Depending on which app I'm looking at, kale/eggplant or a slow loris
3. Upcoming appointments this week?
Tuesday
4. Any new symptoms or changes?
So much movement. Getting more round ligament pain on my walks but slowing down a bit seems to help.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant: Where are you Spring weather!? It's been a chilly week
Rave: Still feeling pretty good
What is everyone going to have their babe sleep in if staying in their room? I've heard great things about Rock n Plays but also that they can have trouble transitioning to their crib because of it. We have a 2 level house and will most likely keep a pack and play downstairs which I know some use for nighttime sleep but realistically I won't be dragging that up/down the stairs everyday.
6. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do as date night?
We have a decent amount of local wineries around us and I love going there in the summer to just snack and have some wine. We have a blast and really enjoy each others company.
4. Any new symptoms or changes? My appetite is out of control!
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? I had my first unsolicited belly touch yesterday. I did not know this woman and she basically told me I'm huge. Really lady? My entire family has been telling me how I look tiny. People are weird.
6. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do as date night? Lately...going to hockey games!
@wineanddogs ours will sleep in a PNP for the first few months at night and at grandma's house during the day.
The first day May 2007 The yes day April 2012 The best day Nov 2013
3. Upcoming appointments this week? Monday and a massage on Tuesday
4. Any new symptoms or changes? nope
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? DH was surprised I said yes when he asked if I would like to go out to dinner for Mother's Day. His love language is not gift giving so I am used to this, but still after entertaining his Dad and Stepmom all weekend the last thing I want to do is cook tonight.
6. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do as date night? Going out to a nice dinner.
@wineanddogs I've heard terrible things about rock and plays so you may want to do some more checking into those as an option. Pediatricians do not recommend them and many places have banned them. Mine will transition to his crib in his room after the first week, just like his brother did.
1. How far along are you? 25 weeks
2. How big is baby? Cabbage
3. Upcoming appointments this week? Nope
4. Any new symptoms or changes? None
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? My plan was to do nothing todaY and that meant no cooking I ended up making all 3 meals and now I'm exhausted
6. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do as date night? We usually do dinner and a movie. Can't wait to start going to some local breweries and doing tastings again.
3. Upcoming appointments this week? Not for a while
4. Any new symptoms or changes? Feeling good!
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? I stepped on a scale this morning and was not pleased. I mean I ran 18 freaking miles and stayed up all night friday to saturday and it looks like I gained 3 pounds in a week. I didn't eat a ton to compensate, but maybe had more sodium than normal (mostly in the form of potato chips). I feel like I need to watch what I eat this week, but my body is still in post run recovery mode and is very hungry. The struggle is real.
6. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do as date night? DH and I work together and spend about 3 hours a day commuting together, which has kind of been our "date" time. We usually get lunch together too. We rarely want to do things without the kids in our off time, but if we did have some kid-free time we would probably do some projects around the house or get massages.
@WineAndDogs We keep the rock n play in our bedroom, and downstairs we have the pack n play and swing. He would nap downstairs and sleep at night in the rock n play. We transitioned our son to his crib at 6 weeks without any problem. Every baby is different, but this worked for my son, and fingers crossed it works again for this babe.
1. How far along are you? 27w 2d
2. How big is baby? Lettuce
3. Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, next week starts every other week visits.
4. Any new symptoms or changes? Found out today that I passed my glucose test, thank goodness! Other than that, lots of back and pelvic aches and pains. Tmi, but getting lots of trapped gas which makes my stomach tight and uncomfortable.
5. Rants/Raves/Questions? Thrilled that I passed my 1 hour test. I failed it with DS and had to take the 3 hour so I'm relieved I don't need to go through that again!
6. GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do as date night? We did a wine and paint night that was super fun. Otherwise, it's usually dinner and running errands LOL.
@WineAndDogs our DD slept in her crib upstairs and downstairs we had a swing and bouncer (and of course me) to nap on during the day. I started puttin her in the crib for naps around 4 months old when I weaned her off the swing (she loved that thing).

@lewliv a toy I highly suggest for meal times to keep them happy is this Sassy Wonder Wheel Sassy Wonder Wheel Activity Center: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AHMCKA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ScNgzbX7HT151
We also had this version which worked well too: Sassy Sensation Station Suction Toy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002J4U8KW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_heNgzbNG195A8
Other good items are stacking cups/toys. DD loved to knock them over.
Balls that rattle inside (like these Baby Einstein Rollar Pillar Activity Balls https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004G8QSXU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_AgNgzbAHHNWJE)
I'm sure there are more but those are the first things I thought of.
