New Girl **Child mentioned**

Hi *waves* I am 31 and my DH is 38. We have an 18 month old DD. We had been trying for over a year.
In Feb. 2015 I had a hysteroscopy & laproscopy was diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS. My ob/gyn also drilled my ovaries and did a DNC. A month later I had an HSG, 3 weeks later I got my BFP. I gave birth via emergency C-section at 27 weeks 4 days due to severe pre-eclampsia in Oct. 2015
Fast forward to the present.... we've been trying for 7 months. My dx now includes low ovarian reserve  (1.2 amh) and my DH has 0% morphology. My dr wanted to go straight to IVF to avoid multiples because of the risk of pre-eclampsia. My insurance does not cover IVF (who's does?) so we'll be having an IUI this cycle. 
I start follistim injections hopefully Tuesday, followed by trigger> IUI >progesterone. I'm currently on Desogen to keep me in a "holding pattern" until I am able to get the follistim  (hopefully Tues).
 I've been having the WORST mood swings... is that from the bcp?
 I'm also nervous, excited and scared about having an IUI.
Advice, tips, tricks??

HSG (3/2017)- All Clear
RX: Follistim (75iu)/ Trigger/ IUI/ Progesterone
Starting 1st IUI cycle Friday 4/28

    Welcome! I don't have any advice but just wanted to say hi. My insurance also does not cover IVF. I don't know what DH and I will do if it comes to that. I hope you have success with your IUI!

    Welcome. I don't have experience with iui. This will be my first treatment and am going straight to ivf. My insurance covers it. It covers 5 cycles max with fet covering as a cycle. Good luck !!

    Welcome @MommaWalla. I'm in the middle of IUI cycle #3 right now. I only do Letrozole and IUI, even though the RE had me buy an Ovidrel trigger that's been in my fridge for two months. And for me everything's gone pretty smoothly taking Letrozole CDs 3-7 and then IUI somewhere between cd 16-18, but of course no BFP yet so I'm not sure I have many useful tips. I hope IUI works for you! We're also OOP for IVF and the cost of it is pretty overwhelming. Good luck to you!

    Hello and welcome.  I hope your stay with us is short and sweet.  I am currently on my 2nd IUI, but I am doing Letrozole>trigger shot>IUI>progesterone.  Usually the Letrozole just makes me really tired.  GL with your first IUI!

    Cycle 6: Letrozole 5mg+Trigger shot+IUI+Progestrone- BFN
    Cycle 7: Letrozole 5mg, Cyst found during follicle check
    Cycle 8: Birth control to treat left ovary cyst
    Cycle 9: Letrozole 7.5mg+Trigger shot+IUI+Progesterone- BFN
    Cycle 10: Letrozole 7.5mg, 2 Cysts found during follicle check
    Cycle 11: Clomid 100mg+Estradiol+Trigger shot+IUI+Progesterone- BFN
    Cycle 12: Clomid 100mg- BFN
    Cycle 13-16: Natural attempts while awaiting IVF 
    Cycle 14: IVF-BFN

    @MooFish2364 Thank you, it sucks to be here but I'm so grateful that I'm not alone and that there are people out there going through this that I can talk to. 

    @SP128 Thank you, crossing everything I can! That is so awesome that your insurance covers IVF! What a relief that must be for you ..... financially anyway. Good luck to you too!

    @SoonToBeMommaHowe Thank you! I went in for 3 day testing again this morning.... still in the holding pattern. Tonight will be the last time I'll take the Design and I'm supposed to start the Follistim friday evening, if blood and u/s look good. All this waiting is driving me crazy , who would of thought trying to stay sane would be so hard.
