Tomorrow is my next appointment. We also had a infant skills class this morning.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Slowing down and needing more help to get things right in front of me. I'm also feeling more flat footed. I also want to bump my bedtime from 10:15 to 9:15 because I am tired all the time.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
I feel like I am getting conflicted advice on healthy sleep routines for the first months. I imagine what I will try is 95% responsiveness in the beginning to squirms and cries, and then after 6-10 weeks, try to see if the baby actually needs me by giving a couple minute pause before going to get him. I've heard thats too early and thats too late. We'll see for my baby what works and what I can tolerate.

I feel like any diaper bag is an indulgence because they are so expensive. I know I will need one (or two), but I feel bad asking someone to get me something stylish.

Any new symptoms or changes? I am miserable. Cannot sleep, pubic symphysis pain, reflux.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I had my son at this point in my pregnancy last time so I am a little bit of an emotional mess...fx this one stays put til june

Took my last flight today, and boy am I glad it's my last for awhile! My dad is still in the ICU but doing better so I am going home for a couple of days until we drive back for good.

not really, at least i don't think! Maybe the diaper pail, that feels a little frivolous.

Irritable uterus. The Fetal fibronectin test was negative so that's good. I just need to get used to the pain.

I'm annoyed that cramping abdominal pain/painful contractions are going to be the norm for the next 8 weeks.

No? my registry is private since this is my second and I just wanted to completion discounts. So it's really just things we need/want.

We are doing a meet n greet with a doula service on Wednesday and I have an echo that day too.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Increasingly tired, trouble getting out of bed, aches, pains, braxton hicks/contractions, acid reflux, indigestion... all the fun stuff!
Rants/Raves/Questions?
A week or 2 ago I called my OB office and the Midwife office to ask about cramps I was having. They both said it sounded like BH. At my MW apointment last week she said low, period-like cramps are probably actual contractions but as long as they are random and not super painful it's nothing to be worried about. So who knows. I guess as long as they aren't regular or increasingly painful I won't worry.

Maybe breast feeding things? Maybe those aren't selfish but they are things for me, not really for the baby I guess. Since we have a 1 bedroom apartment I tried to only register for things I will need for the first 6 months. Plus at 6 months old it will be Christmas!
I'm bummed my hospital does not participate in an organ donation program for placenta and cord. I don't plan to store cord blood, so all that medical research potential is getting thrown out in the garbage. The place they used to partner with no longer has funding to do their project. That makes me sad.

Since I'm a day late, I had my 32wk appt today (Monday). Also had another ultrasound since they were concerned that he may be too big due to my weight gain *eye roll*. All is good and he's measuring in the 60th percentile!
Any new symptoms or changes?
Heartburn. Insomia. Boobs starting to leak if pressure is applied. And holy moly nesting mode is setting in.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
The right hip/sciatic pain is still terrible. Between that, having to pee, and general insomia, I'm sleeping maybe 6hrs a night with no more than 2 hours at a time.

Ish. But none of those were gifted to us. I did use my completion bonus to get a bunch of them though (hello expensive lillebaby carrier!)
