My principal still has not observed me, so she remains the number on TW in my life.

There's also been a lot of casual anti-semitism going around. There's a guy running for city council in Manhattan whose whole platform is 'I hate greedy Jewish landlords.' Hopefully he won't get elected, since he's no Leslie Knope. My husband had an argument with a guy at work because everyone wears personal patches on their gear, and a guy took issue with my husband's Israeli flag. It's so scary this stuff is still going around in this day and age.

My TW--and I've been sitting on this for a while but confirmed it today--is the people at Chipotle or whoever made the "be stingy with the guacamole" protocol. I'm here for the guac, y'all. I'm PAYING for it. I'll pay more. JUST GIVE ME ENOUGH!

@jsnakehole Totally agree re: all the anti-semitism and just general hatred. Awful. I find it terrifying.

@EmilyLove25 Oh my God YES! My TW with that is Subway. You tout that you're healthy and get all the veggies on your sub but they put like, 4 little pieces of onion and pepper, and then 8 tons of shredded lettuce! I got DH a sub with black olives and I counted - they put 7 on there. 7! Wth it's not like black olives are expensive or anything stop being so stingy Subway! (I rarely eat there because I'd rather have Jimmy Johns but seriously WTAF)
*maybe I should've saved this for WTF Wednesday

@RVAmom315 I don't eat JJ anymore because of the trophy hunting. Like, I try to no be all political with my food, but that's just too much for me to feel comfortable with.

@JennyColada I'm with you. I used to eat there until I heard about the trophy hunting.. I need to find a new place where I can go buy a giant pickle.

@RVAmom315 @JennyColada @BoshnJonnie I felt the same way about JJ and avoided eating there for awhile but then I tried Chick-fil-a for the first time and I got hooked. So I figured if I am going to eat at an establishment that discriminates against the LGBTQ community then I might as well eat JJ too. I know it's horrible and against everything I believe in but the chicken sandwiches are just too good.

@JJMNO1616 there isn't a Chick-fil-a yet in my area.. I wasn't exactly hooked on JJ's (I actually like subway better), so it was more of a 'I don't need to go out of my way' thing.. except for the pickles..

Literally every single time this thread appears I say to myself, "why do we need a Trigger Warning Tuesday?" until I remember 5 seconds later that it's twat waffle (it is twat waffle right?).

Also always read TP as toilet paper before remembering throat punch.

@JJMNO1616 Ha, I totally get you. Plus there are SO many companies that have some parent company that will contribute to some Super PAC or something that's "bad". It's just so hard to keep track and I feel like no matter what we eat, buy, or spend money on we are still somehow contributing to discrimination of SOMEone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yep, this exactly... so that's why I just gave up and I eat all the things now.
