This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have hit a roadblock and are delaying for whatever reason. You
can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on not TTC and
connect with others who are in the same boat. TTC can be a long journey,
and having to wait makes it feel even longer -- even if it is for a
good reason. I invite you to resurrect this thread at any point in the
week if you have something to say. Treat this like an ongoing
conversation.
Benched = involuntarily not NTNP/TTC and "out of the game," usually due to medical reasons
TTA
= avoiding pregnancy by using protection or FAM, usually for
non-health-related reasons

GTKY: Do you prefer gorgeous sunrises or epic sunsets? I'm gonna say sunsets, because I'm rarely awake and outside for sunrise. But I can see how watching sunrise in my jammies with a cup of coffee would be amazing.

Right now the earliest DH can have his procedure us late June, but if getting coverage in place obligated us to push it back a few more weeks, that's okay too! Once that happens we'll know if we can move forward with ivf... or if we have to come up with another gameplan alltogether. :/</div><div>

GTKY: Do you prefer gorgeous sunrises or epic sunsets? Both are pretty awesome, but sunsets are much easier to be awake for. And it's much more socially acceptable to enjoy a sunset with a glass of wine
@msmeeseeks Yeah, that OBGYN did not sound good. I once had an OBGYN mail me a letter to cancel an appointment I had, and when I opened it there was another patient's name on there. I don't know why your robocall made me think of that.
@AlohaKumu Sorry about all of your foot issues! That's pretty awesome that you're able to work from home and get some rest though!

GTKY: Do you prefer gorgeous sunrises or epic sunsets? Sunsets. Sunrises mean you have to be awake at sunrise time, and who wants that? Most gorgeous sunset I've seen is in Oia in Santorini. TAKE ME BACK!!

I'm so excited for you!!!! I know that you don't want to get too excited about the coverage until after YH's procedure next month, but remember that a step forward is a step forward no matter how small or the uncertainty of it.

ETA He says he doesn't want to, "ride the rollercoaster," with me, and I don't blame him. So I mean, bless his heart, I think he feels the need to guard it.... :/
