So after this scary week of symptom loss and so much cramping, I am really happy to be here!

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
10 weeks, strawberry

2. How are you feeling?
Sick, even with 4 diclegis a day, tired (I'm telling you I could sleep for an entire day, moody (this is new this week), bloated

3. Any appointments this week?
I had an emergency ultrasound Tuesday for viability and it was all good. Go to my first real appointment the coming Wednesday.

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about?
ecery year we drive 10 hours to go to St Augustine with my husband's family. Last year was with an 11 month old with a full leg cast. It's expensive and i don't enjoy it. I'm trying really hard to get out of it this year.

2. How are you feeling?
Good, this week has been so much better. Morning sickness has died down and a little less tired. Last night I even slept like 6 hours in a row! I'm looking forward to getting my life back for a few months. Dizziness hasn't really subsided much. I think I need more protein.

3. Any appointments this week?
Monday we go for a heartbeat. I'm glad it's a busy weekend because I am terrified that baby will be too small or they won't be able to find the heartbeat, etc. I want things to be okay so bad.

4. Rants, raves, questions? I went out with the ladies to a movie last night. It was so good to get out with them. I almost never miss storytime/bedtime so I feel like it was good for me and my daughter.

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about? I am a children's director at my church so most of my summer has to do with Vacation Bible School. But, every August we go with my in-laws to Great Wolf Lodge. Right now my pregnant body is so excited about the thought of that lazy river... bring it on!

@dkizz82 a vacation that you are dreading sounds miserable. Hopefully you can get out of it and do something fun instead!

@andipandicWed121369 They should have no problem finding the heartbeat. I went at like 9 weeks and they found it no problem. I am plus size and was really worried they wouldn't be able to because of that, but it wasn't an issue!

12!!! Holy crap, one more week in my first trimester! Size of a plum.

2. How are you feeling?
Other than having to pee every 5 minutes, some constipation, and feeling overly full when I eat (really that's probably my own fault) I'm great!

3. Any appointments this week?
Had a heartbeat check yesterday that went well in the end. I started spotting while leaving a urine sample at the doctors office, but he did an exam and said there was no more bleeding. It took him forever to find the heartbeat this time which scared the shit out of me, but he did find it.

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about?
I recently went part time at my job so I am looking forward to having free weekends with my husband! We wrote out a whole summer bucket list of things to do this summer, which will include swimming almost every weekend, and I can't wait!

2. How are you feeling?
My morning sickness and migraines are still brutal and now that I've officially been diagnosed with GD, I have even fewer choices of palatable food.

3. Any appointments this week? None until June.

Im pretty upset about the GD. It just sucks.

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about?

My DD is 19 months so this summer we are going on all kinds of adventures! I can't wait for swimming and farmers markets. We are going on a mini vacation next week.

@andipandicWed121369 I'll be keeping you in my thoughts on Monday and hoping for a perfect appointment!

@ktcakes87 swimming every weekend sounds like a great way to spend the summer! I'm jealous!

@jlemons-2 with being diagnosed so early, what does that mean? Are you cutting out sugars? This is my first pregnancy and not super familiar with GD.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 11 weeks! Lime (x2!)

2. How are you feeling? Absolutely exhausted (going to bed at 7pm and waking up at 6am still exhausted) and the past few days my nausea has been pretty bad.

3. Any appointments this week? My NT scan is next Tuesday!

4. Rants, raves, questions? I have definitely started to show and I know people around me are starting to notice. If everything goes ok with the NT scan, we will announce next Friday and I will probably announce at my work next Thursday. It makes me both nervous and excited.

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about? I have some plans to travel--Bachelorette party in Michigan, Wedding in Colorado, Bat Mitzvah in Atlanta. We also have a wedding in PA at the end of September, but I am not sure if my doctor will let me travel at that point. We will have to wait and see how things are going.

Pretty good. Starting to notice a little bit of curve in my tummy that might be more than just bloating. Symptoms are still minimal, this week the only noticeable thing has been constipation

3. Any appointments this week?
Next week for the NT scan

Nothing now!

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about?
Not really. We usually go down to my family's beach house a few times in OBX. We might try and fit in a week with just me and DH in New England/Maine. It will depend on my job and our money situation

@ktcakes87 how scary! So glad it ended ok. I went in Tuesday with bad cramping. They couldn't bear a heartbeat but did the exam. He said it all looked good and of course the ultrasound verified it. I'm so nervous about going in Wednesday. Him finding the heartbeat always makes me nervous.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 10w. Strawberry

2. How are you feeling? Besides tired, good. I'm starving in the morning and a bit nauseous in the afternoon, but other than that just bloated and constipated.

