I have so many things this morning that are making me a proud mama. I love that DS is lifting his head side to side when he lays on his belly, even if it's probably something all newborns do. He was an angel when we gave him a bath this morning; I wish I would have taken a picture because he looks so sweet during baths. And he decided to start drinking 3 oz at each feeding! He's growing so fast.

Today is my son's bday, he's 4 years old!! This morning he was so thrilled and held up the correct amount of fingers, saying "I'm four years old!"---immediately followed by "then next is 5, Mama!" which made me smile. You have a whole year to get through, buddy!

He really has been the best helper with his new little bro today, too. I've been giving him (small) choices in things so he feels some autonomy and independence. Today it's been "I'm going to the other room to change the baby's diaper. Do you want to come with me or stay here?" and his reply a few times was "go with you! I'll show you where the garbage can is!" LOL.

DD has more than doubled her birth weight and some newborn clothes is even starting to fit a little snug. I am just so happy to see her growing so well.

She received her 2 month shots today and has been a little fussy this afternoon. Both boys have been running over to her to try and calm her down. It warms my heart to see how much the love her.

DD loves little Isaac so much, it's the best thing I've ever experienced. She runs up with her arms outstretched to hug him and says "hold the baby! Hold the baby!" so I hold him close to her and she "holds" him and kisses his face. She also loves to play "this little piggy" with his toes. It's so sweet. I love being a mama of 2

My son was such a good listener today. My husband had to go to court from a old ticket he never took care of so I had my 4 day old and 20 month old all by myself for several hours and he really helped by listening

The random smiles on Rowan's face are priceless as are all of the snuggle sessions, especially when his head is laying on my chest and his extremities are sprawled all over. It really is the greatest newborn lovefest.

Yesterday Addy was really awake so we decided to read her, her first book! My husband picked out his favorite book as a kid, green eggs and ham, and read to her. She was just staring at him the whole time!! It kind of make my heart melt.

DD is 1 month old as of yesterday. She hates the swing, car seat and stroller but loves to be up on mom or dad's chest. I love those kinds of snuggles! DS is being a great big brother now. Loves to hold her and give her kisses in the morning and evening before bed.
