@carries2018 If you use Joseph you could call him TJ! (I'm a little biased because DS goes by his initials.) That's the only suggestion I got, I think they both sound good.

I can totally do Jaxon Thierry ( dh likes Thierry as a middle name) and call him JT. Well because uh duh, The real JT.
DH will say a big fat negative to that.
Do it! Don't mention the real JT. Lol.

- @curlyq423 I feel you on the threenager listening thing ... or actually lack of listening. I don't have the patience for you to flop around and ignore me more than twice!!!
- I can't stand when people are disappointed we haven't found out gender yet. I'm not doing elective ultrasounds or blood tests for no reason. It's especially annoying when older people ask why we haven't found out, why do you care? You didn't know what a single one of yours was because ultrasounds didn't really happen "back in your day" because technology.
- The comments people make once you know gender are just stupid. I've mentioned before that when we found out DD was a girl FIL's response was "better luck next time". I secretly hope it's another girl just to spite him ... except I know DH would really love to have a boy. I'm cool either way, I just want to know!
- TW: National Boards - DH has had since September to get things done and has waited until now to really get his butt in gear. He's staying late at work to work on it tonight so probably won't be home for bedtime. Which puts it on me again. I'm sore, tired and patience is wearing thin. May 17th can't come soon enough!!!
Another TW: Maternity clothes. I'm finally giving in and trying to buy some things, because nothing I have fits. But they are all so ugly, and of the minimal cute things, my size is sold out. Boo.
October 2017 June Siggy Challenge -- "You Had One Job!"
@bluejeanbabi05 I do too! It's probably for sure our set boys middle name. I would use it as a first name. But don't feel like correcting people on pronunciation. It's Tee-Air-Ee , not like theory.
well i sent an email. but i like TJ too! it isnt my preference but i like it is an option. really i am fine with whatever H picks but i just wnat ot discuss Taylor.
@mrs_fogue Hahaha right?? Thank goodness we have The Bump to vent our frustrations. And I'm sorry about your husband's boss! I hope you don't have to change your vacation plans.
@migdala I actually lol'ed at your response! That would have been some poetic justice right there.
I'm sure everyone here will be JUST SHOCKED to hear that my MIL is my TW today (and every day). But you all would be proud -- we told her she could do whatever she wanted but that she had to get good pertussis titer test results before seeing the baby (thanks so much again @ForwardnBackward). She emailed this morning about how her homeopathic practitioner says that titer tests only look for antibodies and you can be immune without antibodies. I was extremely tempted to spend another 2 hours on the internet trying to prove her wrong but instead I took you ladies' advice and just emailed back that we had decided on the pertussis titer test as our objective metric and that's all there is to it. Of course now I keep refreshing my email to see what drama ensues as a result, but it felt great to just be like, no, this is what we're doing, get in line or GTFU.

@migdala Good grief. Immune without antibodies? Both your MIL and her homeopathic practitioner sound like pieces of work. Good for you for standing your ground!
I have to catch up on everyone's TW when I get off. But my TW today is my boss. She got on to me for being on my phone, big whoop. I get in trouble often but she was like well is there any particular reason you're on it? YES, I AM A GROWN ADULT and if I want to be on my phone I will and also my OB nurse messaged me on my portal to make sure I didn't pass out again! GOTTA ISSUE? Fire me. But you won't. Because I save your ass 848392749383 times a day.
Maybe im madder than I should be but #hormones and #getoffmyass
ETA: 5 minutes after I get in trouble she walks by talking on her cell phone.
Okay. I'll reply to everyone else when I get out of hell.
Andplusalso, in case you were wondering you can get clamydia and Gonorrhea in your throat even at 60.... that also happened yesterday, y'all are welcome.
@blujeanbaby29 Sorry, but if ours is a girl she will be Elena haha. DH basically only likes Elena and Emma. He is the world's pickiest man when it comes to baby names. We know entirely too many Emma's and Elena has been on the top of my list for a few years, so the fact that he agrees to it is phenomenal. It's basically either Elena, or she would be nameless.
amazon is a TW i am having an issue with our kindle i said upfront what the issue was...i am not being transferred to my 3rd person to "better assist me"
Not much time to bump today, but I've been shelling out love tits here and there and I appreciated all the Jax going on.
My TW is DDs Dentists office and our dental insurance. We've been trying to resolve a bill from AUGUST. I keep getting bills in the mail but it's covered 100% (just confirmed, again, with the dental insurance company). Ugggh I've wasted entirely too much time on this.
I can relate to so many of you ladies with family wanting to know potential names. We won't find out the gender until 5/18. My DH and have started thinking about names, but nothing serious just yet. We want to wait to find out what we are having before we start a short list. His family got on my case two weekends ago because we didn't have any names picked out. SMDH.
Can my hunger and bottomless pit of a stomach warrant a TWT post? Because goddamn...
June 2017 Siggy Challenge: "You had one job to do!"
@Brambles23 we don't find out gender until 5/16. So. Far. Away. We have a short list of names for both genders but the in-laws won't stop asking when we will know. The date isn't changing, so leave me alone!
@sdarling2010 and @canonmom413 this is where I'd pull the whole "keep asking/nagging and see if you'll ever find out." It's usually family that won't let it go!
My friends have asked, but when I give the reason why they're cool about it. Some haven't even asked about names...only asking how my DH and I are doing.
Ugh...hanger....everything is just irritating today.
June 2017 Siggy Challenge: "You had one job to do!"

