I told my boss that I am pregnant and he says, "Is there anything wrong with this one?" Who says that??? No congratulations, nothing, just is there anything wrong with this one. SMH

8/15 - Officially pregnant with TWINS
9/1 - Baby B no longer has a heartbeat, Baby A is holding on! 9/29 - MMC
Duuuuuuude. My boss. Ugh. I'm a nanny, and this morning I was getting lunches together for the girls. The mom asks how I'm feeling. I say, I'm feeling ok, nauseous, bloated, etc, but right on track. And she says "oh well, it's still early, anything could happen. I had a MC at 10 weeks, you know. It's was so awful." And then proceeded to tell me alllllllllllllllllllllll about it. Here's why this annoys the absolute SHIT out of me: A: I've already heard this story 5 times. B: I haven't had any coffee yet - I literally just woke up. Do you think I'm in the mood to hear this right now? C: I'm aware that anything could happen. Thank you. It's pretty much 85% of what I think about anytime I think about this pregnancy. But your reminder that I could MC at any time really helps me come back down to reality. Are you happy now?
Wtf to my new ob who won't just prescribe me meds. I called asking for a prescription for diclegis and zofran. I'm throwing up six times a day, borderline iv hydration, and had hg with both previous pregnancies. I do not want to unnecessarily drug myself and I'm not making a mountain out of a mole hill. This isn't my first rodeo! That is all.
@holzie-2 wtf?? That's just plain rude! I told my girlfriends I was pregnant this last weekend because we were going to a wine tasting bridal shower and all I got were crickets. Silence and mouths hanging wide open. I was like, "the appropriate response is congratulations." We are telling our parents this weekend, I'm really curious to hear what they say considering SO's mom's first comment last time was "well are you going to get married?" I'm anticipating hearing that one again too.
I have lots of wtf's today but the two plaguing me right now are:
1. Wtf - did I really pay $112 for a 3 day supply of diclegis...yup I did Bc my ins won't approve refill until Friday (ps - I found out after that there is a coupon on manufacturers website for all that need it! I called pharmacy and they said it wouldn't apply to me though so that sucks)
2. Wtf to my assistant manager - who by the way just was promoted less than 2 months ago - I emailed him about a process change and he responded with all the reasons he thought I was wrong..no...I don't just make up process changes for the heck of it. (Especially right now when I have zero desire to do any work). This came from higher ups. Why can't you just do something instead of argue with me about every little thing. I've been a senior manager for almost 10 years....I know what I'm doing.
@tmk0325 lol I heard the marriage one a lot when we got pregnant with DS. It didn't end until we actually got married this past January (and we basically got married then so that I can be on DH's ins which had infertility coverage...we would have eventually but that expedited it a bit) people should learn that it's 2017 and families come in all shapes and sizes.
Trust me @NME44 I I'm counting the days until I can peace out of that job and NEVER LOOK BACK! (Except to visit the girls, of course, cause I love them)
WTF to the passive aggressive friend on facebook giving me crap for saying I've often "endured" sex with my husband to help him feel better even when I'm totally not in the mood. Sex makes him feel better and when he's in a better mood, everyone benefits. (She posted about how this was not loving. False. Having sex because I know it will make him feel loved and feel better is the very definition of loving).
My WTF is to one of my coworkers who loves to throw me under the bus for anything that doesn't go according to plan. He loves to defer all responsibility for anything that doesn't go the "right" way, yet miraculously takes all the credit for things that do go well. Ugghhh.
@holzie-2@tmk0325 ugh how rude! I don't think I've ever responded to someone's pregnancy news without saying "omg congrats!" first.
We ended up telling DH's two siblings and their spouses because we knew they knew -- and their response was "yeah we know." No congrats or hugs or anything. Both couples had babies fairly recently and were acting like wise old pros, giving us unwanted advice on how to handle pregnancy and whatnot. Enormous eye roll. I feel bad for DH because his siblings always seem to get the good attention first and then his news is thrown by the wayside, such as our engagement, wedding, and baby news. It only happens like a year or two behind everyone, but no one seems to care very much. It's old news to them. I'm the oldest in my family so I'm used to a little more attention for being the first to do stuff, but I could never imagine reacting to my younger siblings' major life news in such a casual/dickhead manner.

I am way too lazy to tag everyone, but holy crap, I want to punch all of your WTFs in the face!
Except: @breezybee, I hope this boss isn't the one married to an RE who I know does something in the women's health field (can't remember what exactly). Because geez, bedside manner much?!
@peachy13, I kind of know how that feels. This is my 4th pregnancy and 4 for 4 one of my SILs was also pregnant at the same time. This time one is "accidentally" pregnant (but she wasn't using anything to prevent.) I'm just over it. Doesn't make my kids any less loved or less special.
No no no no @MJDsquared. This is my OTHER family that I work with 2 days a week. She's old money and doesn't work and just loves to hang out in the kitchen while I make lunches and cook dinner and give her opinion about everything. I just stay at this job because is easy money and I make my own hours, but god I hate it sometimes.
I'm a day late, but WTF to my mother in law. Apparently she told my brother in law that Rosie (the first grandchild in their family) will always be the favorite because she is the first. Uh, what?!
