GTKY: I used this one once, but it was on the Benched thread and no one posted that week so I'm going for it again: What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
R/R: MH woke me up early AF and then he fell back asleep and I didn't. I know it's bad when I can actually start a daily (I'm PST). We don't live near any family (blessing and curse?) so nothing special happening here except a couple phone calls and gifts in the mail. I'm OK, but I know some of you guys are hurting today and I hope it doesn't suck too bad and that you find your way to the appropriate coping mechanisms.

GTKY: I used this one once, but it was on the Benched thread and no one posted that week so I'm going for it again: What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? We did an engagement trip in Spain and when we were in the Basque region in the north we tried some of the weirder non touristy tapas. Despite how totally gross it looked, the one I loved the most was the one with a bunch of baby eels on a piece of toast. I'm normally a very picky eater, but somehow I rallied for the experience and so glad I did. But we can't find any good ones here in the US so we will have to go back one day and eat them in Spain again.
@JennyColada Yeah, the double entendre acronyms got me for awhile too! Before coming on to TTGP I never referred to my period as AF (always preferred "red tide") so "as fuck" is actually way easier for me to remember.
WAYDTGMFKU: PNV, vegan omega and DHA supplements (which includes evening primrose oil), preseed, temping, OPK, sexing

I also used this answer in the benched thread, but when I was little I loved sand, and I would only eat pitas filled with mayo in elementary school. Yummmm
@heatherdubrow Hope you don't get too many side effects!
@doxiemoxie212 I still love your GTKY answer even though I read it before. I didn't eat sand as a kid, but I did partake in a play dough tasting every now and again.
R/R: I am currently curled up under a cozy blanket on the couch and my DH is in the kitchen making me strawberry filled French Toast (a Home Chef meal), so things could certainly be worse. I've been looking forward to this meal all week!
CS/Q: I had a temp spike this morning that makes me think maybe I am no longer truly WTMFO. If so, we're definitely out this cycle thanks to no timing whatsoever. But by next FW my DH should finally be done with working crazy amounts of OT, so I'm trying to focus on that!
GTKY: Probably Haggis Balls with whiskey mayo in Scotland. I actually loved haggis and ate it at every opportunity over there! It was so much tastier than I had expected.
@Augusta108 Sorry YH's OT made your timing suck. Work so often throws a wrench in all our plans, doesn't it. I always hope I don't O near a Monday b/c MH has these horrible 7 hour meetings every Monday and always comes home furious, drained, and not wanting to HIO so I feel you. FX next month is better (which it sounds like it should be).
@vflux33 it so annoys me when H wakes me up early for no reason!!!
@Stargazer1lily I'm so sorry about cd1 yesterday! (As a teeeeeeeny tiiiiiiiiny consolation, you can be cd buddies with me & @KariAnn323 )
@heatherdubrow I'm sorry--I should know this. Remind me what Lupron does.
@doxiemoxie212 eww. Sand. I hate when I get little grits of sand in mouth from anything.
@Augusta108 your strawberry filled French toast sounds delicious!!

CS/Q: **TW** so exactly 4 weeks after I got the Methotexate shot, the bleeding I had mimiced AF and I counted it as cd1. Then 12 days later the spotting turned into bleeding again but it was different that AF so didn't think much about it (I was still bleeding & spotting continuously at this point). But this AF seems to be like that last bleeding so I'm wondering if I O'd on cd 29 instead of cd40 **end TW**
GTKY: I used this one once, but it was on the Benched thread and no one posted that week so I'm going for it again: What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten. I don't actually what we ate but when we were in Japan we bought a lot of things from street vendors and stalls. It was all so good!
R/R: I'm oddly doing ok today. **TW This is my third mother's day since my mom died. TW** I feel sort of guilty that mother's days are getting easier. I had a dream that my mom called me last night, but I can't remember what we talked about.

