  • Those are good answers. Today I'm saying T.V.. I'm exhausted and using it to occupy DS
  • I consider my phone a necessity, so aside from that...my chapstick in the form of aquaphor.
    TW:
    1 infant loss
    8/17: Our daughter was born
8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass
2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old
    4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
  • Music. I definitely listen to music in some form everyday. Whether radio, my DD singing, me singing, on TV, etc.

  • I need someone to talk to everyday. I'm a verbal processor and I need to talk through things, whether good or bad.
  • I'm with @erindippity I'm very social and need interaction with someone outside of work (talking in person, on the phone, texting, etc) to feel sane

  • My car! Independence is crucial to me. Not looking forward to the couple of weeks of no driving after this c section again...
  • Just seeing my dogs everyday. Having all 4 of them cuddle in bed with me is perfect in the mornings. Plus they keep me active so that's a plus.

Oh, that's a good one! Crucial indeed.
  • Probably a book or music. I feel like I need something to keep me occupied to keep me sane.

  • listening to the radio in the mornings when I head to work :)
  • @DeansGirl14 I would usually say the same thing, (blonde/red hair, transparent eyelashes), but I totally walked out of the house today without putting any on!

I have to say cell phone too.  I have to use my phone to let me log into my work stuff, so I cant leave home without it.  I have before and had to drive back home to get it.

  • My Fitbit. Not necessarily for the fitness aspect, but I use it as a watch, and the weight of it missing if I forget it is awful!

  • I'm not sure how to answer.

I feel completely naked without my wedding ring. It's just so sentimental to me.
I also wear a medical id alert that I feel naked without. But I also listen to a lot of music too so I second that answer.

My phone is an extension of my body.
  • +1 for phone and chapstick and wedding rings. I had to switch to a fake ring from the random swelling I'm having (I got scared I wouldn't be able to take my real rings off without cutting them) and it makes me sad.

To add to the list, I'd say my DH. Cheesy, totally, but man I really love him and we just don't do well apart! ❤️ So thankful for him.
  • Carmex for sure, but a hair clip is also essential. Life without my phone would be miserable, but I think I could get used to it. Maybe.

I have this really comfy pillow that I can't sleep without.
  • Echoing chapstick. I'm also addicted to Orbit peppermint gum.

Ooooh, coffee! A must-have for me too! :)

The thought of going a day without coffee is terrifying. I am okay with even just a few sips, but I NEED those sips!

    DD#1: 5/29/12

    DD#2: 1/14/15

Baby #3 on the way due 8/19/17

  • I feel like mine is being skewed by the random 90+ day we are having today but I'm going to say central air lol. I'm a wuss when it comes to heat (I'm in SW Washington state so heat is not my thing). Besides that I would probably say my cell phone- communication, toddler entertainment, watch, map/gps all in one handy little device.

Mines lameo. My water bottle, I take it everywhere. If I forget the water bottle it's automatically a bad day.

  • mrsmatt1212 I'd have to say my DH too! We keep joking that we never got out of our honeymoon phase, and we're not sure we ever will! I have a M-F 8-5 job, but he has a weekly-random schedule and switches back and forth from day shifts to night shifts all the time. There are days when we don't see one another for an entire day, and he doesn't come home from work until 1am or 2am. Those days are the WORST!

Also addicted to lip balm. I have at least 1 in most rooms in our house, just in case of a lip-mergency...

Mascara is a close 2nd. I'm a natural redhead and you totally can't see my eyelashes without it - I always feel like I look 10x more tired than I actually am if I forget to wear it!
  • I would not make it through a day without Aquaphor used as chapstick and lotion.
Take whatever else but you will only pry my tube of Aquaphor out of my hands if you break my fingers first.

    Together: January 2002
    Married: May 2008
    Baby: August 2017

Clearly we like to rush along at lightning speed...
