Re: TWW Tuesday 4/25
CD/DPO: 23/11
Timing: -2, -1, O
Testing: Only if I am 2 days late
R/R: I just had a killer work-out and everything hurts right now and I think I am gonna die. Send help. Also my H is on a business trip right now and while I miss him, I am loving lounging around the house and not cleaning up and being my general messy self.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
I think Hozier is underrated. That whole CD is amazing. I think Ariana Grande and Niki Minaj are both severely overrated.
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 28/11 (!!!!!!!)
Timing: 0, -1, -3, -5 (and still not once since lol)
Testing: No thanks! Too emotional of a person for all of that nonsense
R/R: Y’all I have made it to 11 DPO! This is a record for me since we started TTC. And my temp is still where it has been for three days, above my cover line! Today it was actually .06 higher than yesterday, so it did something, lol!
CS/Q: Noada!
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated? Underrated: The National (but honestly people like them and they win awards, so I am not sure what I am talking about ha. I just want EVERYONE to love them). Overrated: I legitimately do not listen or pay attention to anything aside from the music I like, so I’m not sure who to say… but anyone who is selling albums with lyrics that predominately degrade women. Umm… those people?
@kiwi2628 Yay for the workout and OMG am I jealous of your time home alone. I haven't had that in AGES. I love living in my own filth on the couch for a weekend

CD/DPO: 48/7
Timing: -4, -2, -1
Testing: April 30th
R/R: Nothing really. It's a rainy crappy day here. I'm trying not to symptom spot and I feel like I'm out this cycle.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
Hmm the first one that comes to mind is Feist. The more I listen to her music, the more I appreciate it. Also her voice is incredible which doesn't come through on the recordings (I think she used a lot of distortion or effects). When I saw her live I was blown away by the clarity and tone of her voice.
Over-rated: probably Britney Spears, Nicky Minaj, Madonna...

My chart: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/63f71d
CD/DPO: 26/11
Timing: I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter at this point
Testing: Tomorrow
R/R: Just knowing my body I'm pretty sure I'm out again this month.
CS/Q: I have a non chart question. My OB has pretty much ran every infertility test that he would on his end (tests I feel comfortable with him running) before he would send me over to an RE for more testing. I don't need a referral, my insurance doesn't require it. So my question is would you contact an RE on your own or ask your OB if you think it's time? I really like my OB, hes genuine and very sympathetic so I don't want to upset him without talking to him first. In all our talks we haven't talked about the need of an RE but I also haven't brought it up. BUT I'm tired of waiting around and I want to know what the F* is going on with my body.
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
I think Lady Gaga is a little underrated. Yes, she's weird as hell but as an artist shes actually really good. I Think Justin Bieber is overrated.
CD/DPO: CD19/5DPO
Timing: -4, -2, -1, 0
Testing: Not until 5/5 if I can make it that long/if I don't start spotting or AF before.
R/R: This week has been crap and it's only Tuesday! And honestly, I really don't think this is our month so I just want this cycle to hurry up and end so I can get my appointment with the RE.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated? My mind it totally blank.
@kiwi2628 - Those are the best work outs! It's been a while since I've had one like that. I really need to start my strength training program again and get back the muscle I've lost!
@EmilyLove25 - yay for 11DPO!!
@starla - Yesterday was rainy here. I usually go for 2-3 1 mile walks during the day (depending on if I take a lunch or not) and I didn't get to go at all yesterday. It made me realize how much I need that time away from my desk.
@kiwi2628 how long is the hubs gone for? Enjoy your lounge time!
@starla positive thoughts, friend! Hoping you're not out
@mispanda personally...if you have an RE in mind, if even call and tell them what you've done/doing as far as tests and see what they say. Based on your month/cycle numbers, I'd say at least a phone call would be a step in the right direction. Good luck!
Month/Cycle: 10/11
CD/DPO: 25/7
Timing: great timing
Testing: Sunday if I don't start spotting before then
R/R: My progesterone levels are normal this month! They were low last month so they had me retest and my dr office called yesterday and I'm good.
Honestly...that call got my hopes up more. The tech said all of my lining and measurements she saw looked good, levels that need to look good are good. Good timing. Soooooo yea, I'm mentally really hopeful this month
CS/Q:
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
i agree with @mispanda that Gaga is underrated. I've recently become more of a fan and just as a person she seems genuine and wants to help which bumps her up a bit more for me.
Overrated...for me, just country in general. I don't get it
CD/DPO: 16/1 (I think)
Timing: If my O day is correct, 0 (x2), -1, -3
Testing:
R/R:
CS/Q: I'd appreciate any input you have on when you think O was, the temp dip has me confused
I'm also going to put my chart in my siggy here shortly.
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
I'm pretty relaxed when it comes to music, if it's catchy, I like it. I usually just listen to those mood playlists on Spotify and zone out, and not really pay attention to artists. However... I am a total Coldplay addict since like 12 years old. And also totes in love with Beyonce, too.
@kiwi2628 great work on that workout. I love that sore all over feeling, it's tangible progress. You've got me craving a good gym session now

