Wishing everyone short, healthy, and happy births!!
At 6:33 PM, team green turned team pink. I'm still in shock thinking about bringing a little girl home. Lucia came into the world with a big bang, she cried the loudest most adorable cry ever. I couldn't believe her lungs were strong enough to cry so much. She weighed 3lbs 5oz and measured 16 inches long. She is doing well in the NICU and I already got her some liquid gold for her first feeding some time tomorrow. I hope to see her again tomorrow once I'm finally off of the magnesium. Thank you ladies for all the wonderful support.
Owen Thomas (photo 1) + Claire Mae (photo 2) were born today (3/6/17) at 1:15 pm (c) and 1:17 pm (o). O was 1250 g, C was 2000 g. Both adjusting to the world earthside. Thank you for all of your kind words and prayers. We all need more of that in this world.
My impatient duo made their appearance on Monday March, 13th. Fiona was 3lb 3oz and Delilah was 3lb 12oz. Despite needing to spend some time in the NICU, they are both doing wonderful!
My son thought he needed to arrive out of the blue! March 30, 2017 Henry James was born. 5lbs 5 Oz and 18 3/4 in long. Very quick delivery and I did not get to have any pain meds because he was in a hurry! I was at 35 weeks 3 days
William "will" Anthony decided to make his debut 7 weeks early this morning at 12:57am, he's 4lb 2oz and 17 in. In the NICU doing great! Breathing on his own with no help and a little sweetheart already❤
Ms. Estelle finally made her debut at 1:29 this morning! Super easy delivery with about 20 minutes of pushing. 6 pounds 2 ounces and a super full head of dark hair. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes during my labor!!
ETA: forgot a very important detail...doing well and so far looks like no NICU time despite her 36 week, 1 day arrival. Farewell, cholestasis...you will most certainly not be missed.
I haven't posted much but wanted to share the arrival of Emily! She arrived out of the blue at 36 weeks on the dot. We are home now and are both doing well! My water broke when I got out of bed at 6am April 10, the Dr. induced labor at 11am due to risk of infection and she arrived that evening at 5:35pm weighing 6 lbs 15ounces! . Edited to add picture!
We have babies!!! Lucy Mae (A) and Clara Marie (B) were born this morning at 11:20&11:47 respectively. I'll share our story tomorrow in a new thread! We are all doing well and thankful for no nicu!! Pics tomorrow, too:)
It was such a whirlwind but Sofie and Camille were born at 3:32 and 3:34 at 36w1d weighing 6 lbs 4 ozs and 6 lbs 6 ozs. The delivery went incredibly better than my emergency c section last time- after 20 minutes on cpap in the OR, they were cleared to be with us and I actually got to do skin to skin and nurse right away!!!! Sofie is a vigorous feeder and Camille is much lazier (the meds must be working bc I can't tell if I spelt lazier right....). We are keeping an eye on Camille however bc she has had a few episodes where she was having a bit of a hard time breathing but so far no NICU. One looks just like my precious Violet (who was thrilled to come see her babies and LOVED "holding" Sofie!) and the other looks like her daddy!!!! I'll add a picture in a bit!
Baby Scarlett slid into our world at 8:48pm on 4/18. She weighed a perfect 7lbs 4oz and has a head full of ginger hair!
Labor and induction were traumatizing. I ended up with a bad epi (wet tap) that only numbed me down to the top of my hips. So far no soinal headache...I felt everything in my vaginal area... After 8 hours of drugs to induce labor, I wasn't progressing past 3cm and my cervix was too high to reach. After high doses of pitocin all day, my water eventually broke and I went from 3cm to 10cm in 2 hours, feeling every bit of pain. After screaming for help, the anesthesiologist decided to redo my epi. I cried the whole time and baby crowned as he was finishing. I barely made it in my back when the nurse went to get doctor and her head came out. The epi kicked in and I laughed her out with no pushes as the dr ran in the room. No tears and no pain. She's a perfect sugar baby doll!
Had to stay in the nicu overnight for low sugars but she's good in my room now! Never want to experience that kind of labor again...
Mobile won't let me upload so I'll have to add photos later! Added!!
Isaac William arrived on 4/18, unexpectedly a day before schedule csection at 36w3d. He is currently in the NICU for breathing support via CPAP. After having a chance to rest and process the chaos, I'll share the story, but for now, we are happy he is here.
My little girl decided to make her arrival at 36 weeks 3 days on Palm Sunday, April 9. Evangeline Joy weighed 5 lbs 5.5oz & was 19 inches long. My labor lasted only about 7 hours! She was born "sunny side up" (face up) & with the hiccups! Eva has a ton of blonde hair, all the nurses were just raving about it. She spent some time under the respiratory umbrella (she had quite a bit of fluid in her lungs) and after going home we had to return to the hospital due to jaundice, but things are going well now at home! Breastfeeding is way better than I thought it'd be!
Brenner decided to come on his own time 3 days before my scheduled c-secton. Big boy was 8 lbs 14 oz and 22 inches long on 4/21 via day of c section! With scores of 9 and 9, we are both doing great. He is breastfeeding like a champ!
Jason "Jay" Arthur arrived at 11:45 PM on 4/24 at 35 weeks gestation. He weighed 4 lb 13 oz, 18 inches long, and we've so far avoided a NICU stay! I have quite a birth story that I'll post later once I have 2 hands back. I'm currently holding a sleeping newborn

