scared baby is coming early

I am starting to worry, baby will be here sooner then any of us expected. Each pregnancy I have had I have delivered earlier and earlier. (first at 37, second at 36, third was a stillbirth at 32, fourth at 35 weeks). I have been on meds to stop the contractions for about two weeks but they are pushing through even when taking a double dose. I will be 29 weeks tomorrow and Tuesday is the three year anniversary of my sons death, so much anxiety right now! Next step will be to be hospitalized on iv meds to hold of labor which I had to have with my last and it was so awful. Please if anyone else is going through this or has positive vibes to send TIA.

Good luck with everything - each week that pass I'm sure really helps. We've had a few ladies on the PAIF who have experiences similar to this or shortened/non existent cervix this early and all have come home with beautiful healthy babies. It's ok to worry, just don't make yourself sick over it - you're anxiety is understandable! Keep talking to those doctors about what's happening and your feelings!

Best of luck to you. Are you on progesterone shots s as well? I've been on them this pregnancy as well as my 2nd pregnancy because my first came early. I have anxiety a lot about my water breaking early. How often are you being monitored?

Sorry, I meant to respond sooner but we got away for a few days just as a family to celebrate what would have been my angels 3rd birthday. Baby is staying put as of now. Trying to adjust my meds for contractions and find a happy medium where I am not horribly sick and and can function but the contractions are at least ten minutes apart. Monday I will be 30 weeks and our big goal is 32 weeks. Just trying to take it one day at a time....first goal was 24 weeks and then 28 and slowly but surely we are making it through each day.