R/R: Just another day. I got into work early so was able to Bump earlier than usual today!
CS/Q: No.
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated? I think Lindsey Sterling is underrated - I love her music but I feel like she isn't well known. As for overrated... I agree with @mispanda, Justin Bieber is SO overrated.
@EmilyLove25 Yay for making it to 11dpo!! And for your temp staying up! This cycle was my first cycle to O at a "normal" range (aka not at like CD 29/30) so I understand your excitement.
@kiwi2628 I understand your pain. I've worked out the past 3 days in a row, and my body hurts in places I didn't even think could hurt.
@starla I've never heard of Feist. I'll have to check her out.
@starla YOU ARE OFFICIALLY DEAD TO ME. Never speak ill of Brit. She is my JAM when I work out. Its such mindless glittery greatness! Ok, maybe youre right in that she isn't a great artist but I still love her
@mispanda I would just call him and ask him which RE he recommends at this point, that way you a) Take charge of your own fertility (see what I did there? yeaaaaa) and advocate for yourself and b) let him know you want to move on to an RE while still letting him know you value his opinion
@50Wife yay for good progesterone levels!
@AliW220 I second what @lulu1180 said- You have some open circles and one spike could be a fluke, so people here usually wait for CH to move over to be sure. FX this was it though!
@kiwi2628 Yay for time home alone! I don’t get that nearly as often as I would like to but can’t seem to find a way to force DH out of the house lol.
@EmilyLove25 Fx the long LP is a good sign!
@starla Nooooooooooo!!!! Not Britney! I don’t know if we can be bump friend anymore now! She’s my guilty pleasure music and I LOVE her!
@mispanda I’m sorry you’re feeling out this cycle. If I were you, I would talk to your OB first and get a referral. Even though you don’t need it for your insurance, if you really like and trust him, then it may be easier to find someone through him than wade through your options on your own. At this point, because you’re past the 12 month mark, I would definitely make that appointment though!
@gusgus14 I’m sorry that you’re also feeling out. I hope that if it is not your month that the time passes quickly so you can get in to see the RE.
@50Wife Yay for normal progesterone levels! Hoping that’s a good sign for you!
@AliW220 So happy I could help! Hope to see you back here soon…FWIW I think O was Sunday based on CM but I have a feeling FF will mark yesterday. What was the open circle for on Sunday? Did you temp later than your normal time?
@darkrose88 Yay for bumping earlier!! Also, I agree with you and @mispanda about Justin Bieber. I generally change the station if I hear one of his songs come on
Month/Cycle: 11/15 (5 an-O)
CD/DPO: 16/6
Timing: -5, -3, -1, O
Testing: no earlier than 17DPO
R/R: Yesterday during lunch, I had a surprisingly nice conversation with a coworker. She is usually kind of a trigger for me and we don’t talk much but sit with the same group. She was talking about religion and faith and I was able to help her see some things in a different light.
CS/Q: I don’t think so?
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
Underrated: Miranda Lambert, she’s kind of a cross between old school and modern day country but she has such a great sound and voice! Overrated: Sam Hunt. I don’t get the obsession with him, he is talking along with music, not singing!

CS/Q: My temps feel a little too rock steady. I'm beginning to doubt that I ovulated.
Gtky: I tend to like music by individual songs, so therefore there aren't specific artists I love or dislike. I Can't think of any songs that I feel are overrated. Well, I think jack black is underrated. His vocal range is impressive and many people don't realize the skill he actually has. Same with Emma Rossum. She was a brilliant Christine.

Month/Cycle: 13 cycles, 8 TTCAL
CD/DPO: 28 CD / 13 DPO
Timing: -1, -3, -4
Testing: Tomorrow if AF doesn't show. Just realized that means I'll have to buy more tests.
R/R:
Rant: I'm so tired this morning, I couldn't sleep due to a migraine. I feel like AF is going to show up on time tomorrow, so I caved and took excedrine instead of tylenol.
Rave: I woke up to an email with the venue estimate. It's right in our prospected budget. I'm super excited, because I think we are going to go with it once we figure out the bar stuff. My mom is pressuring us to get an officiant, but where I live a self-uniting marriage is legal and so much cheaper...maybe I should ask her if she wants to pay for the officiant...lol.
Also - Fiance bought me a Strawberry Shortcake after what happened on the weekend, and told me he knew I was having a hard time. He said he wanted me to confront the issue, and not shy away from it, but that maybe the way he did it wasn't quite right.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
I think a lot of popular music is a bit overrated - like Nikki Minaj and Justin Bieber. Their songs are just...meh...to me. I also agree with the others - Lady Gaga is underrated. She's simply the best, and I can feel the effort she's put into her work.

