I know weird and vivid dreams are common during pregnancy. Share your latest or weirdest!

Last night I dreamt I had purchased an at home ultrasound machine to check up on babies (those don't exist). This was somehow my solution to having difficulty using a doppler to hear their heartbeats.

Latest: last night's dream started off with me in my current house and I was getting robbed by two men who were putting their loot into a baby stroller (!). All of a sudden I was at my childhood home with my parents and we were still getting robbed by the same men. We decided to leave the house and escape down the street where the robbers wouldn't find us -- calling the cops on my cell along the way. The robbers spotted us escaping and started running down the street after us with the stroller... we ditched them by running through some neighboring backyards/hopping fences until we found a good hiding spot. I woke up before they found us!

Weirdest: a few nights ago I had this terrifying dream that my baby was actually the result of me cheating on DH with my high school boyfriend. I was looking back on my fertility tracking app and did the math to find out that the only time I had sex during my FW was the time I was hooking up with the old boyfriend -- who in real life, I haven't seen in maybe 3 years/I have zero attraction to him/we don't keep in touch/his current girlfriend seems like a crazy jealous handful/most importantly I would never cheat on DH. Anyway, I was absolutely horrified in my dream that I would do something like this, and knew I would have to tell DH the truth otherwise he would know when the baby was born and didn't look anything like him. The relief I felt when I woke up. Omg.

In general my dreams have been just really long and vivid. A lot of sex dreams too.

I dreamt that I went to the dojo for my karate class (please note: I am not in karate, but my husband is). I went into the women's locker room and there were four huge men wearing nothing but towels, watching all the women get changed. Super creepy! I quickly went back out of the locker room to the workout floor and told my husband and the other black belts, and they went and busted some butts!

I had a weird one the day before my BFP. I dreamed I was pregnant, but it wasn't mine because I was a surrogate. I gave birth at home super quick, (by myself), and I was like "wow, that was easy". It was a beautiful boy with brown hair. I was really sad that I had this cute little guy and didn't get to keep him.

I think this dream may have had something to do with the fact that I'm PGAL.

I've been dreaming every night, but my favourite was when I woke up to pee at 4 a.m. (and let the puppy out because I always feel bad for her bladder even though she's fine)... when I went back to bed, I picked up where I left off in my dream!

I've had crazy dreams every night. They are super vivid at the time, and when I wake up I feel the need to go back to sleep (like it was either a super awesome dream or it was a terrible dream and now that I know it's just a dream, that I could go back and "defeat" it). But after 5 minutes, I can't remember the details anymore. But sometimes the "feeling" of the dream (intensity, fear, happiness) will stick around for an hour or two.

I have super vivid weird dreams every single night! Even when I get up mid night/morning to pee (because seriously I can't even sleep through one night) I go back into another weird dream. Not helping the poor sleep!

I've been having way too many crazy vivid dreams lately but last nights was really scary.

Ive been really paranoid about having a miscarriage for some reason even though my first pregnancy was completely healthy. Like I check for blood obsessively every time I go to the bathroom. And in my dream last night I guess I was going through it and was bleeding so much. I was so scared when I woke up.

Wasn't quite as fun as my dream last week where I went on spring break in Texas and *NSYNC was performing and I hooked up with JT and he brought me to the super bowl.

@tmk0325 @KathrynJ088 Pretty much all my dreams are sex related as well and very very obscure. The Harry Potter themed one was probably the strangest. Dream me is very, um, adventurous? DH has had a good laugh every morning when we discuss them.

@blb27. *TW*. I am the exact same as you. I think being PGAL I'm still so paranoid and it invades my dreams. I can't even count how many times I've dreamt that I've gone to the bathroom and wiped red-- it's awful!
I then wake up, feel if my boobs are still sore and promptly hold my breath as I go to the bathroom. Hoping it stops soon!

I had a dream last night that DS was actually my ex's and not my husband's. My ex had apparently only seen him 3 times in his life and I was going after him for child support. It was beyond bizarre because I haven't seen this guy in 4 (maybe 5) years! I did have to fight him for "custody" of our dog back then, so maybe that had something to do with it!

Just before I found out I was pregnant, I had a dream that a young woman had a baby she wanted to give up for adoption and she picked my DH and I to be the parents, but we had to promise one thing: to name the baby Phoebe. This is hilarious because I have 2 close friends and 1 acquaintance with daughters named Phoebe, so it is one of those names that is kind of off bounds for us UNLESS there was a crazy reason that we had to use it.

I had a dream that the baby came out, and it was already 3 months old at birth!!! Then another came out, and that twin was 1 month old at birth. I was more upset that I missed the newborn stage, than the fact that there were twins of different ages in there!

Oh man... The dream I had last night... Was one for the books. I dreamt I was in bed, and DH was home and he had met some guy who was supposedly our neighbor, and let him in the house, then for some reason he came into my bedroom while I was supposed to be sleeping, and started talking to me about how he use to be in prison and had like 9 wives and they were all awful and all the violent crimes he did, so I told him to GTFO then asked DH WTF he was doing with this crazy person in our house and he was all chipper like oh hes our neighbor, be nice! and I was SO pissed at DH for not seeing that this guy was clearly a psychopath and I didnt want him around DS. I just remember having this overwhelming feeling like 'this guy is going to rape me if DH leaves him alone with me'... It was creepy AS F**K

Luckily DH wasn't home this morning when I got up, or I'd still be mad at him lol

Last night I dreamed that my husband was a truck driver and we were all on the road. DD was strapped into the back. I was giving DH oral, driving down the road, In front of my daughter. Then I dreamed that a woman robbed me. Stole my purse and my gun (I don't own a gun). When trying to get tt back she almost shot an old man. Haha. Then I was awoken to thunder.

Ugh I feel you! I had this creepy dream that I had sex with one of my co-workers who is also a middle aged man and one of my dads good long time friends. It was so creepy..... Then my sister came in and was like were you having sex? and I was like no half naked in bed LOL too weird, can I just forget this one forever!!!

Last night I dreamed that I had baby like 3 months early but it was a boy and he was totally fine and normal size. I dreamt that we had not told anyone about me being pregnant and we had absolutely nothing ready. Then we told my mom and she was like "we just need to get him one of those boxes!" (Like how Finland does). He only had one outfit and one diaper and I was freaking out. We went to Costco and then they said my card wouldn't work so I couldn't get anything. lol what a weird dream

Reviving this thread.

Last night I dreamed that I was in the hospital, but not in my own room. It was like a labor triage unit. My doc told me I'd be having my babies that day, but wouldn't tell me why. I was in mid-twenties weeks, so they would've been super early. It still wasn't determined if I would have them vaginally or c-section and we hadn't even bought car seats yet! All very overwhelming and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it wasn't some sort of mom-intuition dream like I had prior to finding out about the twins.

@kathrynj088 That's a scary dream. I'm sure that it didn't mean anything! Throughout out my sister's twin pregnancy, we were worried that she would go early. I'm sure she had some nighmares about it. She has a small frame, and is generally the type to get sick easily, etc. But she went to 38 weeks and could have gone longer- she had to be induced!

I dreamed these evil people were holding us hostage and torturing us. One said he was gonna cut my baby out. Omg! I woke up so upset and wouldn't go back to sleep for like an hour. Then it continued. Of course, we defeated those evil people and all
was well.
