Hi Ladies!
New to this board, but not new to TB or IF, secondary IF specifically. The SIF board is suuuuuper slow so I was hoping to hang out around these parts if it's OK with you?
A bit about me: (*TW*) I had a natural BFP at 22 which gave me my 10 year old daughter. We struggled with unexplained SIF for a number of years, worked with an RE, and I had my 5 year old son. Struggled with SIF again but decided not to pursue treatments again for various reasons (cost, stress, allergic reaction to meds, etc.). After 4.5 years I got a natural BFP last October. I had an awful time with SCHs during the little time I was pregnant and ended up miscarrying at 9w1d due to a massive SCH and blood clot affecting the placenta, just 2 days after seeing my bouncing little baby on an u/s. After we lost our baby, it kind of pushed DH and I into getting serious about trying again and we went back to using an RE. Would have gone straight to IVF but DH found it overwhelming (and then there's the whole cost factor), so we're embarking on our second IUI right now (first was a bust). Might try one more IUI if this cycle doesn't work and then I'm interested in moving on to IVF. All of my testing is within normal ranges, as is DH's (although his motility is slightly low), so my RE suspects that there may be an egg quality issue at play and is on board with moving quickly.
Anyway, I've been a dirty lurker but it's taken me a long time to be able to "officially" come back to the boards as my loss was fairly traumatic (as they tend to be....). Our families (and most of our friends) have NO idea about our struggles over the years and we did not tell them about the pregnancy/miscarriage either so I have been feeling a little lost/isolated without having other women to connect with. But, I'm feeling good about moving forward and being here and getting to know you all.

I'm so sorry to hear about your losses - I've only had one and that was hard enough. I can only imagine the toll that multiple losses takes. Hugs, mama.
