I was thinking doing a once a month check in on our LOs might be a fun way to see how all the babies are doing.

When did/will your baby(ies) turn 2 months?
(Sorry, I know we have older babies, if you participate, let us know how many months your baby is now)
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz)
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
Anything else you want to add?

Re: Mid-month check in
Austin turned 2 months April 7th
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz)
At his appointment, he was 24.25 inches, 12 lbs 12 oz and he is between his 0-3 and 3-6 month clothing. He is long for his onsies, but doesn't fill out the 3-6 month ones yet.
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
He rolled over once. He's been laughing in his sleep. It's the cutest thing, and melts my heart. He's starting to grab things like a blanket, my hand, or loose parts of his onsies and shove them to his mouth.
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
He goes to bed around 11:30 and will normally do a 4 hour stretch. The rest of the night can be between 1 hr to 3. During the day, he takes long naps roughly 2-3 hours. At night, I swaddle him with his arms in, or he won't fall asleep.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
He likes one of his blankets. If I touch his face with it, he instantly calms down. (Most of the time)
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
I love his sweet laugh. Sometimes when I'm holding him, but watching TV or talking to our older kids, I'll look down and he's just staring at me with a smile. I love it so much.
Anything else you want to add?
Pictures!!! (If you can add any, darn mobile stuff doesn't work still for adding pics)
I can't post one because I'm on mobile, and am too lazy to request desksite right now. Maybe I'll do it later.

Oddly enough, Ella turned 2 months on February 21 lol...She will be 4 months on Friday!
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz) Not sure of height and weight until her check up next week, but she's still in size 0-3 months clothes. They are getting a little small but 3-6 months is still a little big.
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
Ella does all of the above! She loves sticking her tongue out to get laughs and her favorite word is "ah-goo"
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
Her teachers at day care love her because she usually takes two 2+ hour naps every day lol. She sleeps well at home too. She's still waking up for two over night feedings, but she usually goes right back to sleep.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
She doesn't really get upset unless she's hungry so when she cries I know it's time for food.
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
I love her personality! She is a very happy and silly baby and is very vocal!
Anything else you want to add?
Ella is obsessed with butterflies. Out of all her toys she prefers her butterfly toys over her other ones. I also have butterflies hanging on the wall next to her crib and she just stares at those.

Ugh stupid mobile won't let me add pics...maybe I'll edit this later.

Senna turned 2 months on April 7th.
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz)
She was 22.5", 11lbs 5oz and 3mo clothing.
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
She is starting to get pretty good at rolling from tummy to back. Has discovered her hands and loves to put her fist in her mouth.
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
She sleeps pretty well! Goes to bed around 10, gets up at 3. Maybe gets up around 5, but usually stays asleep until 7.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
I bought this rattle ball thing to use when she is older, but she has been obsessed with it almost since she was born. Any time she is fussy I just shake if and she instantly stops crying and just stares at it. She sometimes grabs for it when I change her as well. Here is the link:

What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
She is just so smiley! When she wakes up in the morning and sees me looking back at her she always gives me the biggest smile! It's such a great way to start my day.
Anything else you want to add?
How much tummy time is everyone doing each day? She gets a lot laying on my chest, but I don't think I'm doing enough on the floor.

April 3rd was our two month mark
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz)
She was 13lbs and 24.25" long at her two month check
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
Lots of cooing, she shows interest in her toys and gets excited to see H when he comes back from work. She makes this adorable gutteral giggle when she's very happy, and has grabbed at her feet a few times.
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
Nights have been rough the last couple of weeks. Before shots she would go to sleep 8 to 11, wake up for food and go back to sleep until 5am, eat again and nap until 7ish.
We're trying to get back to that schedule, or at least close to it
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
Wearing her in her sling. Best $20 I ever spent!
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
Still her giant gummy smiles!
Anything else you want to add?
I'm very anxious about returning to work. I still haven't gone anywhere or done anything without her and I'm not ready to. One more week...

Harrison will be 4 months next week
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing
He was 13 lbs at an appointment at the end of March...reflux:(. We have his 4 month shots and well-baby visit May 3rd. We are pretty much in 3-6 months clothing but we use cloth so the fluffy bottom made the size transition happen a little earlier than needed lb-wise.
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
He chatters back at us and mocks our facial expressions. He laughs at big sister and is super smiley. He hangs onto the toys on the portable baby swing but isn't rolling over yet.
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
We've dropped the midnight feeding (yay!) so he usually nurses to sleep at 9ish and then wakes between 2-4 once to eat. He tends to make that session more of a quick snack and then goes right back to sleep. He wakes for the day at 7. Some days he cat naps often and some days he takes 2 long naps with 2-3 hour awake periods between. He loves to fall asleep in the ring sling but in the evening he likes to go in the PNP while drowsy and watch his mobile for a bit.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
A boob;)
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
He is so laid back and mellow! He really doesn't fuss unless he's hungry. And he is so cuddly!

