Any medical appointments/updates for baby or mom this week? Peds appt. on Monday.
Questions, concerns, updates, etc. concerning feeding/weight gain? Feeding is going great just hoping my milk comes in soon! He has wanted to eat all night the past 2 nights.
Questions, concerns, updates, etc. concerning sleeping or other symptoms for both baby & mom? Overall, we have both been doing well. I'm just running on 6 hours of sleep since hes been born.
Rants/raves/questions?
GTKY: What silly things have you or your partner done since baby arrived?
DH has been really awesome so far! He has done almost every diaper change and made sure I'm being taken care of. I could just really use him being awake right now so I can try or a nap.
How big is baby? full term baby sized, watermelon?
Any appointments this week? Had an appointment, NST, and BPP on Wednesday due to high BP concerns. Everything looked good. Next appt is at 39w6d. Hopefully baby comes before then!
Symptoms? Nothing new
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm ready to meet this little boy!
Progress made or plans for baby preparation? We really need to get the nursery cleaned out. He won't be in it for awhile, but right now it is a storage area for all of his stuff. I want to have it be at least a peaceful place for nursing when he comes.
GTKY: It's hard to be positive in these last weeks. So, what's good about still being pregnant? Being pregnant still means that I have time to clean my own room and the nursery, celebrate Mother's Day with DD, and maybe (probably) go to her preschool conferences on Tuesday. Those would all be good to get done, but I'm not opposed to him coming now either.

How big is baby? Watermelon!!
Any appointments this week? I go on Tuesday! I will be 40.4 so I am assuming we will start talking induction? I'm seeing my favorite doctor so I'm interested to see what he says. I really want this baby to come on his own.
Symptoms? I just hurt everywhere.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I know he is basically taking up all the room in there, but I need him to move more! I'm always having to stop what I'm doing to make sure he is moving.
Progress made or plans for baby preparation?
Once my family gets back tonight this kid can show up anytime!
GTKY: It's hard to be positive in these last weeks. So, what's good about still being pregnant? Again, I just need to get to tonight and I will be super thankful he waited to come!! My brother graduates from college today and I didn't want to overshadow his big day. I'm glad I've stayed pregnant this long! Starting tonight, this kid can show up anytime!
@KMD1106 I'm glad the BP turned out to not be an issue.
@bacorrea Such a considerate baby that he's stayed in for so long! I hope your OB appointment goes well if you make it to that.
How far along are you? 38 weeks
How big is baby? Pomeranian, spaghetti squash, winter melon
Any appointments this week? Had one Friday (yesterday). 3cm, 80%, -2. No end in sight for uterine irritability.
Symptoms? Yes, enough said.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I told the midwife I saw that I was concerned the uterine irritability was wearing me down and I wouldn't have anything left emotionally or physically for labor if it keeps up another 2-4 weeks. Her response was that since I have had it for so long (3 weeks!) and I'm not at 3cm, I'll be ahead of the game and have built up a pain tolerance, so my labor will be easier. I 100% don't buy any of that.
Progress made or plans for baby preparation? We are so ready! SO ready. There's nothing left to plan or prep. As a matter of fact, I had a dream about cleaning the top of our glass stove, which is what woke me up at 5 am. DH cleaned the stovetop before we went to bed. There's nothing left to clean!
GTKY: It's hard to be positive in these last weeks. So, what's good about still being pregnant? Baby movements. I tell myself that those magical pokes and tickles are what's getting me through this minute by minute.
How far along are you? 39 weeks
How big is baby? Pumpkin
Any appointments this week? Tuesdays weekly until baby arrives
Symptoms? Ready to pop
Rants/Raves/Questions?
I'm stuck at hospital for monitoring. DS (2) gave me a good kick in his sleep Thursday night. I had what felt like one really long and intense BH contraction. I got up, used the bathroom, waited for baby to move, and went to bed. I woke up Friday morning feeling extremely tight and uncomfortable with no movement so I called the nurse and she said to go to assessment to get checked out. When I first arrived they were very concerned with the fetal strip bc it was "flat", but after about 20 mins it became more reassuring. I had to be admitted for 24 hours of monitoring. Hospital doc basically said, at 39 weeks, if we are going to keep you for 24 hours of monitoring, why not induce. Luckily, the on call doc didn't pressure induction and said I would be able to go home after 24 hours. Now I'm waiting for on call doc to make rounds and discharge me. I'm not enjoying be tethered to a bed for 24+ hours.
Progress made or plans for baby preparation?
I'm ready at home, but I'd like one more day at the office to tie up a few loose ends.

This is hard..no poopy diapers and baby spit up to deal with while you're pregnant.
