Hello! I am getting more and more excited as we enter into summer and all the delicious in season fruits and veggies! I bought three pints of local organic strawberries on Saturday! Oh and it is grilling season which means less clean up for me
Monday- Strip steaks on the grill with asparagus and a salad Tuesday- Chick Pea salad sandwiches with broccoli sprouts and sweet potato chips Wednesday- Lamb burgers with sauerkraut and asparagus ( might make a potato salad also) Thursday- Grilled chicken kabobs Friday- Crock pot lasagna with salad
We also splurged at the market this weekend! Among other things, I bought several pounds of tomatoes and a bunch of basil which I baked into a tomato gratin last night. It was delicious.
Sunday: Tomato Gratin, ricotta and summer squash frittata, sourdough rolls Monday: Chili Macaroni, green salad Tuesday: Mexican chopped salad with avocado dressing Wednesday: Spicy grilled pork chops with corn on the cob and zucchini Thursday: Tomato soup in the Crock-Pot, tuna melts Friday: Leftovers or out to dinner
Tacos tonight. Got lamb chops for some time later in the week, also got a turkey loin roast thing, some chicken, and some ribeyes for DH to grill. Going to do spaghetti at some point. I don't have a plan, kinda just let it roll.