3. Any appointments this week? This afternoon, we have an ultrasound that we scheduled yesterday because I had a bunch of brown spotting and stuff. It's just with radiology and not my OB, so at least we'll get to know everything is ok and if there is just one baby. We haven't had an ultrasound yet, or met with my OB (that appt is next Friday).

4. Rants, raves, questions? I'm just looking forward to finally getting an ultrasound today. My grandma passed away on Tuesday and we haven't told my mom yet... So i'm hoping some good news might cheer her up.

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about?We go to summer hours starting next week and I am not looking forward to it. If it was just me I wouldn't care, but we go to 4 10 hour days which means I have to wake the boys up (11 months) at 6 to be out the door by 6:20. They normally wake up around 7... I'm hoping we all can adjust.

2. How are you feeling?
Overall yucky, constipated, nauseous in the evening quite bad, tired, etc. I'm on diclectin, 4 times a day and I think I'll take two in the afternoon and see if that helps my evening sickness.

3. Any appointments this week?
I have one next Thursday to "finish" the first trimester! Today I got my Harmony results back and am beyond relieved everything is good, no issues!!

4. Rants, raves, questions?
Despite feeling like sh!t most of the time, DH and I are excited to tell our families we're expecting this weekend!! I cannot wait for this to be out in the open!

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about?
We're taking two weeks off end of June, early July, and plan on doing some outdoor projects and day trips. A staycation to do things at our leisure. We live next door to a beautiful provincial park with a beach and trails, so would like to take advantage as much as I can!

12 weeks. Plum.

2. How are you feeling?
Nausea has been especially brutal this week, but just yesterday I had a break from the fatigue and almost felt like myself for the first time in ages. Silly me stayed up too late last night because we had friends over and now I'm paying for it. (TMI: I also really miss my pre-pregnancy pooping schedule.)

3. Any appointments this week?
Nothing til June 1st, but we should get our Counsyl (NIPT) test results back any day now. I'm eerily confident that everything will be fine... which then makes me nervous about jinxing anything.

4. Rants, raves, questions?
DH and I are finally starting to feel like we can be excited about this, and to plan for when (rather than if) baby comes. It is such a tremendous blessing to even get this far... which makes me feel sh*tty for complaining about symptoms and exhaustion.

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about?
We really want to tell my dad in person, but he's traveling (Texas, Chicago, Detroit, back to Texas) until early July. At this rate, we'll be announcing to him and my step mom well after the 4th! I'm excited to tell him, and the rest of our family right after, but I wish there was less of a wait. I'm also excited to present my first poster at a conference this summer, but less excited to stand in a hot conference hall for an hour getting heckled with questions in early Aug. Oof.

jlemons-2 I'm sorry about the GD diagnosis. Can I ask why they tested so early? I'm wondering if they will do same for me

2. How are you feeling?
Night and day from last week. Diclegis and Zofran did nothing for me so I tried Reglan and it worked so much better. I'm down to taking it only once a day. And can function! Also, I was told by RE to stop my progesterone today and I was hesitant about it and really want to continue to week 12 but I'm going to trust my RE knows what they are doing.

3. Any appointments this week?
Monday I have my first official OB appt and then all the initial labwork and NIPT

4. Rants, raves, questions?
I'm just so happy to be able to eat food again. Except French fries. This kid does not like French fries to my horror lol

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about?

i have no plans and that makes me so happy haha we will do a few day trips here and there with DS. We are planning to go to Disney next October so trying to save for that.

@Marley629 My LO also does not like French Fries... I figured this out the hard way when a craving went sorely sideways. However, baked potatoes have been sitting really well and America's Test Kitchen has a recipe where the skins get super crispy and that is tiding over my potato dreams until french fries are accepted again. @Marley629 I had it with my first two years ago so they tested right away this time. Last time I took it early too (not this early though) because I was overweight.

@beary67 I will have to start checking my blood sugar level 4 times a day once they get that to me. And I have to severely limit carbs. I'm hoping I can control it with my diet, if not I have to start taking insulin.

2. How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. Still tired, sore boobs, and starting to notice a stretching a pulling sensation in my uterus.

3. Any appointments this week? June 9th

4. Rants, raves, questions? I'm really excited to be getting further along! I can't wait to watch my belly grow and to start preparing the nursery. The guest room is currently DH's man cave so we have to move all of his stuff out and organize.

5.GTKY do you have any summer plans you're really excited about/ or not so excited about? DH booked a beach front room out on Sanibel for my 30th bday next month, and then in August we are flying back to Ohio for a wedding - looking forward to seeing family and showing DH my hometown!

@vauxthekate we talk about moving to Florida all the time. Who knows if it'll ever happen, but it's a nice dream!

@ktcakes87 Yeah we do love it here. But I also have some other family that lives here too, which definitely makes it nice. I don't know how I would feel if I was down here by myself! I really did enjoy growing up in Ohio.
