I'm unsure whether I should be here or not right now. We just suffered our 2nd loss and I know we will be trying again as soon as we can. First loss was at 6 weeks and happened naturally this second one was at 13 weeks and was a missed miscarriage as the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. I just had a d& c on Tuesday and I'm looking for support and help moving forward. I have a lot of anxiety about TTC again but, I do know that's what helped after our first loss. Thank you for any advice and support, looking forward to getting to know you all!

First - I am so so sorry for the loss of your sweet babies and all the hopes and dreams that came with each pregnancy.

This is absolutely the right place for you - even if you aren't actively trying again yet. This is a safe place to explore what it means to be trying again after losing a pregnancy. Anxiety is so very common during the process.

Thank you! I was so scared to even post! Right now I can't wrap my mind around not being super anxious every day if we were to get pregnant again. Just hoping to find people who can relate ya know.

@lacym19 Welcome to the group. I recently had a mmc as well with d&c so I think you are in the right group. I'm so sorry for your losses and can understand how you must be feeling right now. Do you have any plans to speak with your Doctor about the losses or did you have the testing done at your d&c?

Thank you. My doctor offered to do some testing on us after this but, he also suggested that we not wait either as he does think there is evidence of being very fertile after this, which I also believe since I got pregnant after one cycle after our last loss. I'm just struggling with making the decision TTC or wait until after testing.

@lacym19 I completely understand where you are right now. I had the d&c and then fell pregnant after the 5 weeks Dr. asked to wait following d&c - that was a chemical. Next month, pregnant again and chemical. I'm wondering if I should give my body a rest since I have been pregnant/miscarrying every month since December. Did your Doctor mention if you would need to pick either/or for the testing? I go in to see the Doctor on Wednesday, so this is one of my questions as well... keep trying or wait (to let things re-set/testing). It's obviously a personal choice and what you can handle. Emotionally the third one hit me the most because I had just been telling myself it was really bad luck... but I am hopeful that your testing comes back good and you've just had really bad luck!

I'm sorry that you are going through this. Sorry for your loss. We are here for you. Online community like this is a great source of comfort because it will allow you to hear from women who had the same experience. I don’t have the same experience like you do but I experienced the pain of infertility. It was a roller coaster of emotions. It’s true that trying to conceive can be stressful. I would like to encourage you not to give up. Don’t lose hope. I had infertility treatments before I got pregnant, now my son is turning 16 years old in few days. God is good, He will give the desires of your heart as you trust in Him. You are on the right place.
