Stomach bug

Ugh has anyone has a stomach bug while pregnant? My daughter was sick this past week. She threw up twice and had diarrhea. Well last night I ended up throwing up and then kept throwing up every hour on the hour. It was horrible. This wasn't morning sickness because that is totally different. This was definitely something bad in my stomach. Also I ended up having diarrhea too. Finally after maybe 10 trips to the toilet all night it has subsided. I just feel a little queezy and my whole body is sore. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm eating the BRAT diet right now but don't have much of an appetite. Just curious if anyone has dealt with this too. I will probably call my doctor tomorrow but is there any chance I've hurt my baby at all? I don't have any other symptoms.

    I just had a stomach bug too. Just try to keep your fluids up, baby will be fine. Sorry you're dealing with this!

    I've had really bad morning sickness and was recently in ER and asked doctor if it could be hurting the baby - she said that the baby takes whatever it needs from its mother so the baby is in good shape and doesn't even know anything is going on. As long as you try to take small sips here and there you should be ok. I'm glad you are starting to feel better

    Just as these other ladies have said, baby is absolutely fine! I am just over a vomiting bug myself. Horrible. Hope you're feeling better soon!

    Hi yes I had this for 2 weeks! My regular doctor and my gyno both said the baby would be fine and would retain whatever nutrients it needed
