    How far along are you?
    28 weeks
    How are you doing?
Mostly great. I'm fighting a battle of what's worse, nausea or exhaustion and lack of energy. If I take Unisom nightly, my nausea is much better. But then I'm miserably exhausted.
    When is your next appointment?
Friday! And it's a dousy between the glucose test, TDAP shot and Rhogam shot.
    Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I have a three day weekend this weekend to spend with my family!
GTKY: How many kiddos do you hope to have?
    3. This is the last one for us!

  • @a2003tiger oof, GL on Friday! I have to do the glucose and TDAP at 28 wks, too, and I'm dreading it.

How far along are you? 24+2

How are you doing? fine. No complaints.

When is your next appointment? June 1st for my 28 wk appt.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Rant: along the lines of the "how are you doing" question- EVERYONE asks me this and my response is always "fine" and they look at me like I should be saying more. What do they want me to say? I'm lucky enough to be out of the first tri sickness phase and I'm not in the third tri uncomfortable phase yet, so I'm counting my blessings that I'm feeling okay.

GTKY: How many kiddos do you hope to have?
Can't say- I'll start with one and see how that goes.
  • @a2003tiger  GL at your appointment this week!  Im surprised they are throwing all of that at you at once.  FX you pass the GD test!

@szwill86 Ive started to respond with more realistic things if they apply. On Easter, at church, I was having a wicked hot flash, and people kept asking me how I was and my response was "HOT" and I just kept walking out, becuase I felt horrible, and needed to cool off.  Sometimes you just have to be honest and if people dont want to hear that, then they will stop asking you.

    How far along are you?
    27 weeks, Third Trimester!

How are you doing?  Not too bad.  This weekend is going to be full of emotions for me, but more good than sad.  I just have to get over the thoughts of "my baby should have been here" and focus more on the accomplishments of my sister (her graduation is this weekend) and celebrating my mom, and being with my family who I haven't seen in months.  I am really looking forward to this trip, and I dont want to dwell on the things that make me sad.

When is your next appointment?  two more weeks, then I am on a bi-weekly schedule!

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I think DH and I settled on a name for our little dude.  We arent sharing with anyone, but I feel so happy about this name, and DH was the one who picked it to begin with, so I think he is elated!

GTKY: How many kiddos do you hope to have?
At least 2.  I keep thinking about 3, but DH is on the 2 train.  We have settled on having this kid, and then waiting until hes at least 9 months, before we start trying again, and that would be more NTNP, then around his 12 month, really TTC.  This way they are close in age, and we can still decide if 3 will be in the cards or not.

    When is your next appointment?
    Next Monday.
    Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Rave: the baby is moving more!
Rant: Everyone keeps asking what we are naming the baby. I say I don't know (we make a list and pick when we see the baby) and then they offer a longggg list of names. Most I hate.
GTKY: How many kiddos do you hope to have?
I used to say 4-5. I am already 35, and I don't ovulate while nursing, so I don't know if we will end up with that many. Also, finances seem to be tighter the more we have. I can't imagine paying for three in daycare (my stepson is in school) and staying home is not an option for me. Sorry for the novel....

@a2003tiger Good luck this week! Hoping you pass that nasty test!

@szwill86 I have told a few people "ask me after I give birth to this one!" when asked how many. I also hate the how are you feeling question, especially because I feel pretty great (yay second trimester!) My coworkers ask DAILY. So sometimes I reply tired (I do have a toddler) or HUGE (which is a lie) just to shut them up.
  • @Kudlica27 We tell people the same thing.  We have a list, but are like 99% sure we know the name (which is exciting).  My Mom offered up a list last time we saw her, and then began to go over names that she hates, and one was the name we actually picked!  We didnt say anything, but poor DH was so sad.  He got over it, and Im sure that my mom will feel very different when she meets little dude, but its so annoying.  People need to stop giving their opinions on this!

  • @a2003tiger  woof! That stinks! At least you'll be done then? Right? Positivity? lol
    @szwill86 EVERYONE ASKS E V E R Y T I M E they see me. I'm like I'm here aren't I? I'm walking upright and still at a normal pace. I'm FINE! lol

    How far along are you?

    26+2

    How are you doing?
    Can't complain

    When is your next appointment?
Apparently I go every 3 weeks now so 5/24. Regular prenatal as far as I know

    Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Rave: Baby shower is over! It was so fun and got all of our big items other than the convertible carseat but I'll get those later on. Let that anxiety sink down now lol I can't stop shopping for her though. I don't know what my problem is!!!!

