a medicated cycle again? And Happy Belated birthday!

@tlq0726 - Hooray for no accidents! Such a great milestone. Hope she does great at school today.

@MooFish2364 - I think I'm a fossil too. yuck. I don't have any experience with keeping lining thin - that sounds frustrating.. hope it works out!

@vlagrl29 - glad you had a good bday weekend. I still really want to see Guardians of the Galaxy!

@pumpkin0913 - I've been pregnant and feeling like CRAP the last 2 christmases so its not my favorite these days.

2. WTO CD6. I'll be in Chicago during at least 1/2 of FW this month, so unless those suckers can fly.....what are ya gonna do, really?
3. Meh. Seems to be a lighter patient day which is nice for a change. Must have been the holiday weekend....
4. Thanksgiving, 'cause I'm lazy. Eat and no presents

. I usually bake something and go to someone else's place....

As for the "fossil" thing I LOL'd....just imaging dust blowing off our uteruses ha ha ha....

@ladipale How did the surgery go? I hope all is well with your DD, and the trip wasn’t too traumatic for you.

@amberruka I’m lazy about Thanksgiving too. DH has 4 older sisters, so one of them will usually do Thanksgiving at their house. I bring dinner rolls And my parents are divorced, so we actually get THREE Thanksgivings. Not gonna lie, it’s pretty awesome.

2. Benched but man it's hard not to just give it a go. OB said to wait 2 cycles, I'm just past 1 cycle and ready to start again
3. Ok this is probably TMI but figured maybe some of you ladies might understand. I've had one AF since my mc in April. Since AF I've had a sort of pressure feeling down there, almost feels more externally than internally. And was intimate for the first time the other night (poor BF but I just haven't felt ready) and had a much more intense o than normal, it's all kind of weird. I feel like it's my body saying 'get to it woman, let's get this show on the road'

4. Christmas Eve. BF's family is European so we'll often have a big dinner on Christmas Eve, then visit with friends and another big dinner on Christmas Day. I used to think we had to choose between the two days but now I love celebrating both days

@dpjennifer - I can't think of Groundhog Day without thinking of the movie and
that movie drives me bonkers!!

@ladipale LOVE turducken!! Great idea to make that a separate holiday. My bday usually falls on Thanksgiving (in October here in Canada) so I end up with Turkey and pumpkin pie on my birthday.

2. Status? Uterus still has a "vacancy" sign on it. 4DPO using TB lingo : ) Blood work confirmed that I ovulated. Started estrogen again tonight to prep for IVF attempt #2
3. R/R? Eh. I'm going to take this IVF journey day by day. I confided in the teacher who's classroom is next to my office. I know she had her DD through IVF. She told me she is doing a frozen embryo transplant in June last week. I couldn't share with her because my intern was right there. I did find some time last week to share with her my story. She is super supportive and said she will be my person to go to. We go to the same clinic and have the same RE too. I told her about the mc last fall. She sincerely looked me in the eye and said
"I can't even tell you how that would feel" I loved how she expressed herself without telling me things like, "just relax" or "everything happens for a reason."
4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why?
I don't really have a fave holiday. As you can see in my WTF, my family is pretty F ed up. Holidays are no different. I do really enjoy Christmas but hate the stress of getting presents. I really love Thanksgiving because of food. I especially love the dark meat on the Turkey. Yum. I fantasize about creating holiday traditions with my fantasy children.

Rave:Had a fun anniversary dinner with DH over the weekend and then took our boat out yesterday since the weather was so nice!

Rant: a person I work for sent me a text at 630 am this morning. Not happy!

4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why? There is something about Memorial day, the unofficial start to summer! My birthday is usually around Memorial Day and my anniversary too. I love remembering it from when I was a kid with neighborhood get togethers and parades. Just makes me smile, I love nostalgia.

@ladipale I'm glad someone else makes cookies! It's awesome to take them to work and celebrate what seems like such a random holiday.

@SP128 We got our cookie cutters in Punxsutawney, but you used to be able to get them on Groundhog.org. I'm sure they have them on amazon/ebay also. Super fun holiday to surprise people with cookies! They also have a special 'free' Spicy Groundhog Cookie recipe that's like a gingersnap.

@vlagrl29 I hope they fix that mess of an OB situation you have! Ugh. Sorry you're dealing with all that crap on top of everything else. What a PIA.

2. Status? 20 dpo. I have labs 21 tomorrow so I'm considering myself wto until I get lab results.
3. R/R?
Probably being a brat but whatever. This gal at my school is 23 and just got married in July....last July. Anywho she decided to TTC in December...and is complaining that it's taking to long. At lunch I mentioned if no go this month I'm going to try acupuncture. She said " I totally understand what you're going through" um no. Stop right there.
4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why
I actually don't like holidays. They give me anxiety..it always turns into this big negative ordeal. And my family lives in TX I'm in WA...so we always spend holidays with the in laws who I can't stand.
Ok that was two rants.