Also, popping back in to assign TW status to family and friends trying to name our baby too like the rest of you. I feel your frustrations. Everyone knows we will stick with the J letter theme, so everyone thinks it's their right to guess names I suppose since it's narrowed down so much. So everyone is just rambling off J names to me constantly. Once we decide I'm sure there will be people who will announce they either "thought" of that name for us, or magically predicted it. Ok, there's not THAT many J names (unless we start making names up which is NMS)...so yeah, several of those friends and family members have probably already guessed the name even thought we don't even know what it is.
On the names thing, my SIL (to be) is actually at this moment texting me the names SHE thinks we should use. It's because SO is having dinner with his family due to his mom having surgery tomorrow so sis is in town. She already had two so she's done naming kids as far as I'm concerned. The second of which she named, no joke, Jack Bauer H_____ because she loved the show 24 so much. So one of her 'definitely should be' suggestions is one SO keeps teasing me about. I love the name Wolf (yeah, cuz I'm weird like that) and he and his sis love the Rangers (hockey) so he decided if it's a boy he should be named Stepan Wolf. He's now got several people including sis saying to go with it. Um no. Thanks for making a joke of the name I like dang it.
ETA: oh yeah, they're both the TW's at the moment.

We have this nice set of stackable mixing bowls I use all the time. The type that goes from large to small and they all fit into each other. When DH unloads the dishwasher, he can't find it in himself to take the time to put them back in order from largest to smallest, so they're just haphazardly stacked. A few minutes ago I opened the cupboard and my favorite size mixing bowl fell to the ground and broke because it was teetering on much smaller bowls. So. Annoyed.
@bluejeanbabi05 that would be a "you're sleeping on the couch" night for me. Sorry your bowl broke.
On that subject of TW DH/SO's, I just remembered another one from the other day. Sunday SO wanted to take our puppy on a hike/walk on a trail near our house while I laid down for a nap. He drives a car and I drive a Honda Ridgeline truck, so when taking the dog out, it's usually a given to take my vehicle. It was a nice day, but the days previous it had rained so I thought it would have been obvious for him to bring the doggie blanket I usually throw in the backseat (which was in the laundry room, on his way out), or at least a towel. Nope, that would've made too much sense. He mentioned the car was a little dirty when he came back, but it wasn't until I got in yesterday to find that my entire backseat AND front passenger seat (leather btw) are absolutely covered in muddy paw prints. Arghhhh! I actually told him I was withholding sex for that one. He just laughs and says, "oh like I'm getting it all the time lately anyway". Meh, he's got a point there.

We find out the sex on 5/16 but we aren't telling anyone until our reveal on 6/17. I've made 3 people mad this week by telling them this and idgaf. I actually find it hilarious. My one SIL at least asked why our reasoning for it was and completely understood. I want to have a reveal party to celebrate the baby, but I don't want to send out invites until we know everything is good and baby is healthy.
I'm going to have a hard time not spilling the beans for a full month, but I think it will be so worth it
@bluejeanbabi05 While I think Elena is beautiful, I've no plans to use it, lol. It is safe from this part of the world!
I understand you feeling that way though. If people start naming their kid Laurel around my area, I am gonna bust some skulls. I know not a single one out of everyone we know and I've never had a patient name their baby that (and I've taken care of a multitude in 8 years!) so I keep getting, "Oh, that is beautiful!" but I better not be hearing of any name twinkies for baby girl.

My TW MIL wrote back to my laying-down-the-law email AND SHE TOOK ME OFF THE EMAIL CHAIN. She only replied to DH. I am so livid. DH is adding me back and crafting a reply email that hopefully ends the discussion. They're choosing not to be around for the birth of their first grandchild and that's on them.
I think all of you bragging about finding out the sex in May are TW! I'll only be 18w4d at my next appointment in May and they won't do the anatomy until after 20 weeks, so I get to wait until my then next appointment which won't be until the end of June!
