My insurance will cover the Materniti21 testing!

Hearing about how old you are at every turn.

First timer!
3. Best thing about being AMA?
1) my insurance covers a lot more screening tests
2) I feel like I'm more chill than a lot of younger pregnant moms I've known? At this point, I've helped multiple siblings/cousins/friends through pregnancies and babies, so I'm not freaking about every little thing.
4. Worst thing about being AMA?
Not sure yet...talk to me again after I go to my first OB appointment this afternoon
5. Bonus: Which Golden Girl are you?
Dorothy Zbornak all the way. I even named my car after her
2. 5th pregnancy. Only 3rd being AMA.it's complicated.
3. Best thing About bring AMA?
My other 2 are older and independent.
Not really even sure that applies but oh well.
4. Worst part? The worry. I lost my daughter Nora 14 months ago to Trisomy 18 ( Edwards Syndrome) at 23 weeks. It is significantly more common as women age. Although my chances of it happening a 2nd time is next to nothing.

4. Worst thing about being AMA? all of the pregnancy risks associated with aging reproductive system
5. Bonus: Which Golden Girl are you? I ought to say Sophia since I'm the oldest, but I've always thought I'm like a golden girls mullet: Dorothy on the top and Blanche in the back...LOL Or to put it better, I talk like Dorothy and think like Blanche
@b48kate There isn't a "best" Girl... they are all so awesome! But for sure without a Blanche, the show would've been flat

I got my sh$t together finally. I feel like I've done so much in my life with travel and experiences that I'm ready to focus 100% on someone else and share the world with them.

The thought of running out of time.

I am a little over-the-top some (most) times.

STM (barely; my first was only 4 months at my LMP) I finished my last pregnancy at 35.

No one seems to care too much.

The possibility of genetic defects.

I think I'm the most like Dorothy, constantly begging the people around me to have some common sense.

4. Worst thing about being AMA? I never used to be a worrier but now I can't stop. I hate Google!!
5. Bonus: Which Golden Girl are you? I used to be a bit Blanche and a bit Sophia but I'm all Sophia now.

FTM, first time ever being pregnant.
3. Best thing about being AMA? I didn't start working as a maternal/child health nurse until last year, I would have been a great mom when I was younger, but with my job and the financial security we have now I will be a flipping fantastic mom
4. Worst thing about being AMA? having an AMA body. I look like I'm in my mid-twenties, but my body feels and acts it's age! My IVF cycle was spot on for a woman my age, but I caught staff correcting themselves after looking at my age several times. The MD even went from a "surprisingly low response" statement to a "normal for your age" statement at one visit, haha

I know myself and my partner really well, we're really good at teamwork and finding solutions together.

Dorothy. But I live in the country, so to get by socially I often pretend to be a Rose.

4. I am so so exhausted, and I wonder if it's worse since I'm older.
5. This is really hard, I feel like I have parts of Rose, Blanch and Dorothy. But I'll go with Rose today. Especially with pregnancy brain!

3. Best thing about being AMA? Being soooo ready for children. I feel like, at this stage of my life, there is noting more important, nothing else that I want to be doing more than caring for little ones. I have already been out there having fun and running amok for plenty of time. I am so done with me. Ready to focus on my littles.
4. Worst thing about being AMA? Sometimes I get self conscious that I look old to be pregnant. Luckily most people that don't know me guess that I am in my 20's.
