GTKY: What is something you really enjoy about pregnancy?
Love feeling and seeing all the movement. DH thinks it's creepy, but I love it!

Upcoming appointments this week? Had 3 hr glucose yesterday and am anxiously awaiting results. OB appt tomorrow.
Any new symptoms or changes? Sometimes there is an uncomfortable, almost painful pressure in lower abdomen region which make bending tough.

GTKY: What is something you really enjoy about pregnancy? I enjoy the baby movements, too. Having my husband carry all the heavy stuff as well even though it is inconvenient.

How far along are you? 27 weeks
How big is baby? Lettuce. This has to be the weirdest bump comparison to-date.
Upcoming appointments this week? None this week - glucose test and 28 week appointment on the 17th
Any new symptoms or changes? Been feeling some tightening in the lower part of my stomach, which I assume is either Braxton Hicks or RLP.. Not very painful, just uncomfortable and usually goes away when I lay down. Also feeling tons of movement every day which is awesome!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: Someone purchased the high chair we registered for and it showed up at the house yesterday! DH is also coming home from a business trip tonight - I don't love sleeping by myself/being at the house alone at night. I sound like a 2-year old...but my dog always seems extra alert and barks at every little noise, which freaks me out. He probably senses that I'm nervous so goes into protection mode. Rant: My allergies are out of control..anyone else? My eyes are literally watering to the point where people at work are asking if I'm crying. YES...I'm sobbing at my desk because I'm pregnant and hormonal. Not. Thank you for asking.
GTKY: What is something you really enjoy about pregnancy? I also love feeling the movement and having DH finally feel kicks. I also really love my bump! It's just amazing to me and I enjoy finding different clothes that accentuate it.

Upcoming appointments this week?
I had my glucose test last week and a check up yesterday. Both were fine and boring. I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing the heartbeat at the end of my appt
Any new symptoms or changes?
Finally started feeling movement!!!! I've felt so left out with my anterior placenta! It's still small and subtle, but definitely different from gas bubbles. It started during the glucose test.

Boobs are stupid and I hate them. I had very large breasts since high school until I lost 65+ lbs after college. My loose skin had finally tightened up and I was just getting used to/enjoying having small breasts (so many clothing options!!!!) when I got pregnant and these things ballooned back up to, well, balloon-size. All of my clothes look ridiculous now. I'm a dance teacher and none of my leotards fit my chest, even my XXL fat girl ones from college.
GTKY: What is something you really enjoy about pregnancy?
I love how sweet my husband has been to me since I told him. I mean, he's always a good partner, but now he's extra.

Any new symptoms or changes?
I feel like I am drowning in acid! This acid reflux is out of control. It doesn't matter what I eat, how much I eat, or when I eat. I'm planning to talk to my OB tomorrow about it. Also, I've been getting lower abdominal tightening/pain that I assume might be Braxton Hicks.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
I have lots of rants this week. My back pain is getting significantly worse, and my energy level is at a new low. Also, I'm tired of people commenting on how small my baby bump looks for how far along I am. Whenever I'm asked how far along I am, people look shocked when I tell them. I feel like baby is positioned really far back and smashing all of my insides which is why my baby bump looks "small" and why I have terrible heartburn and shortness of breath. It doesn't help when people at work say that it is too early for me to be having any of these issues, and it is even more annoying because most of these comments come from women who have never been pregnant or men.
GTKY: What is something you really enjoy about pregnancy?
I still love feeling baby move, but I think that I love it even more when DH feels the baby move. I also enjoy getting the nursery ready.

Any new symptoms or changes?
I've been having Braxton Hicks like crazy ANY time I walk. They subside when I sit or lay down, though.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave: I'm expecting twins and found out during my ultrasound that Baby B only has a 2-vessel cord. It wasn't until I reviewed my online chart that I discovered that she also is having some issues with releasing urine from her kidneys due to the cord issue. I spoke with my doctor multiple times before finding this out on my own and he never mentioned it. What the h*ll!? I ended up Googling what I found on my chart and scared myself way more than necessary before finding a doctor's journal with more accurate information. THANKS FOR THE D*NN HEART ATTACK, DOC!!!