@pebbledam He said he had a dream where he was trying to pee and that he woke up and all he could think about was peeing. We're both generally bad at falling back asleep after waking up so it's not his fault--I've done the same to him hundreds of times. I don't really have anything important going on today, so NBD just annoying.
I forgot deep fried butter was a thing. Is it good?
R/R: We might be getting a puppy at the end of the week! Early birthday present for me!
CS/Q:
GTKY: What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? When I was in Girl Scouts, my troop went to a nature center and they had us try mealworms. After getting over the fact that we were eating bugs, they weren't too bad.
@vflux33 - MH is waaay better at falling back to sleep than me. If he woke me up telling me he needed to pee, I would have growled at him! And no, deep fried butter was not that great. It was basically just the cinnamon batter that they used to coat the butter because all the butter melts out. It was weird. @winniecooper92 - What kind of puppy?

@pebbledam Oh he didn't wake me up to tell me that--he told me that after he finally woke up again this morning. (If he had woken me up just to tell me that I would definitely have been pissed!)
I'm glad to hear that deep fried butter isn't great because I'm pretty sure my arteries couldn't handle the news of it being delicious.
@vflux33 Baby eels on toast! You, my friend, have substantially bigger balls than I. Eels look too much like snakes, which are my absolute biggest, most mortal fear. I could probably hardly even look at baby eels on toast without crying. Respect.
Sorry about your cramps @Stargazer1lily. Cramps are a B. So is CD1. Sorry girl.
@heatherdubrow Good to hear that you are feeling ok today after starting the Lupron yesterday!
@doxiemoxie212 Pita filled with mayo- WTAF girl. I remember you answering that in the benched thread and I was like, nooooo. Maybe it's the, "filled with" part that I struggle with. Bless your parents for riding that one out and making you all those pitas.
@Augusta108 That French toast sounds bomb. Nice job to YH. I hope you enjoyed it!
@purplg8r I was going to use Japan for mine too! My brother lived there for 2 years and, when I visited him for Christmas one year, I had meat on a stick from one of those convenience stores that doesn't sell gas. I didn't ask what it was. It was really good, like nothing I had ever tasted before. Pretty sure it was cat tho. What were you in Japan for?

GTKY: I used this one once, but it was on the Benched thread and no one posted that week so I'm going for it again: What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? See above- possibly (probably) cat while in Japan.
Omg @vflux33 that gif is horrible! I was trying to embrace the culture and try all the things. I didn't realize the excellent chance that it could have been cat until after.
@pebbledam the heart wants what the heart wants, and at age 3 that is sand.
@kbamomma33 yep yep, open it up like a pocket, stuff it with mayo. Ideally I would catch my mom in the act and I could lick the knife.
OH I also used to come in the kitchen when my mom was cooking, and I'd say, "First slice of butter?" and she'd give me a tiny sliver of butter to eat straight. Then I'd come back, "Second slice of butter?" this would go on until she was finished cooking. She indulged this because I was very tall and VERY thin for my age (I've been 5'8 since I was 12, but when I was 12 I was 85 lbs) and most doctors told her things like, "Does she like ice cream? Just give her the tub and a spoon." So my vegan mother gave up trying to give me healthy food in any way shape or form at a rather early age. What a trooper!
@pebbledam I'm so sorry about your mom. And deep fried butter--I like to try all the deep fried things but I've never heard of this one. How was it?
@winniecooper92 yay for a new puppy! You'll have to share a pic when you get it!
@kbamomma33 steaks yum! We're having that tonight too! My friend and I had been to Walt Disney World tons together. In 2002 we went to Disneyland Paris together. We made a pact that every 5 years we'd go to another park. So in 2007 we went to Disneyland & 2012 we went to Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland. ( This year was a 5 year but she couldn't afford to go so H & I went to Shanghai Disneyland)
@purplg8r - I would pass on the deep fried butter. They made a cinnamon batter and deep fry the stick of butter, which obviously melts out so really you are eating fried cinnamon batter. I'm glad me and 3 friends bought one to split just so we could say we tried it.
