This week is going too slow and I don't feel like working today! The weather is still crappy, I'm tired, in a bad mood, and it doesn't help that I started feeling super sick halfway through my lunch.
Also, Im watching those short videos for recipes on facebook like its porn. What are you going to do with that butter? Oh, youre going to rub it all over that glass pan? Yeah, thats nice, grab those crescents and roll them out flat. Dont forget those peaches! drool drool drool
@miranda21037, those videos are always so hypnotizing, like you can't look away. And for some reason my mind just started playing "that's what I like, that's what I like"
Yeah I'm starting to think maybe I'll take the rest of the afternoon off. I just can't focus on anything right now and all I want to do is sleep. If nothing is getting done anyway, I may as well be doing nothing in the comfort of my bed.
I signed us up for Blue Apron yesterday. I'm excited to feel like a gourmet chef but I'm not excited to potentially waste expensive food on my picky toddler.
PSA...just downloaded the BabyName app (which I discovered while lurking the Dec. board), and it is already so much fun. It's basically Tinder for baby names. Swipe right if you like it, swipe left if you don't. You send an invitation request to SO, so they start swiping too. If you both swipe right, it goes in the "match" section. I've only had it for an hour, and we already have 8 matches on "Boy" names! This is a miracle since DH literally says, "no" to everything I say. Plus, I love that he downloaded it immediately and started swiping!
@cyanope - I have BabyName, too! I heard about it on a podcast months ago and we've been playing around with it since then. We're already pretty sure we have a boy and girl name picked out but it's been fun to see what matches.
@cyanope haha I felt like a creeper stalking the December board, glad Im not he only one! Thanks for the info, I will have to check that app out. Husband says no to my name suggestions and the ones he suggests I seriously think he must be effing with me they are that bad.
@cyanope we used that when I was pregnant with DD. Love that app! We're definitely using it again because I now hate all the names we came up with last time.

Also he is vetoing names he said he liked months ago when we were just talking about names we liked. When I brought it up the other day he said "No way!". I keep telling him I am just going to name the baby when he leaves the room!
Girls that is a lifesaver!!! I am downloading it now and keeping my fingers crossed that he will too...we have the same problem, he hates everything I throw out there and his are just ridiculous!!

We picked names when we first started trying and now that I'm actually pregnant, he changes his mind and wants to relook at names. I will find this app! I felt like I got a lot done today at work. Had my first real nausea attack but had some crackers to smooth it out. Just when I started feeling better, got cramps and now I've got about an hour and a bit until I'm home and I'm already hungry! Hating this long commute!
Oh my gosh that app sounds awesome! I will definitely be downloading today. My DH is stuck on naming baby after our siblings, but his sister doesn't even have a middle name, so there is not a lot to play with. Plus, I feel like it gets really confusing when everyone has the same name. I have already decided the only acceptable combo of our sibs' names is Patrick Robert and I will only use it if we can call the baby "Trick." I am thinking he is going to say no to that - he is super conservative and I am super not - lol. This app will be a great help!

I know it's late May but I am still not ready for the heat. It was 104 today and it was miserable just driving In the car. I'll pray for a mild summer, hopefully we will not go over 110.
@burnsmommy27 sounds like our weather today... 102' and windy. Plus DS loves playing outside no matter how hot it is. I have no shame and totally sat in the kiddie pool earlier.
