Today I went for a "hike" (leisurely walk) through a wildlife sanctuary with one of my best friends. It was gorgeous and a nice amount of exercise for me AND she didn't make fun of me for huffing and puffing at the slight inclines lol. Then we went to Cheesecake Factory after and guys, I effing love the Cheesecake Factory. Now DH will be home any minute. What a great turnaround after being woken up too early!
@DuchessOfCambridge my aunt and two of my cousins work at the Cheesecake Factory near me. I go as often as possible and make them bring me food whenever I can get away with it!
I had some gift cards laying around so I ordered myself a whole bunch of stuff. Some of it is for me, some of it is for the protomolecule when s/he gets here.

We've got a lot of our packing done so far. The movers will pack stuff but I didn't want them going through my clothes and sex stuff haha. I woke up to Happy Mother's Day messages from my MIL and SIL and my SIL send me a picture of my shower invite. I'd post it but half of it would be painted to cover personal info haha. We're team green so picking a theme was a bit hard for them. The invitation looks like a book and says "It's a surprise. A baby is the beginning of a beautiful story." and the spine of the book says "The tale of baby (last name)". DH is taking me out to breakfast soon too because I want pancakes but we have no food since we're moving.
We had my daughter's third birthday party today and I managed to get the cleaning and cooking done without stressing out about if it was perfect or not and I managed to stay awake the whole time. I call that a win!
I want to say my big win is that with all the birthday money DD got we bought a wood swing set for our backyard. The doctor seems to think I may have to go on bed rest again with this one so it will be nice to let her play outside while I sit in a chair rather than travel to the nearest park.
@DuchessOfCambridge Ummm a onesie I needed and will die without and several pairs of baby legwarmers because I do not believe in baby pants and also, I wear leg warmers all the time so I feel like this will be the closest we'll ever get to "mommy and me" haha

I work in the jewelry department and I thought I was going to be by myself like I am most Saturday nights. When I came in, there was actually two other associates there. One of them has already left but the other is with me until closing.
My toddler took a 2 hour nap and I got to talk to my parents for the first time in a few weeks, and my hubby will be back from his race in a few hours!!!! (He's been gone since 4 yesterday morning) also I'm staying at my in-laws and my sil made German pancakes for breakfast and then my mil made a quiche for lunch. My pregnant self is so happy lol
It was a beautiful and sunny day here! I took my son to the farm park with some friends for the morning, and then he took a 2 hour nap (and I slept too!) then, we went to the club for a nice family afternoon with other friends. They had some staff to watch the kids and so hubby and I got to relax for awhile. Priceless!
I am so behind on TB the last few days since we've been out of town. But we managed to share the news without anyone hearing it from a "third party" with every member of our immediate family this weekend which is truly amazing given the size of our family and the inability of most of them to keep a secret. I'll catch up when we get home. Hope all you ladies have a wonderful weekend!
My next door neighbors were having a yard sale and I went by to see if they had any baby stuff since they have a 10 month old. They didn't know I was pregnant since we just moved in a month ago and when they found out they went inside and gave us a bunch of things for free that their baby never used! It was so sweet of them. Totally made my day and so happy that we moved here. Also, it was the first things that we got for baby!
Happy Mother's Day Everyone! I don't care if this is your 1st or your 30th, you are a mom!
The boys slept in or were quiet until 8! I also had chocolate cake and milk for breakfast and didn't feel bad about it. In a a little while we will go to a Mother's Day brunch/lunch with my mom and MIL and we will be telling them all at once about this pregnancy. Still waffling on whether to tell them it's a girl or not, but we'll see. DH and DS1 finished playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time and it didn't scare the kiddo too much, so that's another win. So far it has been an awesome Mother's Day and promises to get a little bit better.
@ugoglencoco I am ! I live in Fairfield county (I can pm you exactly where) but you know, the internet hahaha ! this is my adopted state - I grew up in NYC but I really love it here. It's so idyllic. Where are you, generally ?
Yay to CT. I really didn't have much faith in the weather after seeing it this morning. Looks beautiful outside. A one sided sinusitis has me indoors but my dad is grilling for all of us today.
We went to a fabric store and picked out a lot of cute fabric for the quilt my mom is making for sister. We also took DS to Chuck E. Cheese. He had so much fun. So. Much. Fun.
