How far along are you? 27+1

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? Got food poisoning last week (blech) and I've been having really bad acid reflux lately. Zantac has been helping, but I have to take it twice a day preventatively.

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? I don't think so. I have a growth scan this afternoon to get a peek at baby. Hoping for good news!

Rants/raves? It feels good to be back from vacation. But now my next milestone to look forward to is having a baby...and that is scaring me sh*tless.

GTKY: Anything you're excited for coming up soon? We might try to go to a Cavs playoff game next week, or maybe an Indians game this week! We are going to a Chance the Rapper concert in May that I am REALLY looking forward to. May is going to be busy busy!

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in?
Apparently the past couple of days, I've started snoring. I've never had this problem in the past. I feel bad for interrupting my husband's sleep. Even worse, my throat feels so raw! I tried those strips, elevating my head and nothing seemed to help.

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go?
I met with my MFM and my GD specialist on Friday. I got to see baby stick her tongue out. It was cute. Unfortunately, my fibroid has grown another 2-3cms. I have to go back in a few weeks for another growth scan.

Rants/raves?
I'm having a really hard time taking anything at work seriously which is such a bad attitude to have since I have SO much work to do. I have yet another biz trip on Friday and I'm hoping it's my last!

our mini babymoon is coming up on the 5th of May. We'll be driving out to a spa resort in palm desert for the weekend, but I'm so looking forward to my first prenatal massage.

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? My hips have started to hurt. And OMG, the discharge. I thought it was bad before..ugh.

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? GD test this coming Friday...not looking forward to it.

Rants/raves? This is more an LOL: SIL did her gender reveal...via TEXT! I didn't know what to say in response so I didn't say anything.

Questions for FTM, or STM+? Underwear postpartum? I've read that Depends are better than pads and then you don't have to worry about ruining underwear.

GTKY: Anything you're excited for coming up soon? Our showers are coming up

. Outside of that, I'm looking forward to the concerts we're going to this summer, both are in the beginning of July (EDD 7/29) so I hope we still get to go.

@lanie1000 have you tried the nose strips and a humidifier? DH snores if we don't have the humidifier on.

@SpongeWorthy Hope your scan is great! And I think a lot of us are getting to the scared sh!tless/excited phase since we're nearing the 3rd tri.

I had a very big nose bleed last night, I can't tell if I'm full or hungry, I feel baby on two ends now. At the same time

Rants: Nothing new, I feel sad for some people that's about it. It also makes me sad that my future child will be going to school with some of the kids of the meanest narrow minded judgy people. Now that's SAD!
Raves: My H got me two entire wishlists online woot woot. Obv some of it I will be returning I didn't actually want all of it lol.

YAS! The nursery!!! I want to start already, my guest room bed is just piling up with frames, baskets and accessories.

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? I feel like she is re-enacting Alien. LOL.

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? Had my monthly OB check-up. I have to have a growth scan at 32 weeks because my uterus was measuring larger than my EDD. Honestly, I'm not worried. DH's family are all very large people (>6' and >250 lbs) and I don't place much stock in the measuring tape method.

@lanie1000 Hey there! Sorry to hear about your fibroid growing so much. Mine seems to be slowing down thankfully. I am so feeling you on the work front. I just got back from vacation today and have done approximately nothing lol. My mind is somewhere else... Have a great vacation! We just got back from Palm Springs. The weather was oh so nice!

@SquirttheTurtle Good luck at your GD test! I did mine yesterday and it wasn't nearly as bad as I feared. I hope yours goes smoothly!

@BusyZee OMG the full or hungry debate is constant. Mine is more am I hungry or going to barf

How far along are you? 29 weeks! Yikes. I don't know if I ever truly believed I would make it this far.

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? Yes. Some random possibly dislocated rib discomfort. I'm not entirely sure what it is. I'm not that worried, but I called my doctor just in case, but they haven't called me back. So I guess they aren't worried either lol.

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? Nope. But I have one next week! Every two weeks now

GTKY: Anything you're excited for coming up soon? I'm both excited and anxious about everything that is coming up. So much baby stuff, shower, birthdays, Mothers Day, social stuff, the list just goes on. I like being busy, but I'm not a people person and going out with people a lot is draining on me (introvert to the max) so I'm worried that I'm going to burn out really fast and not enjoy anything.

@SquirttheTurtle - STM lurking. I had heard the same about Depends when preparing for DS but decided to start with pads and underwear I could trash and would buy Depends if I thought they were needed. I ended up using the disposable mesh underwear for the first 4 or 5 days then switched to my underwear I could trash with "padsicles" (if you don't know about these I suggest checking it out on Pinterest). I didn't have to trash any of my underwear and never felt depends were necessary but everyone is different.

