Advice for bloating during stims

I just got the most amazing thing, and I wish to heck that I'd known about it back when I did stimming for my earlier IVFs.  

I got my BFP very recently, and I'm 5 weeks, 6 days, following my third attempt at IVF.  I'm months away from having any bump, but I definitely have the belly bloat.  

This last cycle I didn't use my own ovaries, but we made it work using my wife's.  I had two IVF attempts previously, that were cancelled for poor response, but I still bloated like CRAZY when it happened.

Are you about to stim?  Are you in it, and already bloating?

Girl, get yourself to Target and get a belly band.  They have a cheap knock-off version, just under $20.  You put it on over your pants, and you leave your pants totally unbuttoned and unzipped.  The band just looks like the bottom of a cami that you might be wearing under your top.  I got black, because all of my work suits are black, and it looks totally professional.  It really looks like the bottom of a cami, not maternity clothes at all, but it lets you breathe.  (For me, I wear suit jackets, and they hang down over the bottom of it, but any un-tucked blouse would probably also cover it up.)

I didn't know about this, so I spent weeks in stretchy skirts and that one pair of pants that were too big around my butt and legs, but it was the only pair that fit my tender belly, and I didn't have to do all that!

You can wear the pants that fit your butt, and you don't have to button them.  Give it a try.

I don't sell the things, or work for Target, or anything like that.  I just want my fellow IVF warriors to have all the tools that they need.
