Hi!! Has any one been having issues with excessive sleepiness or on the other end insomnia?
I'm 6w4 says and since I found out I was pregnant I've been having this issue with not being able to sleep bc my stomach hurts, my stomach is upset, I'm hot etc. I went to bed at 9 today, woke up at 1140...had an Italian ice and a zantac to cool down my stomach but now I'm just up... Anyone else having issues sleeping?
This is strange because mid day I get very tired and can nap for hours but I do not unless I have a work from home day.
I know my sleep hygiene is not the best lately but usually if I'm tired I can sleep. When I'm not pregnant 6 weeks ago lol I could sleep from 8p to 5 am everyday and 9p to 530a was my sleep schedule.
Hellp.. anyone having this issue? Any STM had this issue?
Re: How's your sleep?
But in the beginning when DD was nursing she would wake up in that time frame wanting to eat, so my body was used to it. (Doesn't work like that for everyone I guess I got lucky) I'm trying to tell myself the same thing will happen with this one So I'm not so bummed about not getting good sleep.
I'm SAHM currently and I've learned to the advantage of nap time when I can even if it's just laying down ave putting my feet up while I catch up on some tv.
Here's to going our bodies will work this out as we can get some sleep soon!!!
What I found helpful was getting up and drinking some chocolate milk and eating a banana. The banana eventually helped with cramps and the milk helped calm my stomach. I also learned some meditation exercises and did those and it usually helped me get drowsy enough to fall back asleep.
