Welcome to Waiting Room Wednesday!
You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on not TTC and connect with others who are in the same boat. TTC can be a long journey, and having to wait makes it feel even longer -- even if it is for a good reason. I invite you to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this like an ongoing conversation.
Benched = involuntarily not NTNP/TTC and "out of the game," usually due to medical reasons
TTA = avoiding pregnancy by using protection or FAM, usually for non-health-related reasons __________________________________________________________________
Are you benched or TTA?
What brings you here?
How long do you think you'll be here?
How have things been going?
Any R/R?

Re: Waiting Room Wednesday ~ May 10
NEITHER!!! Today is CD1!!!
Wanted to have a place to talk babies, but didn't feel like I fit in anywhere else. This has been the perfect fit
I think I will stick around for as long as ya'll will let me...
Oh my gosh. DW and I were both PMS'ing this week, so my house was rough. Nerves have definitely kicked in, but I am hoping they will smooth out. I mean, it's normal to be nervous and scared shitless, right?!
My step monster-in-law threw a fit yesterday....about a TRASH CAN. Ya know, the big blue ones? God forbid it sit at the end of the driveway and she have to look at it every day. ::insert eye roll:: DW handled it and set her straight quick, fast, and in a hurry! One of the many reasons I adore her.
I LOVE the Texas Rangers. I mean, the Astros are cool because they are just an hour down the road, but I come from a die hard Rangers family..
PS:
I am fixing to try and catch up on this week's threads before my kids come in!

I follow our local college football team and my husband is a big KC Chiefs for NFL, but I am much less passionate about those two.

Things are okay. I applied for a different position within the bank I work at, so we'll see if I get it. Or if I even want it, I'm going to shadow for a day and see if it's something I'll like.

Hope everyone is having a good week do far!
@kindbytealikat Deal
@CecilB93 Yay for a set timeline!
@whitealbum29 Eh, it happens. At least we know what's going on, though. It explains a lot of what's been happening to me emotionally for the last few months. It's definitely good to discuss the plans every once in a while! Have fun seeing your family!
Has anyone else come up with an idea or twelve to tell your partner when you do get your BFP? I have one bouncing around in my head.

@easttxmamas: Hooray for CD, well, 2 now!!
@kindbytealikat: Yay for a normal cycle! There is something to knowing what to expect from your own body.
@dreamscapes_: I hope your pain is doing better today. I'm sorry you have to add in PMDD along with it
@glitzandglitter: Girl, I hear you being tired of waiting! It's so frustrating. Good for you for treating yourself this morning. I wanted so badly to stop at starbucks this morning but just didn't have time. Maybe tomorrow!
@whitealbum29: How exciting that you were able to reaffirm you are both on the same page! Waiting sucks but it's nice to know your partner is in the same boat.
@LivingTheDream: That shirt is adorable! I hope you get to use it soon
@jessicarenee70: Have you had a lap before? For me the worst part was the bloating from all they gas they fill you with! Ugh. Good luck, I hope they are able to give you good answers.
EDD March 12, 2018
@LivingTheDream That shirt is really cute! I'm so excited for you, it's almost time!
@notthefather Ehh, not so much on the pain today. We spent roughly 14 hours at Magic Kingdom yesterday and even with DH pushing me in a wheelchair, it was still hard on my back. We also discovered a small hard lump on the back of my hip that wasn't there before, but it's very painful. If it's not gone in a few days, I'm going to make an appointment with my PCP to talk about it. That's so exciting that he gave you a maybe! Hopefully he'll be on board soon!
One of my main ideas for how to tell DH is no longer relevant, since it involved the fireworks show that ended last night. Hopefully the new one will be just as good, but we'll see. At any rate, the other idea I had involves going to see one of the characters and handing him a bag with a onesie in it. Disney sells a lot of merchandise specifically for cast members, and one thing they always have is a onesie that says "future cast member" on it. I thought that would be cute
