Hi ladies, another week has passed, hope you're all feeling ok?
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
2. How are you feeling?
3. Any appointments this week?
4. Rants, raves, questions?
5. GTKY: What song have you been listening to/singing on repeat lately?
Re: Thursday ticker change - 5/25
2. Feeling good this week, got a bit more energy during the day now, but still incredibly tired in the evening.
3. Had my first appointment yesterday with my midwife, just to start paperwork and take bloods etc.
4. Annoyed with my boss this week, told her I was pregnant as in my job I have to do quite alot of moving and handling. She didn't even congratulate me, was just as if it was a complete burden on them. Not the response I was hoping for as my bosses are normally lovely :-(
5. Hate to admit it but I've been listening to Justin Bieber - Despacito. Loving it at the moment
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 12 weeks! Almost done with first tri, thank goodness. I think it said plum.

Mostly good, some headaches (they feel like hormonal+stress headaches) that are not fun. Definitely little upticks in energy, but still pretty friggin tired. I used to be solid with 7-7.5. Now I definitely need 8-9 hours.
NT Scan tomorrow!
I got really anxious Monday morning and ordered a home doppler with rush shipping and got it last night. After a very frustrating first try, then watching approximately 25 youtube videos from 12 weekers, I was able to find it after I laid all the way flat and had a full bladder. It sounded like a washing machine and I was just, laughing with happiness and gratitude for a while.
I'm a FTM and it was higher than I expected. Like an inch above my hair line and pointed mostly straight toward my back. I was doing it wrong at first because everyone says they're so low down this early and I was pointing it into my pelvis and hearing nothing. But maybe I'm not so early anymore?

Better - still tired but not so much nausea. Thank god.
Had an U/S yesterday (first at my normal OB office after graduating from my RE)
RANT: Ugh, so I was 10w6d at my U/S yesterday and the tech said, let's just go ahead and do the NT scan now. Well, my NT measurements are on the high side (like 3.4mm). Oh and after this happened and I was waiting for my doctor, I was told she had to step out of the office and would call me "soon" to discuss the u/s. I know I'm not supposed to worry until the NIPT blood work comes back (they said like a week) but I'm still freaking out. This (she) is an IVF baby who was also PGS tested (tests for chromosomal abnormalities before IVF transfer back in) so the chance of Down Syndrome would be like nil (since that was tested for) but still worried that their could be heart issues (and unnecessarily paranoid that the PGS testing wasn't accurate). If anyone has good outcomes after a abnormal NT measurement, hit me up please.
@tamalahoops and @whiska its sucks when our bosses act like this, it's meant to be an exciting time for us ladies, not worrying how work are going to react.
With my first child two years ago, he was only 3 weeks old and my boss was already ringing me asking if I could come back and help out at weekends. I couldn't believe it, thought they were ringing to see how I was lol. Obviously I refused, especially as I was breastfeeding and my ds was attached to me what felt like 24 hrs a day. There shouldn't be so much pressure on us mums.
Also.. mobile bumping sucks. The last few times I've tried to post it's randomly cut off my response halfway through. So apologies if you see me commenting and not making sense. It did at one point, promise.

@whiska glad the home doppler worked out! Hope your NT scan went well!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
11 weeks--lime!
Nope--I have my NT scan in two weeks.
My motivation and concentration at work as taken a nosedive over the last couple of weeks. I'm usually very productive and focused, and I hope things will get back to normal in the second tri. I plan to be an SAHM after LO arrives, and for now, I'm just looking forward to be done!
Nothing really comes to mind!
