I'll start. Every time I have an apt a part of me hopes that the doc says well head on over to L&D let's get this baby out. I know I still have 2 weeks and realize things would work much better logistically if she was late but the excitement gets me every time.

Um, me too. And I have 4 weeks left... and like you logistically and financially, it would actually be better if she were late (not have to pay insurance until August, yes please) but I the excitement gets me too!

I feel the same way. Though I know things will go much smoother if she comes on time. Kids will be out of school and things should be easier to manage. However I'm super excited to meet the little miss! I can't wait to see how my son does as a big brother.
I would love it if the baby came early. I think she might because I've believed since almost the beginning, based on several reasons, that my due date is late by 4-7 days. And at my last appointment this week, my midwife said she doesn't want to get my hopes up, but she thinks the baby might come early too based on how I've been measuring large for most of my pregnancy.
@lovesclimbing I think my due date is late, too - by close to a week. My EDD based on LMP is June 7th, but the dating utrasound moved me back 6 days. At my AS I was measuring for the 7th again and I am measuring large (something women in my family do NOT do). I still tell everyone the date on my chart though; if I go before the 13th then they'll just think he's early.

My dating ultrasound showed me 3 or 4 days farther along than I thought I was (I don't remember which), but they said they don't adjust based on that unless it's more than ... either 5 or 6 days off. But then, they adjusted my due date forwards four days, in other words saying I'm not as far along as I thought I was based on me having longer cycles than the 28-day average. It just seemed wonky to me. Because if my appointments had been reversed, if I'd had the regular appointment first and had my due date adjusted later based on my cycle, and then had the dating ultrasound, my due date would have been adjusted earlier based on the dating ultrasound because it then would have been off by more than 5 or 6 days.

Wow, that's very odd and confusing! I had two dating ultrasounds because this pregnancy was so soon after DS and my cycles weren't regulated yet. The first one was just an ultrasound and gave me the EDD of 6/7 (lining up perfectly with my LMP based on a normal cycle). The second (one week later) was the "official" one with my first appointment and gave me the EDD of 6/13. So basically a week later he had only grown 1 day's worth? It didn't/doesn't make any sense. One of the techs had to have measured wrong.
So, I know that what I about to say is completely flame worthy and bratty. I want people to stop getting this baby presents. I have finished my registry, so all I am getting is baby clothes, most super tiny, so we will use them for about a second. I don't need the clothes and I am soooo sick of writing thank you notes. I feel like a total b!tch.

OMG thank you for saying that @kahlan82!!! I'm feeling the same way! And the blankets?!?! I'm sorry, I love the soft blankets too but we are overloaded!
@kahlan82 nobody bought anything from my registery. I got a bunch of stuff I didn't necessarily want but that's ok. A couple of my girlfriends did ask what I really needed.... I got 10 cans of formula at my baby shower!
We got so much clothes and blankets and stuff for our first, I felt the same way! I took some newborn clothes back and exchanged for bigger sizes. In my circle it is tradition that every baby gets a shower and everyone thinks it's so weird I don't want one. But honestly we still have all of our stuff and we do not need anymore. Our shed is full of baby stuff!!
I had 5 bags of all size baby girl clothes given to me. Had been purchasing stuff since I was 14 weeks and found out it was a girl. I told people I mainly needed diapers, baby wash and wipes since we still had a lot of stuff from my son. I still ended up with a bunch of small baby girls clothes. I appreciate everyone's generosity but it sure would have been nice if it was stuff I needed.
My FFFC is I keep getting really intense stomach cramps here and there tonight... and it JUST occurred to me that it's contractions and not cramps. How does one forget they're pregnant in month NINE?! I don't know if it is pregnancy brain or the blonde sinking in!
Yea, I wish people would have bought us fewer clothes and blankets and such and went together on, say, the ergo or something like that. Of course, I would never say that to them.
I had some pregnancy brain today too @EmeraldNC. I changed into my pajamas and realized halfway through the house I forgot to put on a shirt- and also forgot to turn on the dryer when I was doing laundry.
