I had my first growth scan on Saturday and then my normal OB appointment this morning. She went over the results and both babies are growing right on track at just 40% on the curve and only a couple percentages apart. The best news I got was baby A is now head down after laying transverse this whole time, so as long as he cooperates and doesn't move too much I should be clear to attempt vaginal delivery. And I passed my glucose test!
Tomorrow I meet with another pediatrician. Hopefully I like her! I really want to narrow the search down and confirm. Then, on Thursday, I have my 28 week appointment followed by my appointment with my endocrinologist. It's going to be a fun week!
Glucose test and OB Appt were this morning. Passed my test but now I feel sick to my stomach (probably all the sugar), Baby is good and now I am on the every two weeks appt.

What did people eat the night before their glucose test? I'm planning on just having some scrambled eggs tomorrow AM before the test, but not sure about a meal for the night before (or if it even matters).
OB tomorrow and Tdap shot. Yay for hearing heartbeats and everything baby related, boo to my arm being sore for the rest of the week.
TW: 1 infant loss 8/17: Our daughter was born 8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass 2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old 4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
Jealous of everyone who got to eat before the test! My office makes everyone fast for 8 hrs before. I have a hard enough time not getting sick/light headed when I get blood drawn when I don't fast.
Glad it's over and I passed! Got rewarded with a TDap shot today at my 28 week appointment
I had a pediatrician consult today. Went really well and now I have a pediatrician. Now I have to start touring daycare options! One place I called has a 2 year waiting list! I feel like I'm late to the game even though I'm looking 6 months in advance
Had one this morning (29 wks). Everything looks good. I got super hot in the room after talking with the OB and had to lay down and the nurse brought me cold water. The OB came back in later and said for some reason two of the exam rooms were set to 75 degrees. Probably part of why I got so hot. Had my TDAP shot today too (after I cooled down).

We also had a growth scan today. Baby B has started growing faster than A so we'll have to keep an eye on their growth. But they're still only 10% apart so still okay for now. I need to fatten her up!
We also learned that baby a is vertex so if she doesn't flip we should be good to attempt a vaginal delivery!
I had an OB appointment this morning. She filled out the paperwork for the scheduler to call me about setting my c-section date. Apparently the guidelines have changed in the last 5 years and I could try for a VBA2C. I'm pretty sure I'd end up with a c-section anyway. If I go into labor before my scheduled date like I did last time, I guess I could always see how things are progressing. We also talked about whether I want a tubal ligation and even though I know in my head we're done, I'm not sure I want anything permanent. She answered questions about a few things with the c-section and the hospital's fairly new rooming in policy, which definitely put me at ease. I can't believe how quickly things are going by now.
I also got the paperwork for more blood work including the 1 hour GTT. So not looking forward to any of that.
@MetsGirl18 did you try for a VBAC with #2? I was also told that if I were to have two csections, no chance of a VBAC after them. From the ICAN groups I've read, VBA2Cs aren't the norm at all.

@MetsGirl18 My OB's policy is no VBAC after 2 c-sections. I wanted to attempt it with #3, but I'm glad with how the RCS turned out. I didn't go into labor beforehand, and showed up at the hospital in good spirits. The c/s started at 6:00am, and Baby was born at 6:12am without any complications. It was my best delivery experience by far & I'm hoping that works out for us again this time.
Also, I'm in the same boat re: tubal ligation. I know we are done, but I haven't signed off on the papers yet just because it feels so FINAL. I will though, I'm just still processing the fact that this will be my last.
@bumpybump Since I went into labor on my own before my scheduled c-section with DS2, I attempted a VBAC. My labor progressed pretty quickly once I got to the hospital, but he didn't tolerate any pushing so I ended up with another c-section. My OB said they only changed the guidelines within the last year or so because before that the practice would automatically schedule a c-section once someone has already had 2. I didn't even think it was an option so it made me pause for a minute, but I really think that I'd end up with another c-section no matter what.