Rant: Stupid builder will only move our closing date up by a week. Meanwhile last Wednesday we were waiting for hardwood, carpet and toilets to be in. Everything else is installed including landscaping. Come on people. LET ME GIVE YOU MONEY EARLY! Now build anxiety of moving lol

GTKY: How many kiddos do you hope to have?
DH would love 3... I'm gunna see how this girl turns out before deciding to make anymore lol I made him agree with me that we'd wait until she goes to preschool before trying for another. I want to love on her like nobody's business for as long as I can! Been too long of a journey to get here.

How far along are you? 26+1

How are you doing? I'm doing better now that the movement has picked up but the pains have also increased and my logical mind knows it's normal but my PGAL brain freaks out until the next kick

When is your next appointment? May 23rd but I have to do the glucose a few days before

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I feel you all on the people with names!  We're team green so when people ask I just say "we have a few months to decide so we'll see"

GTKY: How many kiddos do you hope to have? I've always wanted a soccer team haha so about 10. But DH wants 3. So we agreed to just re-evaluate our lives and finances after each one and we'll see! I haven't had much of a sex drive since the beginning of this pregnancy so DH jokes that his sex life can't afford me to be pregnant that much haha I told him if that's the worst thing happening for him while I'm puking and basically peeing my pants and laboring then he'll survive. Men are so dramatic haha

@a2003tiger to me the nausea is worse because being sick makes me eat and drink less and then I get exhausted from that so it's either both or just exhaustion !

@szwill86 to the "how are you feeling?" Sometimes I say "like I'm growing another human." What do you want from me? A detailed explanation of my emotions and pains?

@littlebug2010 sorry for the inevitable emotions to come but I hope the weekend goes well and the joy keeps your spirits up!  Also, congrats on choosing a name! That's so exciting to be able to call him by it :)

@kudlica27 I had a lady in line at the DMV offer me names for girls since she could "just tell" that it's a girl.... they were all horrendous and I had a hard time just smiling and nodding.

@cmmiller531 when are you supposed to be able to move in? Sorry that the builder is causing stress but hopefully it'll be worth it to have an awesome house for a little one :)
  • How far along are you?

    How are you doing?
I'm doing pretty well.  I feel good and am hoping that continues.  I had more BH last week, but they seem to happen less often now.  They make me a little nervous even though I know they're normal.

    When is your next appointment?
At the end of next week.

    Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
DS1 finally felt the baby kick tonight.  DS2 felt the kicks several weeks ago.  I tried to get DS1 to feel kicks several times, but the baby stopped or the kicks weren't as strong once DS1 had his hand on my belly.  Tonight he felt a few

GTKY: How many kiddos do you hope to have?

This will be our third and last.  For a variety of reasons, I know we're done, but I wonder if I'll ever feel truly done.  In the first trimester, I definitely had the feeling of not wanting to go through this again, but once I started feeling better, I've been enjoying the pregnancy and trying to savor every moment knowing this is my last.  I'm hoping once the baby is here and I see how hectic life is with managing 3, I'll feel that our family is complete.

  • How far along?
     26 +1 weeks.

    How are you doing?
I'm good, my only complaint is I get round ligament pain on my right hand side when I run so my pace is really slow. Aside from having that trouble while exercising I'm feeling good.

    When is your next appointment?
May 25th is my 28 week appointment and my glucose visit... my least favorite visit of the whole pregnancy. Then I'll have one at 29 weeks for a U/S.

    Rant/Raves/Positive Vibes:
My job was moved to the U.K., I luckily found a new job, that was offered to me in late March.. they've done the background checks and are still going through bureaucratic b.s before sending out the formal offer letter via mail to sign. It's kind of driving me nuts and giving me anxiety that I'll start so close to my due date and it will make it an awkward situation starting off. Just a bad frustrating situation that I'm done stressing over (but still am) and it's being so ridiculously dragged out. As a result, I haven't announced to barely anyone and I was so excited for this pregnancy after my losses.. not doing this baby justice.

GTKY: I've always wanted 3, so this will be the last one. I'm 32, so I'll have to figure the rest of that out after this one, but if 4 happened I'd just roll with it and be grateful. Financially / how many kids we can both handle wise though- we both agreed on 3.
