1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? (Check out babysizer.com if you haven't yet!)
5 weeks and depending on which app I use, baby is either as big as a peppercorn or an apple seed!

2. How are you feeling?
Still good. Not as tired as I have been, still some cramping but not as much, and a very brief wave of nausea this morning.

3. Any appointments this week?
Nope, none until May 30th and it can't come soon enough! I'm an anxious person by nature so not knowing that everything is okay is keeping me from really getting excited.

4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rave: After coming home empty handed on Monday, my husband showed up Tuesday night with a crab cake sandwich in hand and it was everything I wanted it to be.
Rant: It has never been so hard to keep a secret! I kept my friend's pregnancy a secret for over 6 weeks without even coming close to cracking but I've almost blurted mine out several times.

5. What is the last movie you saw in theaters?
Beauty and the Beast. We might go see King Arthur this weekend if we have time.

2. How are you feeling? Nausea set in yesterday, my boobs are starting to get sore especially when nursing DD, and still having to pee all the time.

3. Any appointments this week? Nothing until June 13th. So long to wait!!

4. Rants, raves, questions? I just finished a workout and I feel really good. I hadn't done one all week because I've been so tired but I just bit the bullet and did it today and feel much better.

5. What is the last movie you saw in theaters? La La Land. We don't go very often. Wanted to get to Beauty and the Beast, but we may have missed it.

Appleseed, but that seems unrealistic. They aren't really a standard size...

2. How are you feeling?
Surprisingly, really good! Minimal nausea and fatigue, camping is mostly gone. Just bloated and my boobs grew overnight. Hoping for an easier pregnancy this time!

3. Any appointments this week?
Not until June.

4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rave: My H was really sweet last night, bringing me whatever I needed and getting our son to bed while I laid in bed with a migraine.
Rant: I nanny for a teacher, so I don't work over the summer. My mom will. not. stop. texting/emailing me job openings. MAYBE if I weren't pregnant, I'd entertain the idea of getting a "summer job", but it's the last summer I'll have an only child. I'd like to enjoy that. I'm also not telling my mom that I'm pregnant yet because she had a not-so-great reaction to #1. So we're keeping this secret from everyone for a few more months. And it's definitely the hardest secret I've ever kept!

5. What is the last movie you saw in theaters?
Beauty and the Beast, and it was fantastic! Not sure why it got so many bad reviews... Next one we will probably see in theaters is Cars 3. We're definitely more excited about it than DS is.

5 weeks, appleseed! Thinking I may need to eat an apple today and investigate.

2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good! Mornings are good, I feel my worst at night. Back pain is my newest symptom.

3. Any appointments this week?
Nope! Had my first this past Tuesday, next one is June 12th!

4. Rants, raves, questions?
My breast pain comes and goes on the daily. Burning an aching to nothing! Normal?

5. What is the last movie you saw in theaters?
I think it was "Why Him" back around Christmas time. I have some tickets waiting to be used but there hasn't been anything I've been dying to see!

6 weeks!! Baby is the size of a sweet pea. Apparently it has doubled in size since last week which is nuts!

Still some mild nausea, exhausted, bloated and constantly thirsty...

Nope not for awhile

So since I've gotten KU'd, I've had to go to 2 events that involved drinking, and have at least 5 more planned until I hit 12 weeks! I'm going crazy trying to figure out ways to avoid drinking or pretend to drink! It is so stressful! I can't wait until I'm 12 weeks and can just say "Can't drink - I'm pregnant" lol.
5. What is the last movie you saw in theaters?
Guardians of the Galaxy v2. It was really good! Not sure which one we will try to see next...

@makstew My back was really sore during weeks 4 & part way through 5. It has actually not been as bad the last few days.
@mamakassie2 Loved beauty and the beast! I don't know why it got so many bad reviews either.

@darkrose88 I know what you mean with trying to hide the no drinking. Im actually having to tell my family this weekend and our 2 close friends the end of this month because everyone knows I dont turn down drinks. Its a dead giveaway :-/ I can fake it at maybe some other events but the family and close friends will know so Id rather surprise them early then them figure it out. God forbid something bad happens, but at least my family and closest 2 friends will be there for support.

@miranda21037 I actually just told a friend today - we are celebrating her birthday tonight and she would for sure notice if I wasn't drinking. So now instead, she is going to help cover for me when I only have 1 "drink" (aka a virgin margarita I'm getting at the bar lol).

I was supposed to go to a coaching conference this weekend with some coworkers who really love their wine/beer. They've decided not to go, thank goodness! It would have been so hard to hide. I was planning on the antibiotic/can't mix with alcohol excuse, which also 'turns my tummy' just in case morning sickness hit me.

Do you all have any other excuses or ways to hide it?

@makstew I think at more casual events I can probably just lie, order a cranberry juice and people will think there's vodka in it. I also thought about just "sharing beers" with DH. Fake drinking and make him drink all the beers hahaha

@makstew other than using juice in place of wine, I also told everyone I was doing a sugar detox which means no alcohol. I had a few excuses, now that I think about it.

First blood draw on Monday. I have to drag the 2.5yo along so that should be interesting.

Why did I have to find out RIGHT AFTER I bought 2 bottles of wine and a new jug of iced coffee? They're all sitting in the fridge mocking me.
5. What is the last movie you saw in theaters?
Rogue One. We went to one of those fancy theaters with reclining seats and cocktails for my birthday. Which, incidentally, is only 2 days off from Thing 2's due date so there's a good chance of a birthday baby. Thing 1 was born on my husband's sister's and grandfather's birthday so it would be cool to pull it off twice.

@bainidhedub I was gifted a bottle of my favorite wine at our 'end of the season banquet' and I found out I was expecting a day later. It's also sitting in my fridge mocking me. It's going to my bff who knows about our appleseed! Our EDD is my dad's birthday, and is two days after my birthday as well. Best birthday presents ever!

Overall I'm feeling pretty good, just some exhaustion and nausea if I'm hungry (which is all the time but as long as I eat something I'm fine)

Nope, Have to find a Dr. and make the appointment

And this thread made me so happy I don't drink (anymore). I gave it up entirely years ago and incidentally was unexpectedly pregnant 2 months later. In hindsight, that was a great thing! No one asked any questions!

2. How are you feeling? Physically pretty good, just some sore boobs and exhaustion mostly. Emotionally a bit up and down (I've had two early losses), but mostly surprisingly calm.

3. Any appointments this week? Third beta on Wednesday (5/17)

5. What is the last movie you saw in theaters? Probably Get Out (loved it!!!) but hoping to see Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend.