Wyatt will be 2 months on the 25th
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz)
He was 9lbs 4oz and 22 inches at his 1 month check up so I'm excited to see what he is now! He's weird when it comes to sizing - anything one piece (especially with feet) he's 0-3 months and the same for bottoms mostly. But all tops like shirts and hoodies, he's newborn because he swims in the 0-3 months.
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
He is really perfecting his giant smile and he is following things with his eyes very well!
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
Wr are in a transition right now. The doctor said we can let him sleep. But he sleeps until anywhere from 1-3 depending on the night but then is up again at 4:30. I'm trying to get him on a 9,1,5 timing.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
if we want him soothed instantly, we take him outside. I think the fresh air and breeze make him happy haha.
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
He is so happy most of the time and that makes me happy! And I love that he looks like my fiance

Harrison will be 2 months on May 01.
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz)
Length I have no clue(my next appointment isn't until April 27th), but I know he's in the area of 10lbs right now and is still fitting 0-3mo. clothing.
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
Lots of smiles right now which is just making me melt. He's also pretty stellar at keeping his head up on his own for a fairly long time. Just today though I noticed that he's figured out how to grab part of his pacifier clip and pull his pacifier out of his mouth.
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
For the past three or so days he's been falling asleep between 8:00pm and 8:30pm and usually he'll stay down until about midnight or 1am; after that he's up every three hours or so for feedings until 7:30am when he stays awake. Naps have been hard though, really hard; my little man has been fighting sleep like nothing else so he's taken to like half hour cat naps scattered through out the day rather than a good two or three hour nap in the afternoon. Sadly I haven't discovered any sleep tricks yet.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
If it's not bouncing him lightly on my knee it's his pacifier. One of those two will get him to ease off from whatever wind up he's got going on.
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
His smile! I can't get enough of that little smile. That and just how he's starting to take in his surroundings with this look of wonder. I could stare at him for hours.

Henry will be 3 months on the 27th.
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz) He went to the doc at 2 months so by now he has to weigh around 13lbs. Some 3 months clothes fit, others are too small.
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing) he recently started grabbing objects, but he has the cutest smile and laugh. It makes me smile and even cry happy tears.
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily? He doesn't sleep on his own very well. But he LOVES his Halo sleeep sack. And jail breaking him in the morning and watching those baby stretches makes me full of joy. He also loves his Scout, a dog by Leap Frog. The bedtime music is super relaxing to him.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly? Scout. Also momma snuggles in the rocking chair or a pacifier. There's always the old but goodie: a bottle.
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now? His smile. And his laugh. He can lift his head up quiet well which makes me proud, but a toothless baby smile and laugh? I melt.
Anything else you want to add? He's growing so fast! I just want to snuggle him so much.

Mobile said no pics. I took the most adorable picture of him today during a round of tummy time.
When did/will your baby(ies) turn 2 months?

2 weeks ago; he is 10 weeks today.
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz)
So big. 15 lbs 5 oz (bathroom scale weight) and approximately 25" (guess based on bassinet length and last measurement at doctor's).
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
He has rolled onto his belly a couple of times, but it's not a regular occurrence. He likes tummy time and does a great job lifting his head, and in the last couple of days I've noticed him occasionally interacting with toys like our baby paper and touching/nuzzling blankets.
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
He's a very good night sleeper with only one wakeup to feed around 3-4 am most nights. During the day he's more of a catnapper and prone to sleeping for 20 minutes here and there in the Lillebaby or on a car ride. I'm getting better at noticing his sleepy cues and putting him in his crib for at least one nap a day. At night, we've found that letting him fall asleep on his own works better than getting him to sleep in our arms first; he'll babble himself to sleep pretty quickly but if he's already asleep I lose him in the transfer.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
So far we've found that if Sam is crying he usually needs to either burp or poop. So, we get him upright, bounce him a bit, walk him around, etc. to facilitate.
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
His smile. Oh man, that smile. I've cried from happiness a few times just looking at it.
Anything else you want to add?
Back to work in a week and a half. I know I have very good reasons for wanting to keep working but man they are hard to remember right now.
Ridley will turn 2 months on May 2nd
How big is your baby? (Length, weight, clothing sz)
Not sure his exact size: next appt is May 2nd. He no longer fits in 3m clothes and 6m clothes are fitting well. He was 12lb and 23in at his 1m appointment so I'm guessing he's going to be about 14lb and maybe 24in at his 2m appt.
What fun new things is your baby doing? (Anything, rolling over, laughing, grabbing for objects, cooing)
He follows faces and people really well now. He's getting pretty good at lifting his head but we need to work on getting more floor tummy time. It's just so much easier and more enjoyable for us both to lay him on my chest. He's beginning to smile but it's still pretty random so I haven't caught it on camera yet.
How is the LO sleeping during the night and for naps? Do you have any special tricks you do to get them to sleep easily?
It's still pretty random how he sleeps during the night. The most common is going to bed around 7:30-8 and sleeping for 4 hrs, then 3 hrs, then 2hrs. Naps are also random. I try to put him in his bassinet for 1 nap a day the rest he just kind of conks out wherever he is if he's tired. Sometimes nursing him will put him right out. I try that first if he's really cranky. If not then it's a long routine of dancing with him until he's almost asleep then rocking until he's out and trying to not wake him transfering to the bassinet.
Have you found something that usually soothes your upset baby quickly?
My boobs usually do the trick, he likes to use them as a pacifier and doesn't really take pacis. He also likes sitting on my lap with his back against me while I bounce my legs. We pretend he's riding a horse so we "walk, then trot, then yell Yeehaw and "gallop". Oh an DH has this dance that he does while holding him and singing the ABC's that calms him down every time.
What is your favorite thing(s) about your baby, or that they do right now?
I love his facial expressions. He's had a bunch since birth but now they are starting to be less random and mean something. One of my favorites is the look he gets right before he starts eating, he's so happy, it's adorable.