@SquirttheTurtle I'm buying a pack or two of black cotton underwear cheap at Target. That way, if they get destroyed, I can just toss them and not feel bad.

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? Acid reflux boo - it has been keeping me up at night.

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? elective 3d ultrasound on Saturday. Baby girl was stubborn and we didn't get any good pics.

Rants/raves? @star_beagle - YES to the alien comment. her movements are so much different now than they were a few weeks ago. I wish I could see what she's doing in there!

GTKY: Anything you're excited for coming up soon? Shower is less than a month away. I am with @spongeworthy - I would love to get to an Indians or Cavs game this month too. Side note, I got the LO an indians onesie at a PTA resale for $2 and I now can't wait to take her to a game this fall.

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? Leg cramping that I'm treating with bananas, and just fatigued beyond belief. I'm pretty sure that's from getting the house ready for showing and selling and the like and the 6 hours of sleep we are getting right now.

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? Nothing until my growth scan early May.

Rants/raves? I agree with the alien comments! I randomly go, "Ooof!" from feeling some weird ish going on. She's been hanging around my right side and it was harder to breath a few days ago. I also think she got her leg caught in her umbilical cord because it felt like she was trying to shake her leg free from it. So cute, but odd to feel!

@maybeitsmadeline It was on Easter. We were on our way to IL's when we got it. "Sorry we'll miss everyone today. Happy Easter" with a picture of her in front of her chalkboard that said "IT'S A GIRL"
So, she's not even going to be at Easter and she still made the day all about her! Spent the whole afternoon redirecting the topic of conversation from her.

Oh, she also announced her pregnancy via text!

How far along are you? 29+3

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? Baby enjoys pressing on my cervix and it feels like he's going to fall out sometimes. Other than that, I'm feeling huge! Can't believe I have only 11 weeks to go!

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? Just had an appointment with my midwife and I was so happy to find out that I don't have gestational diabetes! I thought for sure I'd have it given that my mom had it 3 times with us kids.

Rants/raves? Rant: My work. I have lost all faith in the leadership at my job and I'm looking forward to my year of maternity leave so I don't have to deal with the madness. We were just informed that they are doing away with annual performance reviews and yearly raises for the foreseeable future.I'm frustrated because I think this could have been avoided had they done proper fiscal planning over the past year.

Rave: I love my prenatal classes. My boyfriend is learning so much and it's a fun thing we get to do together once a week.

GTKY: Anything you're excited for coming up soon? I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only mom to be going to a concert in the next month or two! I'm seeing one of my favourite bands in late May, almost 8 months pregnant!

How far along are you? 30w2d... I now have less than 10 weeks left *cue panic mode*

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? Eating less and less at a time thanks to this little one squishing my stomach. Also worsening my acid reflux, which means more tums and zantac for me!

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? Ob appt yesterday, so far so good!

GTKY: Anything you're excited for coming up soon? We're moving! I'm not excited about the moving process, but looking forward to getting settled in our new place. Plus our complex has a pool! It opens on memorial day and I'm looking forward to floating my fat pregnant self in that pool all of June.

Any new symptoms or changes since last check in? +1 to feeling like I'm in the movie Alien. I've taken a couple videos of my belly going nuts. It's hard not to start laughing in meetings at work when it happens. Also, I've definitely thought more than once, "Are they sure there aren't 2 in there??"

Any appointments since last check in? How did it go? Nope, but glucose test tomorrow. Eek.

Rants/raves? DH is finally realizing that the baby is coming soon, and has started to take an interest in planning and doing research on stuff - which is great! But he is also developing new opinions on things that I thought were decided months ago. It's great that he's getting involved and forming his own opinions. But... I thought certain things were done and decided, why couldn't he have taken an interest months ago when I was doing research and trying to make decisions?

Questions for FTM, or STM+? Probably, but I can never think of any when I do these check ins.

+1 to WTH is baby doing in there. It was cute up until this week, now some of those moves are just rando, and not painful, but the pressure is intense!

Heartburn has been pretty consistent the past few days, not to mention the feeling huge and pressure in my diaphragm area a lot more these days.
Any appointments since last check in? How did it go?
Don't think so, got my first bi-weekly appt. starting next week
Rants/raves?
Ahhhhh - single digits for weeks to go - making me nervous!
Still not sure how to plan for L&D since it's still up in the air if I'm having a c-section or not (placenta is lying low) Still got another 3 weeks til next MFM scan to see if it's moved or not.

We're getting closer to finishing the main parts of our remodel. And we've started to unpack some of the new furniture. Can't wait to be able to get it all together and organized instead of the cluster it is right now.