@mispanda It sounds like you have a really strong doctor/patient relationship with your OB so you could talk to him first and get his opinion. But, that doesn't mean you have to follow it. If he suggests waiting, but you are set on going, it is ultimately your decision. The conversation would be more for professional courtesy. Good luck.
@gusgus14 Sorry your having a crappy week
@50Wife Congrats on the good progesterone numbers! FX for you!
@AliW220 I do the same thing with the playlists on Spotify. I love finding new ones!
@lulu1180 Totally agree on Miranda, but Sam!!??? Ugh! He's so good. His acoustic stuff is awesome. But I could be biased because I met him and he's super nice and easy on the eyes
@Mythril Hope you hear back on the house soon! Also, agree on Emmy Rossum. I listen to the Phantom soundtrack all the time!
@SoraLk Sorry for the migraine. Hope its not AF.
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD/DPO: tentatively 16/3, however tomorrows temp will move CH back a day, even if it stays exactly the same

R/R: So this happened last night at dinner:
Me: (returns to the table after using the bathroom) : I've got this weird feeling in my throat and chest. It feels like an air bubble. It's making me cough *coughs*
H: Did you just POAS?
Me: Why would I POAS?
H: IDK, that's just what you do. You pee on things.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
I have strong opinions on music lol...
Overrated: John Legend -- I don't get why people are so enamored.
Also, Carrie Underwood. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me
Underrated: John Mayer should be waaaay more popular than he actually is. He is incredible live.
And I agree with those who said Gaga. I'm not a fan of the music she puts out, but her voice is amazing so I'm a fan of her.

GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated?
I think Rhianna is so over-rated - the girl CAN'T sing and her lyrics are AWFUL! (sorry for the fans out there). Underrated hmmm I am going to say Ed Sheeran right now (piggy backing off of yesterday). Everyone thinks he is straight pop, but is album pulls influence from many genres and I think his lyrics are great and very personal.
@kiwi2628 hooray for the awesome workout! Also, totally agree that Ariana Grande is overrated
@starla Madonna overrated? Oh man she was my first concert and I still love her hahaha
@mispanda I contacted my RE on my own. Everyone is different obviously but I felt ready for more of a plan and more answers. *TW* After I went to my RE I honestly regretted not going sooner, he was frankly surprised my OB (who I like very, very much) didn't run tests on my 2nd loss and do some other things *End TW* So my personal advice is if you feel ready, go ahead and make an appointment. Additionally - sometimes the RE themselves won't accept a new patient without an OB referral, certain timelines, etc. Just something to look into
@50wife hooray for great progesterone levels and great timing!! FX'd so hard for you
@lulu1180 i LOVE Miranda Lambert. Saw her in concert and she was simply awesome! Such a badass

Testing: BFN this morning. And my temps are starting to go down so I assume AF will be here soon. But still going to try to remain optimistic.
R/R: I am in such a fowl mood, not sure if it is PMS or just life. We built a house last year and my builder is being the biggest d-bag! We have to fight everything and are still waiting on things to be fixed from when we moved in last Sept. I just want to kick him so bad right now. Ugh, not the day to test me. I am also getting very discouraged with this whole TTC, so that is not helping either.

@AliW220 Is this your first month charting? That dip throws me off too… But as soon as you add a few more temps, you should get an idea. Have you tried entering temps for the next three days and seeing where it puts your crosshairs?
@darkrose88 Yay for 11 DPO together! And yay for normal O date… we will take the small victories!
@lulu1180 I love unexpected pleasant conversations!

@mispanda I just made the decision to contact a RE last week. I called my dr and asked if I needed a referral because I felt like it was time. I didn't really ASK if I should, just told her MY decision was to move forward. She actually recommended a RE and faxed over my charts. I was also hesitant about how to go about it but I'm glad I spoke up. Sounds like you have a good relationship with your dr though. You should do whatever you feel is right.
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 21/ 3
Timing: -5, -3, O (x2), +1
Testing: After AF comes I think, so in a week or so.
R/R: I haven’t gotten CHs on FF but they say I probably ovulated on CD18, and my CM and CP are all in the not fertile range, and my temp is down from yesterday, I had a peak OPK on Friday, and negative ones today (although the strips have shown negatives always), FF is showing a big red stop light telling me I’m probably not fertile, and if I play with temps for the next couple days I don’t get CHs so I’m calling it.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What music (artist/song) do you think is underrated? What do you think is overrated? It’s bad that I can’t think of anyone. Wait. Sugarland is overrated. I can’t stand them.

The only issue with just tracking when your period comes and using that is that even if you are the most regular person, we all have occasional cycles that are abnormal for us (as we like to say, you're regular until you're not) and if you have one where you happen to O later than normal, you can be "stuck" in TWW for an extended time thinking AF is late but you keep getting BFNs. Just my two cents.

Absolutely do what you feel is best for you and your partner, and you're still welcome to post, but just be cognoscente of the possible downfalls of not confirming O.
And keep in mind that the bolded is what we all thought at one point, but you may want to be a little more tactful when speaking on a board that contains many IF ladies.
