Someone created a Poll for my Nov-16 Board and I loved checking in on the results. I have yet to find out the sex of my baby, but would love to celebrate with you all!

Team Green, feel free to come back after birth and update us :-)

@emucoleman I don't think anyone- yet! Some still aren't having u/s appointments until ~20w so there may still be a few more babies among us!
Eta: Oh- I see that you can view the results! Wow, yes- Congrats!

@ariasbabyblog I feel the same about a girl. I'm used to my boy but I think we will adapt just fine. I'm following @cubsfan7 advice and looking forward to mani/pedi's. I'm pretty excited looking at girlie clothes and accessories.

@cubsfan7 and @av2323 I might look forward to those more if I were a girly girl, but I'm really not. My idea of doing my hair is brushing it. I don't even own a hairdryer for hair. We have one in the house and it's used to help prevent diaper rash. I'm also not a fan of girl's clothing (too much pink and glitter and ruffles). I'm sure I'll figure something out, but I admit when the doc said "it's a girl!" I kinda panicked a little.

@ariasbabyblog I am not a girly girl either but after having a boy, I long for a girl. lol. Life is all monster trucks and playing in the dirt. I'm not exactly about that life. lol! Not to mention that they have very basic clothing. If I have another boy, I'll be happy as a happy, healthy baby is all I want but I would be ecstatic if I have a girl. I also told hubby if we have a girl, we will be broke. haha

We're team green! We'd love a boy because we already have a girl and want one of each but secretly I think I want another girl because I'm terrified of raising a boy. Like I already have the girl thing down. It will be so new and crazy trying to figure out a boy.

. Haha. I'm sure we'll be fine no matter what though. We are ready for this!

@emucoleman I had to go check the multiples check in thread but @megmralph said she had quadruplets and @srh18 said she had triplets!

Very cool to have mom's or triplets or quads here! However, 16 of them? Anyone else questioning the validity of this?

@cmessamore Well, it does seem questionable but the one thing that choice option has different is that you don't need to indicate sex. So I'd almost expect it to be a more popular choice given that so few of us know the sex yet. Now, if that category were highest if another option was simply "singleton" then I'd definitely call foul!

@cmessamore Totally agree but I think a lot of people who aren't team green just aren't participating in the poll yet, but know they have a singleton. Whereas anyone with 3+ can vote now, not knowing sex, and even if they aren't an active board member.

I get that...I still don't think we have 16 moms having 3+ babies right now...if we do, they should totally introduce themselves...

I agree. Or if there's really that many 3+ lurkers, can you imagine that number of singleton lurkers? Do that many people really consistently lurk??

@cmessamore totally agree I feel like there's no way we have 16 with triplets or more... statistically I don't think it makes sense. I did realize that I'm pretty active of some threads but only lurk or don't touch others, so maybe I'm a regular poster to some, but others have never heard my name simply because we haven't crossed paths. Food for thought.

Now, I'm not saying that I agree the 16 (now 17!) is valid but I'm more-so playing devils advocate here by pointing out that it's definitely possible given how the poll is written. I also think it's simpler to participate in a poll than post an intro if you're lurking. Maybe we should start a poll asking how many people are lurking!

Haha. Are there some people playing tricks on us...? It does seem like maybe women pregnant with triplets or more would be more likely to frantically search pregnancy forums.

eta: When I first replied there was only one for triplets or more....so it was a little more believable, hah.

I'm kind of bummed about it too. Agree with you ladies that if you are lurking leave the poll alone. I never provide input to other mommas BM. Anywho this was meant to be a fun way for our group to see the numbers so hopefully we continue to participate.

NT scan today and tech guessed boy, which was not what I was expecting haha. I voted boy but will see if that changes in a couple months.

@Roliepoliecoley4 @irishfrisky Same here! I was so shocked yesterday to learn it's a girl. In fact, I'm still in disbelief! I even bought a few boy outfits already, no joke (though in my defense I have a new nephew who I thought I'd give the clothes to if I were wrong!) So happy I didn't go team green because my hunch was so strong I couldn't even ponder "what if it's a girl". I'm really amused that I was wrong.

I had thought from the beginning this was a girl, but we have an ultrasound machine at work and we have found a penis twice now

so it's technically not the official result, but we are pretty darn sure we are correct.

At least you guys are feeling something. When I was pregnant with my son I knew from the very beginning that it was a boy. This one I just don't know. All my family is hoping for a girl but I'm not feeling it. I just can't wait to find out.

I am the only girl with four brothers, i was feeling like I am having a boy as FTM, Genetic blood testing comes back as a boy!!! I am happy to have a boy but now really want a girl for the next baby

There should be an option for multiples when you don't know the gender! We have twins (now) but don't plan to find out. So I can't really vote!

We should start a new poll with less options - male (single or multiples), female (single or multiples), male and female (multiples). I think there's less chance the poll gets messed with if there isn't a jaw-drop option like "triplets or more"
