Any thoughts about this cycle? I'm getting more and more impatient. Going on a year of trying and it's bumming me out. I started testing...so far everything has come back normal. Next up is a HSG during AF. So I'm hoping I don't get AF this time around and don't need more tests.

We do brunch at my aunts house. It's our entire family and extended family and in laws are invited. It's big and I've looked forward to being able to celebrate myself as a mother long before I had my son. So now that he's around I get that much more excited.

GTKY: Since its May...what are your Mother's Day plans? If no plans...what would YOU like to do to celebrate Mother's Day? Just relax! I work overnight the night before so I probably won't do much. Dinner at my parents house most likely and DH was being sneaky the other day so I think he has a cute gift planned.

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just waiting. Got 2 highs from my Digital OPKs so I’m just HIO and testing with my Wondfos during the day. And also, trying to make HIO not feel like such a chore right now.

Any questions? I never know what’s considered a TW. I mean… I read the post about what is and that children aren’t but I still feel funny talking about it.

We went to a minor league baseball game yesterday, which is always fun, and my kid was running around. It was so exhausting. Anyway… they have a section that is general admission and is grassy and you can lay out a blanket, so I think I want to do that. Then the kid wont feel forced to be in a seat or on our laps. It’ll probably be exhausting still but at least it’ll be cozy and he wont be trying to eat chips off the nasty floor. Ha!

Any thoughts about this cycle? First real cycle since having Mirena removed, so looking forward to hio during FW. Not used to having AF, so Im getting used to it again...and it's a pain!

Any thoughts about this cycle? This was my first cycle charting, temping and using OPKs. I've gotten BFNs for the last few days and AF is due Thursday, but I'm still not counting myself out just yet. I think we may have missed O because I wasn't exactly sure how the OPKs worked. I think I was looking for the test to do something that it was never gonna do. SMH... Oh, well...I guess that was our practice round and now we're armed with knowledge and ready to go for next cycle.

I would love for my hubby to pay to have my house professionally deep cleaned. That would be the BEST Mother's Day gift right now. It's so easy to maintain the cleanliness afterwards.

We usually try to spend time with my family and my in laws. Go out to eat, spend time at their homes, etc. We all love close to one another so it's usually a busy day of rushing around trying to spend equal amounts of time with everyone. And usually a mother's day luncheon at my grandmother's church and one at mine.

My daughter is six months old. We had a loss quite recently and I need to start trying again for hope's sake.

Any thoughts about this cycle?

I think I'm just going to go with an iron-containing prenatal and a gummy vitamin for this baby. Last time I took exact amounts of each vitamin and had a devil of a time trying to keep them all down.

Any thoughts about this cycle? I know it's only cycle 2... but i'm starting to wonder if this is all a worthwhile plan or just plain selfish. We originally planned to have a third several years ago, but our lives got severely derailed (H's severe depression, cheating, then car accident TBI, PTSD, anxiety)... it feels like our family isn't quite complete, and I know I'd forever think the "what-if" should we decide to stay a family of four. But at the same time, I'm scared shitless that he will go back to old habits. If the kids were younger, I'd likely want to take a pause and let my feelings settle out. Sorry for the dear diary post here... so much heavyness on my mind today.

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just waiting to see... Timing was good regardless, but my youngest had me up multiple times on what would have either been O+1 or O-1 which is annoying cause my temps are messed up. I'm still breastfeeding and want to know how long my luteal phase is currently. I'm either 9 or 11 DPO today with BFN this morning but obviously early either way. I want to know as soon as possible though cause I needed progesterone supplements previously and will need a quick blood test.

Any questions? Not really. I agree with @Supercoolstephy that its hard to know what is considered a TW even though it says technically that mentioning children is not. I was on here with I was TTGP with my last baby, and I don't remember it being such an issue unless you were on the TTTC or TTCAL. I wish there was more of a place to discuss stuff and not worry about mentioning children. They are such a part of life its weird to feel like I have to filter stuff about them out to post in the main WTO or TWW threads. I don't want to be insensitive to anyone else on here, so I try to TW at least or not mention them, but I guess I just wish there was space where I didn't need to worry about filtering still like there was before.

@nond135 @supercoolstephy I think it's just don't sit there and Every. Single. Post. Say oh I was chasing after my kid, omg they did the cutest thing, omg I'm so tired I was up all night with my son, or guys my son is really testing my patience.

I've brought him up randomly (weekend plans obviously involving a children's activity) or that I was stressing the day before he had minor surgery for ear tubes and I've never received a bad response from any of the ladies who don't have kids. They were all extremely supportive regarding his tubes and I didn't get the sense that I really touched a nerve with anyone.

My son is a huge part of my life but I'm not going to just bring him up just to bring him up on the daily threads. Like, do the ladies who would kill to be up all night with a kid need to hear me bitch bc mine was fussy last night? Or how bad your boobs hurt from nursing? Nah

Just my opinion on the whole bringing up kids thing....

@supercoolstephy and @nond135, it's not necessarily a TW but more that it's the wrong audience. Many women here are trying really hard just to get their first. It's not the place to talk about your existing children. This is a safe place to talk about TTC. Maybe someone is having a rough TTC day and it feels like a slap in the face to talk about how much your kids are annoying you. If you're bursting to mention them, go for it. No one will flame you. It's just one of those things to be mindful of.

I'd say moral of the story is you won't get flamed for bringing up your child(ren). They're part of who we are and they're going to be brought up in conversation.
I just consider my audience when making different comments. If I went for a walk tonight with my son, I'd leave it at, "I got outside for a walk today after work." Stuff like that.

WTO/TWW? WTO (even though FF says I ovulated on CD9. There's just no way, so I discarded the temp that caused the dotted CHs).

Ages of other child(ren)? 14 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just trying not to get my hopes up too much because I still don't know what my new normal is after coming off the mini pill. Also, DH is traveling a lot for work so if this cycle doesn't work, I'm already afraid we could miss FW next cycle. Totally premature concern, since I can't even reliably predict when AF will come because of my PCOS. This also means I'm basically treating a 9 or 10 day window as FW so that we hopefully get at least some timing in. My cycles are anywhere from 40-65 days long.

I'm kinda 'meh' about Mother's Day. The only thing I know for sure is I'm going to an orangetheory class since I haven't been able to work out lately with DH traveling and me having to parent solo for 2 weeks.

TTC for a second child! My first was a total accident but one of the best I've ever had. He's 17.5 months now.

I'm in my first month of TTC as I just had my IUD removed. Since I had regular periods while on it, she said I could feasibly get pregnant in a couple week when I ovulate. I know it's probably not likely but I kinda hope it works out that quickly.

I kinda miss being pregnant. Anyone else feel like that?

Any thoughts about this cycle? I have been sick for 4 days now and I am overanalyzing it as a preggo symptom. But who knows? Just anxious to test and see.
