Re: Friday Ticker Change 5-19-17
2. Queasy feeling is pretty much all gone. Can sleep through the night without peeing again. Headaches are still frequent and rough. Tiredness is still hanging around, but able to function better.
3. Next appt is in 3 weeks.
4. Thankful I got some flowers and veggies planted. Have so many house projects I want to do before baby... little overwhelming at the moment.
5. My phone. Sad but true. I also have my kids 99% of the time, so also my DD's "panty purse" since potty training isn't complete yet lol
1) I am 16 weeks today! Eek, where is the time going?
2) I feel pretty good. My feet are swelling and I am dehydrated but otherwise good.
3) I have an appointment on Tuesday 05/30
4) My rave is NBR but I have been listening to the podcast Serial and I am addicted. I can't stop listening. It's cutting into my bump time.
5) I usually don't leave without my phone or a bottle of water.

Still sick, still threw up this morning! On top of that, I have a bad cold... no fun at all!

I am excited because my aunt and uncle are coming to visit this weekend, but I am a little stressed because I have a cold and there's a lot to do before they come...

Phone and mints!
2. How are you feeling? Any new/different symptoms? Good, just TIRED. Still SO tired! But not able to sleep in!
3. Any appointments this week? Or coming up? No but this week got the results from my NIPT and we're low-risk for abnormalities, and it's a girl! Really excited! I also had a blood draw at work (where they offer $150 for people to come in for the screening) and all of my #s looked terrific especially "for being pregnant" as the nurse kept noting. He said that my husband must be so proud and happy that my blood work is so good. I was like, ... "yeeeaaaahhh". Too funny. I have to admit though that it did make me feel pretty good, though I'm aware that it's largely out of my control (genetics). Happy to see my fasting glucose so low, not sure if that means much in terms of identifying early GD but I'll keep thinking it does.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave: After we got the NIPT results, my DH asked "did the other results come in?" and I was confused about what he was talking about but I finally realized he meant from my pap. I said that's not a big deal because it's more about my health not the baby's per se. He assured me that he understood that, but wanted to know if it was all okay. I thought it was all very sweet! He was happy to see the letter that all was normal. But so funny because in over 15 years he's never paid an oz of attention to my women's exams.
5. GTKY: What is one thing you don't leave the house without? Definitely my phone! Probably gum too.
2. How are you feeling? Any new/different symptoms? I feel good. I think I feel little movements but more like pressure when LO moves (which it does a lot).
3. Any appointments this week? Or coming up? Had one yesterday at 15 (it's Sat am here in Korea now). LO was right on track and healthy. Our OB doesn't speak English so we have a translator. The dr said something while focused in between LO's legs. The translator then said "no no no" followed by a bunch of stuff in Korean and then said to us "the dr says boys are usually active". LO wouldn't sit still the whole u/s. We were team green but it's still not 100% so we aren't telling people yet. What's funny is that my SIL asked me if I was sure we weren't finding out the sex b/c she was doing my shower invitations. Low and behold it's probably a boy. I have another appointment on June 2 right before we fly back to the States so maybe it'll be clearer.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions? DH was the one that wanted to be team Green but he admitted that he wants a girl (but is happy with a boy). Now I don't feel as bad registering for the boy-ish gender neutral clothes. I know it doesn't matter what you put them in but I have my preferences.

I'm feeling good! The leg cramps are back, and I've been a little puffy but I haven't been drinking as much as I should. I bought new water bottles, so hopefully I use them.
3. Any appointments this week? Or coming up?
My next appointment is the last week of May. We used the ultrasound machine at work, and we are pretty sure this nugget is a boy!
4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
While I'm perfectly happy with whatever sex this child is, it would make my life so much easier if it were a girl. DD and this kiddo will have birthdays nine days apart. I have everything I need clothing wise... but it will be fun to shop

2. How are you feeling? Any new/different symptoms? I'm feeling good beside having this cold that I've been fighting for 2 weeks! My doctor thinks it may be a sinus infection. Other than that just tired!
3. Any appointments this week? Or coming up? I had one yesterday (today is Saturday) and we got our nuchal translucency results which were great and we finally heard the heartbeat for the first time! Most amazing sound ever! Everything is still looking good except my blood pressure was elevated. They want to do a 24 hour monitor in 2 weeks and we will go from there. I'm hoping it was just high because it was a really rough week in our family and its been really stressful. Fingers crossed it goes better next time!

2. How are you feeling? Any new/different symptoms? Nausea is gone, but now I'm getting frequent headaches

4. Rants/Raves/Questions? My son is 5yo and knows we are expecting. Basically everyday he walks up to my belly and say "mommy the baby told me hello" or some other super cute statement. Love to see how excited he is!
