This thread is for links and tips on how to get free stuff for our babies. I saw @Ae_Lovely321 mention the Target bag you get when registering and it got me excited because I had no clue that was a perk with their registry. I already had a registry and never received a bag so I logged onto my account and requested one through the chat feature and it will be here within two weeks!

I did a target registry and an Amazon. The Amazon was more to keep track of what I wanted to order. However if you spend $10 on your registry you get a box of free stuff. Most of it was samples but I did get a bottle and a super cute swaddle blanket!

I've joined two really active local Facebook groups where people are cheaply selling--or giving away!!--their gently used baby items. I picked up a Baby Einstein chair, and some nursing covers for myself. I've seen lots of clothes, nursing items and bottles, and toys over the couple of weeks I've been paying attention, and all the moms have been super-nice. So, if your area has similar groups, I'd highly recommend this!

Today only, Babies R Us has a free Graco Packnplay with a $300 purchase, so if you have a piece of furniture to buy, this might be a good day to do it.
