Fit Friday - April 28

Haven't seen this in a bit so thought I'd jump in. Hope that's ok!

How was your week? What did you do fitness-wise? What are your plans/goals for the weekend and next week?

Re: Fit Friday - April 28

  • I did two full-body weightlifting workouts (dumbbells), one cardio, and one yoga at lunches this week. Missed Monday due to the anatomy scan. Hoping to fit in some walks or bike rides over the weekend and make it down to the gym at least 3 times next week!

  • I've been trying to walk 1-2 miles every day. I've gotten it in every day except Wednesday, and it's helped my hip pain immensely. I would like to add some light cardio and stretching especially for my pelvic area, but I just started a ton of overtime at work, so I don't think that's going to happen.

  • I need to get back to the gym. I used to go 3-4 times a week and now I haven't been since early January. It's so hard w/ the nausea and my body feeling like crap. I have started to walking to work again and I'm going to yoga this Saturday. So slowly getting back into it.

  • I go to the gym 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday or Sunday sometimes both if I feel up to it) with weight lifting and cardio, before pregnancy I went almost everyday but get so tired now. I try to walk everyday with hubby as well.

If any of you ladies are up for it check out bodybuilding.com and search Jessie Hilgenberg she has great pregnancy workouts and she is currently pregnant again and looking amazing! They also have some great healthy recipes.

  • @bnmort8 Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely check that out!

  • I got in two runs this week, a body pump class, and an at home lower body workout. I'm trying to get back up to 3 runs a week and 3 days of weight training. I am just so unmotivated most days. Thanks, @bnmort8...I will check her out.
  • I've really struggled with exercising safely, so I haven't. I walk a lot at work being in my feet all day as a nurse, but it's tough to see my thighs get huge and my arms flabby. I'm going to check out the pregnancy safe exercises recommended up there..
