AFM, I feel like I need a break from adulting. We're prepping for our move and planning for renovations, which is stressful enough. Plus we're trying to make sure everything is in order for our landlord to start showing our place. On top of that, DD ended up in urgent care yesterday, then had a reaction to her antibiotic, so I've been on the phone with the ped's office on and off all day. I'm just done. I want to tap out for a couple hours. I need a break. I want to sleep and not mom, just for a few short hours. I feel so guilty saying that, but it's so hard being on 100% of the time.
We should have one - I can't remember if we do or not! Make one
My FFFC is that I just want to skip forward to the end of this pregnancy and just have the baby. Or at least get a bump so I can really let go and buy some leggings.
Haha I try to keep my leggings to an early morning errand/coffee run situation. And working out, of course. Only because it keeps me in check when I put my pants on - if they get too tight, I know I've got to reign it in But now I can stop squeezing into pants and be free. I'm so excited. I swear to god, I may have gotten pregnant for leggings and the excuse of never having to do my kitty litter box. #noregrets
Re: pregnancy brain, omg yes. I wanted to blame something dumb I said on pregnancy brain but then I remembered the person I was talking to doesn't know.
I have been in my maternity pants the last 2 weeks and am loving every second. I also said I was going to the store to buy dinner; I did, but I stopped at KrispyKreme and had coffee and a donut first and blasted music in my car for 20 min.
I am bailing on my bff's daughter's 1st bday party to go to our beach house. I can't justify a weekend at home with this 90 degree beach weather in the forecast!
Momma to Amelia Marie (7/14) and Austin Samuel (11/17). Adding baby (girl) #3 on 7/21

I hope your bff isn't like me. My best friend bailed on my daughter's first birthday to save like $100 on a plane ticket. My daughter just turned 2 and it still hurts.
@sdLindenberg@breezybee I'm living in leggings right now and tbh I probably won't wear any other kind of pant until LO is, oh I don't know... rolling over, lol. I even looked at my maternity jeans today and said nope. Even those are a little tight in the butt.
Tonight I was so tired that I brushed my teeth with some mouth wash just to save the 30 extra seconds it would have taken to use toothpaste, spit and rinse. I hope none of you are/work for a dentist, but lazy won tonight.
Even though I know the stats on risk for toxoplasmosis from cleaning cat litter (basically 0% risk if you have indoor cats), I insisted that I wasn't allowed to clean the cat litter now that I'm pregnant. I work two jobs, so I feel zero guilt about this.

I dont blame any of you for not liking pho. If I have to flavor my noodle soup with more than salt and pepper, I don't want it. Gimme ALL the fresh ramen with chasu chicken and I am happy!!
My deepest, darkest secret currently is that tonight, my daughter will sleep in a slightly-not-safe-for-SIDS situation because she has outgrown the 'safe' options. I hate it, but it's the only thing that will let her sleep, other than the floor. Believe me, I know all the rules. This just bends them very very little. Please don't judge me!
@FrancisD. no judging here!! My DD will ONLY sleep in her crib with 2 blankets, 2 lovies and a stuffed giraffe. Plus, she tends to sleep with her face pressed into the mesh bumpers. I bend the rules. All of them. I do whatever works for us to get her to sleep on her own.
No judgement here. My DD has to be covered up. Has since she was a newborn. Only way I could ever get her to sleep was with a blanket and it had to be touching her face. When I had the swaddlers it helped but since she has outgrown all of them she has to have her favorite blue whale blanket and her binkie or it's a nightmare

I'll throw one in, even though it's Saturday: I really need to quit it with the at home Doppler already. I'm not even 7 weeks but I've got myself convinced I can hear something moving in there. (Whatever I have to tell myself to quiet the voices, amiright?) I told my husband to hide the doppler from me, and in the next breath threatened to divorce him if he hides the doppler from me
Yikes, your DH has a long road ahead I usually can't find fetal heart tones with the handheld Doppler on women under 20 weeks in the hospital! Once I found them on a 13 weeker, but she weighed about 80lbs.

Lol! I was kidding, We had a good laugh. I've been through this a couple of times before. I'm able to find them long before 20 weeks, but definitely not at 7, lol!
@FrancisD.my 10 month old boys live in halo sleep sacks at night. They work well for us. We also have mesh bumpers and usually one is up against that. They sleep with their wubbanubs too and have for a few months. One actually uses the pacifier part and the other uses the stuffed animal to Soothe. No judgement here! They get regular blankets for naps when I'm home but they rarely keep them on, so I know it wouldn't work at night!

I looked for it but apparently I can't read either. So my thread is now a Gif party.