Emma Lou was born on April 25 at 8:55 pm. She is healthy and has me wrapped around her little finger. This little Angel was definitely worth the difficult pregnancy and all of the pain. Will tell more later.
Bryson Eric was born on 4/29 at 12:59 am, after 11 hours of labor. He is 20 inches long and weighed 8 lbs 6.5 oz. He's been eating and sleeping great so far! I will come back with his birth story when I can get on the laptop.

Our newest addition was born late this morning, May 1st, via c-section because he was breech and stubborn and decided he didn't want to flip! He's a little guy at 6lbs 6.2oz and 17.5 inches long; no surprise since he's 3 weeks early!
Graham Robert and his mama will be in the hospital until Thurs/Friday. We're both doing great so far for vitals and measurements and recovery! His big bro Connor is excited to meet him tomorrow.
More details to come another day. Hoping this pic uploads. Thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts today and in past weeks!
Eleanor made her grand debut after a 5 hour labor on May 1 at 5:07 AM. She weighed in at 3.075 KG (6.76 lbs) and measured 50 CM (19.5 inches)
We had a fast and intense labor but we both are doing well. She has a small tongue tie so breastfeeding is painful at the moment but we are working on it. We are waiting on our discharge papers and are very ready to go home.

Elliott Mary arrived on 5/4 at 11:40 am, weighing 6lb 3oz and was 20 inches long. Will update the birth story later - Mom and Dad are going to eat dinner and try to get some sleep!!!
Rowan was born this morning, May 7 at 6:53 weighing 8 lb 5.5 oz and measuring 20 in. He was just shy of 2 days from his EDD. It was a whirlwind 3 hours and 20 min. First painful contraction around 3:30; arrived at the hospital 6:15ish; Cervical check in triage revealed I was already 8cm; Stood up to get into wheelchair and my water broke; Got wheeled to L&D and had to push; Not enough time for the epidural because after pushing through 4 contractions, Rowan was born. I got my all natural birth that I wasn't expecting. We are both doing great and I will post more later!
Louis John was born yesterday (5/6) at 4:04p. He was 37 weeks and 4 days and weighs 6lbs 11oz and is 19in. Will post about his boring induction and then dramatic birth when I am at a computer. The pic is the hospital web nursery photo they took last night and taped to his bassinet. I love it!
Sebastian decided to make an appearance Saturday at 38w5d (3 days before his scheduled induction). Despite arriving 2 weeks before his sister did, he is 2 oz bigger at 7lbs 4oz and the same length (19 1/2 inch). Not the ginormous baby we expected, but he can hold his own. I'll post my birth story in a separate thread once we get settled in at home.
Team Green turned Team PINK this morning at 5:14! (This was a HUGE surprise as we were both certain it was a boy. ) Frances Magdalene weighs 7lbs 12oz and is 20 inches long. She is much too tired to eat, thank YOU very much, but on the whole we are doing GREAT! ETA: Frances was my mom's mom.
Alexander David finally made his appearance today! 5/10/17, 9:45am, 8lbs, 20 inches. 36 hours of labor and I didn't think I'd ever get him out of me. Were both so tired and will share our story later.
Willa James was born on April 27th at 7:12pm - 4 days after induction started. She weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 20.5 inches tall (38w5d). Rough labor...Epidural only worked on one side...I had several seizures and ended up with an emergency c-section after laboring to 9cm. Glad it's over and she is here safe and healthy.
