Pretty boring weekend planned for us. DH has his contractor examination on Monday, so he'll be studying all weekend. And I need to make revisions on a manuscript that's due pretty soon. Fun stuff!
We have ZERO plans and it feels amazing!! The weather is gorgeous, everyone in my house is still sleeping and most importantly, the inlaws are gone!! Excited for a weekend of whatever we want!
No plans whatsoever as well, DH is working today and the weather is nice so ill maybe just go for a long walk with some music. Sunday is family day so we'll pay a visit to DH s parents for two or three hours like we usualy do.
No plans here either! I feel like it's the first weekend in a long time that we haven't had plans. Going to buy a new car seat and take advantage of the deal to get a free pack n play at Babies R Us.
My hubby is nesting or something so we are cleaning. I just put away all my clothes that don't fit me anymore and all I have left really is skirts and t-shirts, so I guess I picked the right time of year to be pregnant. Later today after laundry we plan to crash a kids bday party happening at his parents house to see if there's any good food to eat. No plans for tomorrow so hopefully sleep in and ice cream
My parents are down for a visit. We were going to have a BBQ and enjoy the beautiful weather...and then DS started barfing all over the place. Sooooo, we're disinfecting instead
Nothing huge here. Hubs is going to his last butchering class today (that class has been awesome...they cook what they butcher/make and he brings home the leftovers. He has a slab of pig waiting to be cured.). While he's away I'm gonna run to the store, do some chores around the house, putter around in the garden, etc. This will give my introvert side a chance to recharge. I spent more than enough time socializing this week. Yep, I'm the weirdo who'd rather stay home and do chores rather than go out and interact with other adults.
Tomorrow morning I'm "working" at the Children's Museum. I'm part of a program at the museum where they allow children on the spectrum to come to the museum an hour before opening for free and play while interacting with specialists who work with ASD kiddos (PT, OT, SLP, MT, ABA, etc). It's a fun program. Costco run after that since it's right down the street from the museum.

@jessirh it's a great program. I say it's "working" because it really doesn't feel like it. I get to play with these awesome kiddos for an hour, all the while giving the parents a chance to breathe and be okay in this space. Plus we get to give tips/pointers to the parents if we feel necessary.

Boring weekend, went to town, it rained and we were just going around, trying to find me some maternity pants! DH kept acting miserable so I wasn't a happy bunny either, I told him off for being ever so miserable all the time!! And we didn't even find the maternity pants either grrrrr! Need to buy them online now!!! :
Today I worked the desk st the girls dance studio, they performed at a Shop Local event and then had rehearsals. We're home now relaxing. Tomorrow, we're going to a local zoo for DD2s early birthday. We are going to the D.C. zoo next weekend on her birthday. The zoo we're going to tomorrow has giraffes , her favorite animal. The one in DC does not. She's spoiled and gets both for her birthday ( we would have just done this one next weekend but it is Brew at the Zoo , so crazy crowded and beer I can't drink).
@canonmom413. We live in VA and LOOOOVE the DC zoo (mostly because it's free and has pandas). I was very surprised the first time I went that they didn't have giraffes and hippos. I hope your kiddos enjoy!
@JessDG we go to D.C. Zoo every year for DD2s birthday. It's her tradition. We typically go on Memorial Day , but her b day fell on a Saturday this year so that's when we'll go they like D.C. better than the one closer to us because it has more things to do like the splash pad area and case painting etc.
@buttercream_frosting didnt even know what that was so i asked google. And : Besides the blisters, kids often have a fever for a few days and can get dehydrated because it hurts to swallow liquids. Symptoms usually clear up within a week and kids recover completely. So i hope it goes away within a week! *hugs*
@buttercream_frosting ugh I'm sending lots of hugs. We dealt with HFM last summer, first DD2 and then as soon as she was better, DS got it. They are no longer contagious after they stop developing new blisters and the current blisters begin to dry up. Usually right about a week. Fingers crossed he's better by the end of the week, which he most likely should
Aww @buttercream_frosting my friend and her whole family got HFM last summer but they were fine within a week of treatment.
I'm home with *no plans* this weekend and I'm loving it. Looking into buying a bathing suit before a pool party next weekend. Advice on where to get a maternity suit??
I have been working all weekend. I think I am going to sneak out of work a little early so I can take DS to the park, it's supposed to get super warm here today! Hope everyone is having a fun, relaxing weekend!
Check out ttgps weekend Randoms for more details. I'm not on that site so I just know what I've heard over there. Funny, though! Honestly, at some point if drama keeps following you around and you keep leaving sites, you gotta reflect on where the problem really is.
Oh wow! I was around for the big exodus and tried the new site, but didn't really get into it. Most of my BMB had moved to Facebook by that time and didn't go over, so I stopped following bith the bump and the new board. Although I have to say, it doesn't surprise me!
When your day was fun and games at the zoo, but you come home feeling like death- your ass in in bed at 7pm. I'm fairly certain my allergies went haywire while there, and all of the sneezing (and snissing) caused me to have a major migraine. Tylenol is doing nothing for it. Dh is amazing and told me to snuggle up in bed and he'll get kids in bed. He's pretty amazing.
My weekend has been pretty quiet. I went walking with my mom yesterday morning, and we had dinner with H's parents to discuss their helping us with a down payment for a house. This morning we had church, and this evening we have youth group.
We went to Disneyland this weekend. Terrrrrible idea. It was in the 90s and super crowded. The Disneyland side was actually at capacity for awhile and they weren't letting anyone else in. I didn't even know that was possible! Just walking (not carrying any kids or pushing the stroller) my heart rate was constantly up in the 130s-140s. DH kept asking why my heart rate was so high... ummm, a bajillion degrees and growing two humans maybe?
@TallMomma29 ugh! We were there Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and I thought it was crowded then but I heard it just got worse. At least we had cooler temps. Wednesday was a grad night and I'm pretty sure a million 18 year olds at disney is the worst idea ever.
@purplestarz I heard they had another one this weekend, and some kind of band competition. Sooooo many high school kids! The popular rides had 2-4 hour waits!
It was 94 on Saturday... we're used to 70s in San Diego so it was extra rough on us weaklings! DD2 was not impressed.
Thanks for the well wishes @bluejeanbabi05 and @Brambles23 ! I woke up with the lingering headache. It's raining today so I'm wondering if it's an air pressure thing too?! Either way, I'll try one more dose of ES Tylenol. If that doesn't work I'll call my OB. I am a migraine sufferer but have been pretty lucky so far this pregnancy. This is my first bad headache since early winter.

I need to go grocery shopping but it's like 90+ degrees so I'll probably go swimming and order a pizza.
