I'm planning on wearing maxi skirts with no underwear this weekend so my beautiful yeast infection can breathe. I'm starting to see why people go commando. Don't think I could do it wearing pants, though.
I left work early yesterday becuase I was feeling super hot, like the worlds longest hot flash. I left with every intention to do more work when I got home, but the AC and comfort of my own home, I took a nap instead. I was logged on, so my co-workers thought I was working . . . I truly dont care, and I felt so much better after my nap.

@lewliv that's me exactly. Sometimes if I have something really good, I'll type it in the notes in my phone...but then I look back a few days later and feel like, "Is this what my life has come to?"
Also, in the spirit of FFFC, I guess I could mention that my child stuck a piece of poop in her mouth like a month ago. I can barely bring myself to type it out, even a month later. Mom of the year. How the heck am I going to manage 2 under 15 months.
I had a large iced coffee this morning. It was like 32 ozs. Not sure how much caffeine it actually had, but it was definitely more than the daily max. Baby is currently having a celebratory dance party.
@pinkprincess2 I'm probably close to or above 200mg most days at this point. With the amount of work I have plus business trips only coffee can keep me going. I'm drinking decaf in the morning because I know that at some point during the afternoon I'll need a "pick-me-up"
@PinkPrincessPiper All aboard the caffeine train! This week has been a rough week for sleep, although I caught up a little yesterday. I've been trying to do tea instead of coffee, but definitely not this week.
@PinkPrincessPiper I have gone over a few times as well. I used to be a 3-5 cups a day person, but when I started to TTC I started to get off of coffee. It took me almost 6 months to drop it, **TW loss mentioned** but then post loss I found that being 100% caffeine free didnt change my outcome, so I started to drink it a bit. During the first tri I lost my taste for coffee, but its back! My Favorite thing to drink is a "dirty chai" from starbucks. ITs a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso in it. Ive had it twice and both times I was shaking from the caffeine, but it was soooo good! Enjoy your coffee!

@taylormarie923 DD has been waking up earlier than normal here too. For the most part she's been refusing naps too. So by dinner she is a little brat and tells us she wants to go to bed. We make sure she eats at least a little food and then up to bed. I'm so exhausted right now too.

Everyone has LOs waking them up earlier and I'm over here like my dogs have woke me up around 4:30 everyday this week, 2 hours earlier than normal. I know it's not the same as having a LO wake you up, but it has shed light on the fact that I will be the one forever getting up with the kiddos because DH doesn't even move.

I'm with you on tea... if it's going to be a long day, having the small caffeine doses from tea all throughout the day is working better for me than one cup of max-daily-value coffee in the morning.
@mrsashworth522 My sleep has been interrupted by dogs all week. It's finally getting lighter earlier in the morning which I think makes my dogs think 5:00 am is an appropriate time to whine to go outside. I'm over it.
I'm going to the Dr today to get my Rhogam shot. I blocked out hours on my work calendar and just said Dr appt...I might have scheduled a hair appt directly following the 10 minute visit with the nurse.
I feel a little bad but technically I will be online and "working" while I get my hair done.
@littlebug23 - had a Dirty Chai myself today - DH seems to have a problem with it - not the caffeine just that his pregnant wife is saying "dirty chai" like I'm dirty talking to the barista when he's getting no action lol. Edited to add that I guess that also brings up my FFFC - I no longer feel bad for DH that he's getting no action - I have no desire to do it and the bigger my belly gets the less "poor DH" I feel, I'm going to sleep!

@JWatt5 I love dirty chais and DH thinks its funny when I order them! I just wish my body could handle the caffeine a bit better.

@bumpybump, I will let you know if this clock works out. I am using pancakes and eggs for breakfast as a reward/bribe tomorrow morning if he manages to stay in bed until 7.
@pinkyswife I fully support your Dr/ hair appointment calendar block. I put "Dr appointment " on my outlook calendar even though I'm going and doing daycare tours.
@pinkyswife and @tova24 I always put at least a 2 hour block on my calendar when I have a Dr appointment. If it was an US its at least a half day!

FFFC is that all week i had caffeine to survive the day and my daughter has woken up at 6am all week. I am exhausted and baby has been having a full on party in there. She has been kicking me and when her sister lays on my tummy she kicks too that it hurts but I am enjoying these moments because then comes august i will be dealing with a year old daughter and newborn daughter talk about Mombie in the making.

THIS. I felt bad earlier and now he'll literally just flat out ask if we can have sex and I'm like "no thanks" and then I roll over haha.
FFFC: I get so jealous that my husband works 4-10s that when he's sleeping in on Friday mornings I don't even try to be quite when I am up getting ready for work at 4:30. Sorry, not sorry DH!
I forgot it was friday. My lame confession is with DH gone and our weekly activities suspended I have absolutely no idea what day it is most of the week. I have to set reminders on my phone for everything now because "I have an appointment on Tuesday" means nothing anymore. Thanks for starting confessions today @bumpybump
I hate graduation ceremonies. They're crowded, people are mean and pushy, no one can see well, the traffic for parking is horrible and at least all the ones I've been to, you can't see your loved ones as the graduate to smile or wave to.
I walked in my high school one, because I was also in choir so I was singing with that group one last time, but I didn't walk at my college one. Fortunately my program had a small small ceremony for just the social work students (like 15 of us) so we could wear a cap and gown and had a speech and slideshow of us all. It was great. I have zero regrets about not walking in the big one. And if I go back for any degrees I won't walk in those either.
im sitting here at the graduation for my little sister in the big brothers/big sisters program, and I hate it. If it hadn't been such a big deal for her, I would have skipped it.
Update...I got my hair done then had to go back to the office for an "emergency" request from a client (eye roll). So I had to throw my new hair in a messy bun to throw everyone off my new glorious hair which is annoying.
My FFFC is that coffee does NOTHING for me. I can drink soda, coffee, and tea all day, I can even have a cup of coffee at bedtime, and I will sleep soundly.
Im to a point where all it does is give me heartburn, so I don't drink it. And if I do, it's for the warmth and the pound of cream and sugar I add to it!
@taylormarie923 we use the Ok to Wake alarm with my son too (he'll be 3 on Sunday) and it works well most of the time. Often he wakes before the alarm, cries, and I go in and convince/remind him to wait until the alarm clock turns green and it works.
DD has been refusing to go to sleep at her normal bedtime (7:30), so we pushed it back to 8-8:30 since she is getting bigger (she'll be 2 in Sept), and now she sleeps in until 10am. It's glorious. I get the boys up, ready, and out the door to school without having her in the mix, and I even have time for coffee & the news (and The Bump) before she wakes.
