Babies: 9 - 12 Months

how much time in the jumperoo?

In her other toys, DD gets overstimulated pretty quickly, so we usually don't leave her in anything longer than 20 minutes or so.  but she loves the crap out of the jumperoo and will jump and jump and jump.  i keep a pillow under her feet so she's flat footed all the time.  I just hate to pull her out when she's having so much fun.  :(

oh, and we're home today, possibly with croup.  another baby in her room at daycare had it last week.  she's fine, no fever or anything and in a good mood, but will break out with a hacking dry cough every 20 minutes or so.  waiting on pedi to call back with an appt or a keep doing what you're doing.  that+teething and I decided my baby was going to stay home and get tons of love from mama.

  • I didn't know there was a "rule."  DD loved her jumperoo so much, that sometimes she would stay in it for 1-2 hours at a time!  Sometimes I felt guilty for letting her stay in that long, but she loved it, so why would I take her out?  The amount of time that they are able to stay in their jumperoo is not long, so I would say, let her stay in it because before you know it, she will want to be on the floor crawling around!!
