Read/watch/project chat ~ May 12

We haven't done this one for a few weeks so I thought I'd throw it out there :)

Re: Read/watch/project chat ~ May 12

  • I'm about halfway through reading American Psycho. It's good, but slow going. After that I want to get started on a couple of baby/pregnancy/prenatal nutrition books that I have.

No craft projects currently, but I SHOULD make some more paper flowers. But my Silhouette is still packed up from the move and I haven't really found anywhere that I want to set it up. Oh, maybe I'll work on ordering some pictures to hang up around the house (we've been married 2.5 years and STILL do not have any wedding photos printed, whoops).

  • Reading any good books lately? Are you currently reading anything? Anything on the to read list? I'm still working on 1984. I just haven't really gotten around to reading very much lately. I also downloaded The Handmaid's Tale, so I want to read that.

Do you have any craft projects you are currently/want to start working on? Still working on my latch hook rug. It's not very far along. I've remembered why I stopped doing them, lol.

Do you have any home improvement/projects around your house you are working on? Once our finances get sorted out, we're going to go to Ikea and buy some shelves and some more picture frames so that we can actually utilize the available wall space in our apartment. We rent, so there isn't much we can do.

Watch anything good lately? TV? Movies? Netflix? For some reason, I've been binging on Futurama lately. I'd only seen a handful of episodes before, so I've just been working my way through the whole series now. Netflix is removing one of my favorite documentaries in a few days, but I have it on DVD, so that's okay.

Reading any good books lately? Are you currently reading anything? Anything on the to read list? I want too but I've been too tired and so busy. Hopefully this summer I will have time again.

Do you have any craft projects you are currently/want to start working on?  Not right now. I have a paper pumpkin subscription so that should arrive soon for me to do :)

Do you have any home improvement/projects around your house you are working on? I need a major clean, donate organize project to happen. But I won't really get into that until summer.

Watch anything good lately? TV? Movies? Netflix? I watched the season finale for Criminal Minds but now I'm annoyed because it was a cliff hanger :/ I also have been watching handmaids tale and I am really liking that.
  • All my time on these interweb boards I've never seen this particular type thread, or I just don't remember. I LOVE IT THOUGH!

Reading any good books lately? Are you currently reading anything? Anything on the to read list? Nothing currently after finals next week I've got my list. I've really want to make it a good way through the Womans Murder Club series by James Patterson. I also plan to by the original Sherlock Holmes series and read that. I never tire of those. I'll throw a sappy read in there somewhere to but nothing currently in my have to read list. So any recommendations welcome

Do you have any craft projects you are currently/want to start working on? I don't craft...Unfortunately I'm not that creative. I am going to buy The Princess Bride and Serenity coloring books this summer. I also plan to try and learn knitting again.

Do you have any home improvement/projects around your house you are working on? Not self lead but we are having our basement renovated starting the 22nd.

Watch anything good lately? TV? Movies? Netflix? During the day its cartoons or nothing and it's baseball season so that is our evening watch. We recently watched Trainwreck with Amy Schmar, I was so disappointed :(