1. Introduce yourself: Newer (1 MMC/D&C, 2CPs)
2. Status? Well the initial testing came back and I can't decide if it's good or bad. All the blood tests came back normal, a few are still pending, but I'm permanently benched until I have surgery to correct my probable septate uterus. Basically I have an extremely high risk of miscarriage throughout an entire pregnancy due to decreased blood flow. Not sure that I could knowingly sign myself up for the potential for a late term loss or the 40 week worry that today could be the day. Initial consult at the infertility clinic in a few weeks. I've been really quiet on the boards because I was hoping it was an easy fix...
3. R/R? Rants this week, sorry. I can't understand why the septate uterus wasn't caught on the *TW*[ million early ultrasounds I had with my son, during my c-section, during the ultrasound for my miscarriage, during my d&c or the fact that I had tell tale signs of this (1st trimester bleeding and breech baby).]Had I known I could have already dealt with it proactively. WTF!
4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why? I know it isn't a holiday per-se, but I love Fall! I celebrate it for at least 2 months like it is a holiday haha

@msstephanielynn - Mixed feelings on your test results seem totally normally - I'm glad they found something and hopeful that surgery to fix will be your magic ticket. Its hard to have something that needs fixing but sometimes I wish they would find something on me to fix.... I get it.

@msstephanielynn our stories sound similar except I have a fibroid. All of our tests have come back normal, including some specific chromosomal tests. It was a relief but still didn't tell us why we just can't get pregnant. I had multiple vaginal u/s when I was having severe period cramps. Then I had a million during my misses lol miscarriage and nothing. Then I had a HSG and nothing. They didn't see it until my RE did a 3D u/s. You would think it would have shown up somewhere before. Unless I got it after my m/c. Who knows. So now we are benched too until after my surgery and not sure how long after that. I think he said 2 months.

@ladipale I felt the same way going into the visit for the test results. If it's nothing, that's good news, but bad because then there's nothing to do. And if it's bad, than that means there is something wrong, but then need to fix it. Sucks either way

@moofish2364 I think I remember that you were due to have the surgery soon? It really baffles me that it took this long to find it - same OB and everything! Are you having the hysteroscopy and laparoscopy for the fibroid as well or is it a different procedure?

@msstephanielynn he is doing the hysteroscopy for my fibroid and the laproscopy for my tubes. I had a clear HSG but he said that the dye didn't flow out as much or as quickly as he would have liked. He didn't do the procedure so it's either they didn't use enough dye, didn't push it through hard enough, or that its fine and there's nothing wrong. He just wants to check while I'm already having surgery. Which is fine by me even though it means I'll have surgery scars. If it works it will be worth it. I'm having it done next Monday.

WTO, CD 10. Still getting positives on the pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, so not sure what's going on yet.

3. R/R?
My bleeding had actually stopped, but then I had an orgasm today and it immediately started, bright red blood. Not sure what's going on! I think I have some sort of damage that I need to heal and will put myself on pelvic rest.

4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why?
Christmas! Don't have a great reason, I just love the season.

The atmosphere, decorations, the food, music, weather, movies, etc.

msstephanielynn Well I’m glad they found something, and that hopefully correcting it will allow you to have your rainbow baby! But, yeah, that is a total biotche that you’ve had all those signs and ultrasounds and whatnot and nobody caught it. Grrr! But fingers crossed this will get you a live birth!

captainfoxtrot If you’re into something more hippy-dippy my friend gave me some raspberry leaf tea (she made it herself from tons of herbs and everything) and it’s supposed to help strengthen your uterus and whatnot. Maybe it would help you with the bleeding? I mean, raspberry leaf tea only really has good health benefits, so it’s not really a big deal to drink it even if it doesn’t help the specific thing you’re hoping for…

@Mack2342 interesting. I'm on 100 mg 2 tablets once a day. I wonder if essentially it is the same dose. Do you only take femara CD 5-9?
I go in Monday to see if I ovulated. If not I have to move up a dose.

@Chawk17 I start on CD 3 and take for 5 days then I will go for ultrasound on the 8th to see how many follicles there are. I have no idea about the difference in the dosage

1. Not new. But for newbies- first pregnancy, first loss end of March. TTC since.
2. CD 4
3. R/R? Nothing is working in lab this week. Failures all around. I'm super frustrated. On the upside- I have a three day weekend and good friends visiting so I'm looking forward to the weekend.
4. GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and why? I've always loved Halloween. It's something about the feeling of fall. It's been ruined a bit now- my EDD was Oct 31st... so I think I'll never feel the same about it again. My second favorite holiday is thanksgiving- DH and I love to cook and host and I love that it's a holiday about being with friends and family and there is little religious or commercial expectations.

It sounds like everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. For those who's wasnt so great- I'm sorry.

@ladipale turducken fest sounds amazing! Every year DH talkes about doing one but we haven't yet.
